madridguy:Well said. I think we should also stop praising killing and violence irrespective of which part of Nigeria it occurs. I remembered Boko-Haram were praised by some (not all) SW and North Muslims when they started burning Churches years back. Even on Nairaland a callous moderator by the name "Mactunji" was against anyone who spoke against Boko-Haram that time, I think everyone now understand Boko-Haram are just criminals just as Niger/Delta Avenger. Gullible people are always quick to justify violence, we all need to enlighten folks around us that criminality can never bring peace. |

horizonhotspot:Everyone knows she's having mental issues from excessive use of drug before deportation. My surprise is not about her, but people that invited such a partially-mad woman for an interview, seems they understand each other, meaning they might be birds of same feather. |
It is a pity such kind is happening. It shows a big flaw in everything within the country. On the lighter note, when Fulani-farmer wahala surfaced in Benue and some part of South-west, where are all those rabbies shouting "...such thing can't happen..." in their state and villages. Everyone of them promising rain of fire and brimestones on all these Fulani parasites. Where are they now? All word and no action. The problem has been with us longtime. When there's no rule of law, anything goes. |

This is how we destroy our economy. All the countries with strong economy pay everyone in their local currency. Na so our FX reserve go finish. Arsene Wenger is a French Man, Did Arsenal pay him in Euro or GBP or Dollar? He's paid in GBP because he works in UK. Even coaches within Europe were paid in Euro, not $ This is a clear example of loop-holes within our system, if we are serious about future of this country that coach need to be paid in Naira. |
Good move. Better for us to learn fast, so that we won't become like Greece. Greece was once a very rich country. She was importing everything, until she became bankrupt. |

Women wanted to take control of their homes. But when they gave birth to a son, they forgot the son will have a wife and his wife will take control too. Whenever wife and mother-in-law decided to have control, "Fight of the titan" resurrected... What a pity!! A wife of today, become mother-in-law tomorrow, this cycle continues for all ages. ![]() |

To All Non-GTBank employees monitoring this thread, Kindly take a lesson from #GTBankScam back to your managment. It is an eye-opener that Nigerian Institutions (Financial, Legal, etc) were part of Mega-corruption going on in this country. International business owners charged slightly above CBN rate due to administrative charges e.g 1. Amazon as at March 1st, 2016 charged 208 Naira (admin charges inclusive) to $ to calculate your purchase, but our greedy banks will decline the transaction unless you select "$", or other international currencies. 2. KLM Airline here in Nigeria will charge around 200 Naira to $ to pay for your airline tickets. So, who is killing who? Foreign investors (US & EU) will NEVER come to do business with you as long as corporate scamming exist. Such environment only attracts "rabies" from China, India and Arab countries into our business sectors. So, before you blame GEJ & Buhari on current events in the country, be aware that ripple effect of your actions are killing this country more than ravaging plague. |

ofedegbe:Don't mind them jare. Igbo don't respect their own kind. They wanted to establish prototypes of their village colonies right inside another man's land. |

AbdulHaram:Can you explain why Igbo always blame Yoruba for their failures? Ohanaeze is trying to restore orderliness within Igbo, you have to be happy at least a step was made toward sanity. Sanity has been absent before, during and after British rule. Igbo must learn to be accountable for their actions instead of blaming North and West for their woes. If North and West has been very hostile like them, they won't have luxury of making Hausa and Yoruba land a place to setup business not to talk of mini-HRH colony |
Whatsapp ending support for All Blackberry OS by late 2016 However, the operating system has failed to gain traction with smartphone users and now accounts for less than 1% of the market. There had been speculation that the handset-maker would wind down support for Blackberry 10 after it released a smartphone running Android, and closed its "Built for Blackberry" programme for app developers. But the firm has insisted: "We're not abandoning the loyal customers who have contributed to our success." The full list of operating systems WhatsApp will stop supporting is: Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 Blackberry OS 7 and earlier Blackberry 10 Nokia S40 Nokia Symbian S60 Windows Phone 7.1 "While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they don't offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future," WhatsApp said in a blogpost. "When we started WhatsApp in 2009... about 70 percent of smartphones sold at the time had operating systems offered by BlackBerry and Nokia." The firm said mobile operating systems offered by Google, Apple and Microsoft accounted for 99.5% of sales today. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-35686613 The only consolation is that latest Andriod version might still run on BB 10 |
Shakitibobo:This is one of the issue why foreign investors will never come to invest in our economy, a place with no consumers' right. Will you invest your money in an institution without security? I've been having waivering mind about GTBank before this time, but this #GTBankScam has made me reason to put my capital elsewhere. It is an eye-opener GTBank can wake-up one day and started telling me story-for-the-gods. It is obvious, GTBank is living in past glory. Whoever among GTBank IT staff that came up with such corporate scam has done more harm than good. Tho' I'm not a victim of this #GTBank-199-to-a-$ scam, but I sympatized with my Nigerian brothers who were robbed by same financial institution that ought to protect their finances. |
Phony200:Are you aware people call GTbank CC to confirm this rate when all these happened? And CC confirmed it to be the new rate for the day. What if GTBank refund all your $ transaction today, and redebit your account @ 800 Naira to a $ ... GTBank has all the right? |
Let take #GTBankScam to twitter and always cc @Gtbank in all the tweets. |
ifeanyija:I didn't change ANY |
