You need to log ur problem with NCC. Only NCC can help u. Next time try to tunnel all internet traffic from ur cafe to a VPN. Many free VPN exist on the internet, you may even get a premium VPN with a token monthly , some even support traffic encryption.

No i am not using multilinks, i use another isp (starcomms), but i had the same problems with my default port number and following the link i posted earlier solved that, just thought it would work for you also, sorry for the confusion

Most of isp access for internet connection in Nigeria is dial-up!. Dont get confused by the word "Broad band" . In nigeria, the so call broad band na via dial-up, hence the use of torrent has been greatly limited. Cos there is little you can do to bypass isp firewall on port numbers. The greatest fear of any ISP is for her subscribers to be using TORRENT for download! They ( ISPs ) dont even want you to know how it works.

When did you start using Torrent?, If you are a TRUE torrent user, you should know how to work around ur port numbers by now.

I once use OpenSUSE, Fedora, Mandrike, e.t.c i have not seen any Linux that can stand with Ubuntu, it get better always. The problem with other linux distribution is that you with continue looking for drivers for ur hardwares (especially urs plugables). The only driver not available in Ubuntu is Richo in-build card reader for most laptop ( most linux distribution are also guilty too), but i think Ubuntu 9.10 will take care of that.

Boot with Window 7 Dvd. (window 7 RTM i.e build 7600 will be a better option)
Follow the installation prompt and select upgrade option. (Upgrade will take longer time cos ur system will be backed-up so that you will loose non of ur files)

But doing fresh installation for win 7 will be the best if you get appropriate drivers for ur hardware.***Tip: I discovered most Win XP drivers work perfectly with win 7, you may google it up anyway.

I dont think all Nigerian men are unfaithful neither all nigerian women. The problem is just that people come to conclution based on few experience they had ( approx 50million Nigerian men above 18rs***UN Est***), and not all campus girls are wayward as generally claimed.

Any Dial-up is no good, no matter how it was "painted" , I mean like  "broadband dial-up" etc, dial-up is dial-up. Then we need to know that ISPs "deceived" people about the speed. Some will advertised 2.4mbps speed, that  "b" is not usually byte but bits in most cases, hence you need to divide by 8 to actually get the real speed. So 2.4mbps speed becomes 300KByte/s. So, when ur ISP says dem go give you 800kbps speed dont be surprised to see less than 100KB/s

Over 4yrs now i have took pain to install and test common anti-Virus program to see how they work.
I must say that Kaspersky Internet security is the best, infact[b] Kaspersky[/b] is the only Anti-virus as at April 2009 with Proactive Defence Option.
The worst of them all is Norton & McCaffe. With brand new PC that came with preinstalled Nortons & McCaffe showing virus free, I uninstall and installed Kaspersky then performing full virus scan, I'm surprised with the result. If you are in doubt, uninstall your present anti-virus,, install kaspersky and perform system scan, then you make ur choice, even Kaspersky trial is far more better compared to Notron.

Some one mayl ask me why preinstalled Anti-virus are not good?, It is just like Mr Bigg's marketing Coca-cola, doesn't make Coca-cola the best drink!

@honsule; When referring to N95 Is it China N95 or Nokia N95 . Please always specify. Nokia N95 and other Nokia 3rd Edition got a superb WiFi connect, check ur manual

Infoseye, what is ur N95 8gb firmware?, you can check ur firmware by *#0000# .

1. You may be experiencing some problem if ur firmware is lock to particular region. I updated my firmware to V20.0.016 RM-320 when i was having the same problem, that was when i brought it new. But check nokia site for the most recent firmware, but dont mess with Firmware if you dont know HOW.

2. If application or games you are trying to install is Unsigned. Plantinium Security feature is all what makes Symbian 3rd edition different from previous Nokia Symbian 2nd & 1st edition phone. You can only do the following to install unsigned applications:
a. Find a way to sign the application with ur phone Serials.
b. Hack the phone. then you can switch off Platinium Security at will, thereafter you can install ANY unsigned symbian application.

Which type of software u have in mind?, and which model of N95 did u have ? N95 8GB or N95 classic?

N95 8Gb has unlimited way of expanding her functions because of the firmware, and if you succeded hacking or patching your firmware like mine, the sky is your limit on what the phone can do. I have grooved a lot of functions into my N95-8gb that NO PHONE IN NIGERIA market ever had,

I started using Starcomms izap September 2008. I got a download speed of 750kbps - 800kbps on EDVO network around Lekki area at Night till dawn ( October). That is the best speed on EDVO i ever get. It is amaizing for me to download a game of 1.2GByte less than 28 minute!
But recently the download speed of izap is under 50Kbps at Night, during the daytime my MTN & zain from my phone is faster compare to iZap
