Same thing I said too plus it reduces game time. Imagine a game of like 5 of those VAR decisions. Valuable time will be lost for sure. Maybe I'll get used to it if FIFA endorses it fully but I know the first time I saw VAR in a hockey game (I think), I just didn't like the idea.

I love the controversy aspect of football. With VAR, teams won't get away with some funny goals (See Portugal and Chile games today for example). The second Chile goal still looked like an offside though the VAR okay'ed it.

This video assistant abi na assassination referee is not welcome at all. It kills the joy of the game. How can you pause a game to watch the playback? You kill the spontaneity therein. Controversy is one the things that makes football interesting.

They should abandon that technology asap. Goal line is enough to deal with.
