Why do i need to go out and explore islam? I know deep in my heart what i am doing and where i am going. Anyway *tell a lie* I have actually read some islam texts and found them quite intimidating so i refused to go on. I don't know about chrisd but i simply cannot sit down and be reading something that says " kufarrs are your worse enemys" "jesus was nothing more than a prophet". When infact Jesus is my saviour, my start, my now, my close, my end!

I did read enough to know that christianity and islam are both abrahamic and christianity started off with issac (The child of promise) and islam with Ishmel (Adultery).

And how come my personal opinion turned into ALL christians?

And what i meant by digging yourself too deep is that you might just get so caught up in islam that you can't find your way to turn back. Its happend before! But of course merciful God turned the person around. Overall Chrisd, you need to study christianity more, you can't know everything, there is always something you don't know. If you feel like your in a deep end the answer is not to study religion but to ask God to use your life for his Glory.

I understand you but you have got to understand that the pictures was not directed at you. I just put them there for people to see the cruelness of abortion. My friend recently had an abortion. I would never put her down or any one in the same situation because i love her and care for her. But the fact of the matter is im not against the people who have abortions, infact im not against anyone, i just feel sorry for the lives that are gone.

My intention was not to make you feel bad or put you down. My intension was to prevent another life being taken away. I'm warning others who think abortion is right. Im sorry if i upset you. But i think that the truth about abortion needs to come out. If nobody saw these pictures people will not know the horrific truth about abortion. The truth of the matter is, it can save a life, wouldn't that be better?

I am also a born-again christian and putting you down will be the last thing i will want to do. I can understand why you called me a mean person because that is what it seems like to you but you have totally got it wrong. If a mother that is going to abort sees these pictures and decides she is not going to abort and shows all her friends and they share similar opinions and so on, this can save MANY MANY lives.

Wether these pictures are real or not (which they are). That is what abortion looks like. You also seem to be missing my point here. Even if a feotus is only developed into 4 bunched up cells, aborting it you are still killing something that could have been a bouncy baby. My argument is that if you don't know what life is, who are you to make the choice wether a life lives or dies.

And you cannot tell me THESE pictures are not real! (I'm sorry everyone for the unpleasant pictures but this is real life)

Go ask God how to deal with hypocrites (if they really are). For a christian you are very judgemental against your own people and loving towards muslims. How sad that you canno't leave the judging up to God and evangelise to the muslims you respect so much.

You seem to have some deep issues with christians. You go around all the forums critisising born again christians. I bet this forum is a dream come true for you. What you need to do is stop critisising other people and TAKE THE LOG OUT OF YOUR OWN EYE. Give it a rest. Nobody wants to listen. If you have a problem with The Bible and Christians, Take it up with God!

As for the 'Bible condradictions' the words of the bible go deeper than WORDS. If you read the bible as a book, thats all it will be. Each chapter of the bible is like a stage of a christians life. While reading it you should have the holy spirit present. Then it will be of full meaning!

Lord almighty, we are sorry for doubting you lord. I pray that you will send your holy spirit down lord to help us people, show us lord that the bible is not just words but of mightiful meaning. Why would you exclude medical reasons?

One possible example: during a civil war a woman gets raped by the man who butchered her husband and her other children.
Another possible example: a single woman is pregnant. Two weeks after she finds out she's pregnant she loses her job
Another one: A retarded woman gets pregnant. She lives in an institution and can't take care of herself.

I think you can figure out what the consequences are of aborting or not aborting.

As for the first example, the woman should keep the child and give it up for adoption to a childless couple. As for the second example, the woman did not just fall pregnant, she had sex to fall pregnant! and she should have thought about her cirmcumstances when she was having sex, same as the retarted woman. The single woman should go to the job center! and claim benefits for her child and the retarded woman should either get help for her and her child or give it up for adoption. These examples are not excuse for abortion.

How can you say that before 23 weeks a fetoes is not a life. Do you know what life is? Do scientists know what life is? My best friend was born just after 23 weeks and it sickens me that she could have been aborted. These 46 million babies that are aborted each year could have been people, so what if they couldn't survive outside the womb if they were born, the fact is that they were doing quite well in the womb when the doctors interfered and sucked them out of their mother!

They say that its demons that enforce religion? so what are they just going to get rid of demons themselves? Or just decide to live with them? So how did these demons come about? isnt it God that said that he created an angel and the angel chose evil and became the devil? So they are just using Gods words and saying he dosen't even exist!

You can't can you! ONLY GOD CAN. Because right now your looking at the humanly side of things. You have got to think spiritually and open your heart and listen and hear these things out, because they are real, they exist. The Bible is real, its the word of God, but if you really want a relationship with God, its God you should be talking to not judging the bible. He will show you things! but its up to you to make the change.

I can try me hardest to convince you that the bible is real, but its all going to sound confusing to you. Until you open your heart and feel God.

No a christian canno't marry a person of a religion. I say this because getting married draws you away from God as it is. But marrying a muslim girl will draw you away from God even more. This is because we have differen't laws and commandments from God. It won't work. Also a christian husband and a wife are orignially surpose to go to CHURCH in the presence of God to get married and ask him for permission. The christian husband will expect to go to the church and the muslim wife will expect to go to the mosque. Also if they have children, they will most likely grow up confused about christianity and islam.

A true muslim woman wouldn't even marry out of her religion anyway because it is their belief.

I am a Christian and will only marry a Christian simply for the fact that i would like me and my husband to go in the presence of God together. So that the holy spirit can live in our home. Any marriage of God works! (If you do it correctly)

I can sit here and give you 101 reasons why Gods book (Bible) is the one true book. But i can guarentee you there will be an humanly answer to it (who made God etc.). What i mean is that the spiritual world is differen't then what we are living in because the devil has tempted humans and has suceeded, and as a result of this, we as men have messed up society. As for proof, the Bible made PLENTY of prophecies that is going to happen in the world towards the end and they are happening now. The bible also teaches a lot about False Teachings (Religions) that may sound convincing but are not true. After all is said and done if you really want to know God. Open your heart and do good by him and he will reveal himself to you!

The Holy Book of christians is not wrong. The Bible dosen't directly say " ONLY CHRISTIANS ARE GOING TO HEAVEN". But it does say :

John 14:6

It's going to be an uphill task to get rational answers from people viewing this thread if it was simply created for stereotyped answers. In all probability, it would have been almost impossible for me to trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour if the questions of my hardened skeptic mind received no rational answers. Nevermind if you don't have all the answers to the questions people ask: lovingly tell them the ones you know; leave a few more for some other Christians who might be more mature than you and me. Both ways, we'll be blessed. Jesus was criticised all round. Let's learn from Him who calls us to follow in His footsteps.

I didn't make this forum for arguing but im just going to say it as it is. Islam is not the "one true religion" because my bible does not say so. There is 101 things i can say to show you but i don't feel that it is needed. God will show himself to you when he wants to/if you allow him too, and then you will know that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that he who shall believe in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Theres nothing wrong with you understanding and respecting the islam religion, but it seems like your digging yourself in too deep. If you are really a christian like you claim to be, you should be evangelising about christianity - not telling people about islam. You should be drawing people to God. I'm not saying stop understanding islam but just a warning, before you dig yourself in deep.

Although, I'm not a Christian (and I will never be one; I was born a Muslim and I'll die a Muslim -- insha Allah), but I respect the Catholics more than you "new breed" christians. By negating them you have alienated over a billion of the christian adherents. If we remove this astounding number from your population worldwide what remains is, maybe, a little less than 800,000,000 "christians."
