I am sorry for the late update, I got home late yesterday and slept off immediately, you know the stress of relocation. I have finally moved, I cut down 20k from the rent to pay the landlady in a month time, the truck was 12,500 and I was able to paint it and do mosquito nets. I am very grateful to all those who have contributed morally and financially, from recharge cards to N500 cash to N50,000. This is a period I can never forget in my life, My parents are late and no support from any family members, my wife's situation is similar to mine, the only person we have is her aged mother who lives with us and also depend on us, how could I have done this without the intervention of the God we serve through you all. God's mercies and favor shall never depart from your homes. God will continue to bless you all.

In addition to what I had, I now have 136k, i need just a little more, I have visited the places the two nairalanders suggested but it didn't work out due to distance or location. I am very grateful to them.

I will be paying for the one I got hopefully this evening. I am no longer afraid of what will happen when my landlord comes today, my wife is already packing. I have decided to leave him to God as many have suggested.

The rooms i found is 4k per room at 8k. That is 96k including agreement 25k and commission 25k which is 50k.

Please i will appreciate it if you do not mis-understand me. Please read my post very well before you make conclusions. I can never use my predicament to make money. If not for the urgent situation i find myself, I can still be able to save to get a place if i have the usual 6months notice. I have been able to manage my family and save from the little i earn. My brother, my situation is not by choice, it's by circumstance. Like i stated in my story i stayed in a 2 bedroom flat before i lost my job in 2008. my mother in-law is the only living parent and guardian we have as a family. We can't count her usefulness to our lives. I can not be happy that we are living together, It's a turn in situation which i believe will not last long. In other words the landlord does not have any complain at all about it.

I have left N50,000 for a misbahving landlord before. I was not given any quit notice but i just left on my own for some reasons.

The story one year later, nobody believed it.

Allow God to fight for you.

I will not take any legal action as you have advised. Once i am able to move out, I will leave him to God for judgement.

Sir, I can never do as you think. Gone are the days when they accept 10%. Infact some are at N4,000 for each room. Including N10,000 Damages. Some even stand at 30,000 each for agreement and commission amount to N60,000, I will have to look for the one of N3,500 per room which is N7,000, I will also look for or bargain for 50k for agreement and commission, of course i will negotiate damages out of it. I will never use this dilemma to make money. You can create an account where donations can go to and when i get a place you can appoint some nairalanders to follow me there for payment. I greatly appreciate your help and concerns. It takes a lot to want to help others.

I have N40,000, A room and palour around here is mostly N3,500 per month for each room, both room is N7,000 which is N84,000 for 1yr, Including agreement and commission which is N25,000 each (N50,000). I will need a total of N134,000. Minus truck for moving my belongings But i will appreciate anything you can assist me with. I can urgently sell some of my belongings to balance it up.

I got the number of the C.P Lagos State Fatai Owoseni. He declared to me that i should go to court, He said the police does not have the right to stop my landlord from forcefully ejecting me. I explained to him that i need protection from the police while we initiate a court process, He said the police can not stop my landlord from throwing me out, I replied him that but it's illegal and we don't have where to go with our belongings, he repeated his earlier statement again, I had to thank him and hang up. To some people suggesting Legal action, I do not have a lawyer or the money to buy the services of one and i do not have the complete money to rent a place around. I will prefer if i can get a loan with a longer time to pay back so i can get a place and move my family because my parents are late and my siblings depend on me for survival. The only person my wife has is her aged mother who also depends and lives with us. Most people are advising me to move out for the safety of my family which i agree with. I type this message with a very confused and worried heart because i don't know what to do next, I had financial challenges after losing my job in 2008, I had to cut down on my living so i moved from my 2 bedroom flat in Ifako Ijaye to a room and parlor house off AIT road, Alagbado, I am married with 2 kids and we live together here, we are the last of 5 tenants, my second year rent just ended February 2016 ( Last month), I owe no house rent nor electricity bill nor lawma bills.

I was able to manage my home with my farm management job. My landlord arrived by late January from London, Uk where he is based and said i should not bother paying this year's rent that we should all pack out of the house, He said some two tenants who have been in the house for many years owes him money and they also don't pay bills, he wants to send everyone packing and he gave us just 5 DAYS to move, I explained to him that i have not gathered enough money to rent new place, He said he will refund a year rent for me which is 60k (5k monthly for the 2 rooms). I was satisfied because i had about N50,000 in my account and i have been planning to move out of this out because i am not recording any progress since i moved in. I believe i could get another place with that amount. He did not promise the others any help before he left.

The two oldest tenant that have stayed for about 7 years told us after he left that he will still come back to collect the rent, that is his usual method whenever he comes around. He has been telling them to vacate the house since first year they moved in, To cut the story short, I started looking for a place and i got a place, I called him for the 60k promise to add to what i have to pay the rent. He started posting me until i got tired of calling him only for him to surface again on Sunday 13th of March after a month plus with a bricklayer, they started blocking the back door with bricks, he said everyone must move out, after much pleading, he blocked off the two old tenants while they hurriedly move out their belongings, their belongings still litter around the compound, he blocked off the toilet bath and kitchen and he brought an electrician to disconnect the light.

We are now left in darkness with no bathroom toilet and kitchen. He said he is coming back again for the rest of us by Friday 18th of March with OPC to move us out. I pleaded with him that i have gotten a new place that he should give me the money he promised so i can pay for the place and move in there before friday. He said NO, he insisted that i will have to pack my properties outside first before he can give me the money. The people who live on the same street with us started coming in with different stories of how the man has ejected tenants in the past, How he sometimes bring in Nigerian Army to throw people out, How he is heavily charmed, How he has placed charms on the four corners of the house and people started dying until they moved out, Although i don't believe that any evil power can overcome me, i am not afraid of charms because i serve a living God. They said that is how he usually promise people he thinks can resist him and he will suddenly storm the house and move them out. They were telling me with assurance that he will not give me a dime. I am concerned about him coming with who ever he has in his plan to throw my belongings out when i don't have anywhere to go or money to get another place. I do not owe this man any rent, I still have the teller i used to pay the last rent into his account. He has not served me any letter or quit notice.

Please mods i plead with you to help me move this to front-page so i can get advice and possible help. I don't know exactly where to post this but please help me move it to the right session. I need to act fast before he comes in 2 days (Friday). I am planning to tweet this link to as many people as possible. I will appreciate all the help and advise i can get, I can't imagine to be homeless with my family.

Now ya'll see what Ive been trying to say about the US and their scheme to get into Nigeria. Its been a setup from day 1.

My recommendation;

1. That Aviation guy that signed that agreement should be sacked immediately.
2. US Bound flights should compulsorily be transit via another country - No more directs for now.
3. Yaradua should come back and re-iterate his alliance and support for other African nations like Libya, etc
4, Nigeria should openly declare a stand against terrorism AND dissociation from the US in terms of their "war on terror" - This is what the UK is doing by the "probe" into the Iraq war - that will make the extremists not associate them with the oppression the US is carrying out everywhere under the tag; "war on terror"

If you follow the news carefully, you will find out that there is NO ONE DAY that the US forces in Pakistan or Afghan do not kill at least 8 women and children - they refuse to comment on it or even apologize.

Also, there were 5 US Citizens arrested in the Middle east for terrorism (they were actually the ones organizing the "suicide" bombings) - for some days now, the news quietly vanished - BUT we saw a continuous pictures and videos of the guys on TV.

There is no "terrorists", its the US on both ends - believe me people, they are the world's enemy and are trying to rule the world.

Americans need to understand that this is not OBJ, this is not a puppet or a petty person in charge.

I will NEVER have anything against ANY real terror attack against the US, NEVER!

You said it all mehn, Their main aim is to take charge of the world and the few countries that do not allow their intervention are the enemies of the U.S, Yemen did not allow U.S troops to attack al-qaeda in their country because by doing that they are allowing further instability in the country and they knew it. This is a country where the Dec 25 terror was planned and masterminded. We Nigerians should stand up for our future, I hope we don't become the next Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iraq soon, I pray not cos i will not like to die by a bomb.
