@Tumababa: Here is the message I received from Itune after I re-jailbreak, de-activated and installed SAM.
Itune did not even allow me to select network manually. Itunes auto-detected my phone, and give me message as attached, and my network shows automatically without installing Ultrasnow.
so what next?, Does it mean my 3Gs is now factory unlocked?

If it's UK u can unlock it officially but we need to know d network its locked to. Use SAM to know d network amd let me know. The price is btw 20k to 40k, while some are not unlockable. The one I have is black and it's 58k.It's on 4.3.3 baseband 5.16 so gps is working PERFECTLY.

Rightly as you guys have answered we Jehovah's Witnesses don't marry people who are not members of our organization and there are clear cut reasons why we do so, so please relax and follow me gently as i unfold them:

According to instructions that can be found in the Bible at 1st Corinthians 7:31, it made it clear that we should marry only in the lord ,yeah some may ask "Marry in the lord" Does it not include other members of other religions or denominations that constitute Christianity
I can emphatically say NO, In so many places in the bible the expression "in the lord" signifies sharing the same beliefs, principles , attitudes,way of life. It is obvious that no other religion on earth share the same ideologies with the witnesses and at that cannot be said to be in the same lord with them

Please do not be too fast to conclude that we are a sect or that we segregate so much that we don't have marriage dealings with members of other denominations or religions.During the time of the Ancient Israel, they were barred by God to have marriage alliances with people of other nations , Why? this was to keep their worship of him sacred or undiluted and not for segregation reasons, because outside marriage, Isrealites still traded businesses with Other nations. At your time read Deuteronomy 7: 3 , 4

In marriage a lot of things are considered, but i think that one of the things that must be considered most is, COMPATIBILITY, With a witness that holds fast to the teachings found in the bible, it would be very difficult been compatible with such witness devoid of serious problems in marraige

LISTEN TO MY ADVICE

(a) there are many celebrations that are accepted in many churches today(e.g Christmas, Birthdays, Halloween etc)which do not have biblical backing which the witness may strongly desist from attending those functions with you thereby creating creating cracks in the unity of your marriage.
(b)On my own self i would not encourage you Poster to be a witness, because it is obvious that you are becoming a witness just for a selfish motive(marrying the girl). try to see evidences and proofs why been a witness is worth it and not because you are in "a one month love"

(c) Even if the girl agrees to marry you against the wishes of her parents , do not blame the parents of the girl for not attending the marriage functions or blessing the marriage, because they wanted the best for their child and marriage and would not condone seeing her get married to somebody they know would not provide the best for their children


Please no matter how offended/bad you feel about this post, that is the truth, in my short life's span i have seen many marriages like this break down, at least 60-70 percent of them do break down,and those that do not ,sometimes happiness may not be there .

Did you go to toilet?, Was it ever mentioned in the Bible someone go to toilet?, hence, from your point (a), if you go to toilet, you might be "sinning" against "God"?

Have you ever taken your bath?, It was never mentioned in the Bible that Jesus went into a bathroom to take his bath, hence, I don't expect JW to take their bath.

I was in your shoe some years back, the only difference was that She is a Jehovah witness and I am married, we never dated, just a friend before I got married.

She always call me. She said, she can't sleep without hearing my voice within 2 days.

When I asked her about her relationship (because now she's around 37years), She told me, ", She has not seen or meet any man of my quality", That is when I know I'm in hot-soup!  

What I did?

I blocked ALL calls to my phones for MONTHs, When I say month I mean like up to 8 months. People only get me via my wife number, thank God she never know my wife number.

That is how, I break every means of communication from her.

For those who want this, it's considered almost unhackable so you're gonna have to pay the $20 asking price on the Cydia Store.

It is not about making call on ipad only, Another advantage is the USSD interface on the ipad. Which means I can load my recharge cards directly on my ipad and I can dial ALL network service code without removing my SIM.

If I can buy official Anti-virus key for btn 8k to 10k to keep my Window base computer safe, I don't see harm spending extra 3k on my ipad to explore her FULL capabilities.

I installed the software from cydia, about 7Mb size. Open the app on my ipad, copy my displayed ipad Serial# and click on the payment link.
I made the payment of $19.99 via my GTBank Visa card.
After about 15 mins, my payment was confirmed.
I opened the application again on my ipad, after verification of my serial# payment, I received a prompt to "reboot my device"
After rebooting, 2 new icon show on my home screen, an icon for "phone" for making GSM calls and "Message" for sending & receiving SMS just like secular phones.
Now, I have made calls with it, I have finally confirmed it working, everyone around me were surprised when I made call via ipad, it was like a magic.
These iphoneislam guys from Egypt are real genius. I hope Apple will employed them one day.

My iPad finally a call making device with SMS functionality.

Developer for this app is an Egyptian, when it comes to internet scams, they are #1. That is why want to be sure before putting my money on the application.

problem now is having to jailbreak all over again .

Please wait for beta 2 of iOS5 because this first release require ur UDID to be registered for Apple development before it can work.
Let just wait of the public release, a friend has upgraded but find it useless because can't see any network or wireless signal due to Non-registered UDID, he planning to downgrage to 4.3.3 .

I am once a HTC user myself, close to a year of using HTC Desire. HTC phones are great, but big battery drain.
No matter which type of ROM used with HTC, the batttery must drain.
Later I discovered it was a design issue.
Processor Chip on both Android and iOS can both handle Clock Speed upto 1.3Ghz or more.
Android default clock speed is around 988Mhz (0.99Ghz), Apple played safe by clocking default around 566Mhz to 600Mhz.
When running applications e. g Games, Music etc., The clock speed may step-up base on application demand.
Hence, a little game or music on Android will step processor to about 1Ghz or more, which mean more internal heat to be generated.
This is the main issue with Android running devices, The battery must always drain, unlike Apple and Blackeberries.
Anyone obese with HTC or Android phones can go for it, if you are ready to cope with her short-comings, it is a matter of choice.
My HTC Desire is on a long vacation now, reserve only for emergency.

Most people using HTC doesn't know how to manage the battery. These are the things to do to prolong the HTC Battery

1. Reduce the brightness
2. Switch off yor bluetooth and Wifi when not in use
3. Put your phone on Airplane mode when there is no service.
4. if possible all vibrations should be removed.

I only follow steps 1 and 2 and my battery always last for more than 24hrs with active use.

If you need to do ALL these for your Android phone battery to last 24hrs , why not Switch-off the phone for good?
