I once created a profile on Upwork, but didn't understand how things work on Upwork, so I have to deactivate the account.

You can use payoneer or PayPal. I use payoneer, because I think PayPal is a little bit complicated for Nigeria*

It's sad, but definitely not the end of the road, your gig will still do well, even better than before. However, you have to work it out. Promote your gig, contact your repeated buyers, offer them some attractive discounts and bonuses. Above all, if you believe in God as I do, Ask God to help you, and be ready to work diligently.

Hope you've gotten a solution to this?
If not, make sure to contact CS before you do anything about the unwanted orders, because every cancellation imparts your "order completion tracker" regardless of the mode of cancellation. This is unfortunate, but that's the reality after the January upgrade. I'm talking from personal experience.

I'm a graphic designer and I'd never done five dollar job on fiverr, anything less than $10 must be minor photoshop job. Let's be considerate treating fellow humans, a $ should be minimum at worst even though the dude may not appreciate his worth, please show him the way instead of 200 naira offer. You mean you've actually being outsourcing design jobs from fiverr to a "good designer" at 50 cents per design? That's ridiculous. Does this guy (the good designer) knows about fiverr? I doubt it.
Please tell the guy about fiverr and you'll enjoy something that money cannot buy. it's called "peace of mind".

Please I need two things: 1. how do I create those type of adverts where sellers are advertising their services in form of buyer request? I did and Fiverr said this feature is not used for advertising services and that it might lead to restricting my account.

In response to your number 2. it's automatically generated by fiverr. As long as you're in "receiving custom order mode" it will be there so that buyers can contact you for a custom order.
I guess you know that there two modes... vacation mode and...

Why do you even think about lying? One lie needs another lie to survive. Before you know what's going on, you'll become a professional liar. I will suggest you keep your course of study out of it to avoid lying if you think your course of study is inappropriate for your niche. (I studied MEE and provide services that has nothing to do with MEE, yet...)

About social media accounts, it's not compulsory, but somehow necessary for profile completion.
If you're not cool with the idea of linking your existing social media accounts, you can create new accounts strictly for fiverr business.

I was bored today so I decided to carry out a little research on fiverr.
I requested a gig, not because I needed any service but because I wanted to gauge some certain parameters such as :
how long does a request last before sellers reply, how do sellers approach buyers (as in what language they use), are sellers willing accept less money than the actual worth of a service etc.


but what caught eye was that a seller replied me via inbox. I was really surprised but I didn't know it was possible to chat with a buyer who didn't approach you first. I checked and he was a newbie; not rated yet.

It's possible, if you're also a seller. but if you're just a buyer (that's you do not have any active gig) a seller cannot contact you except you've bought his or her gig before or have created a conversation in the past. However anyone can see your profile and also see the contact button but won't be able to contact you if you're absolutely a buyer.

The point I am trying to pass across basically is there are good buyers and also bad buyers. Same thing applies to sellers too.
