📢 UNIABUJA RECRUITMENT UPDATE: CBT RESULTS/SHORTLIST NOW BEING RELEASED

Candidates who participated in the recently concluded University of Abuja Recruitment CBT are beginning to receive their results and notifications for the next stage.

One notification received shows:

📌 Cumulative Score: 88%
📌 Cut-Off Mark: 65%
📌 Outcome: Qualified for Interview

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The score reflected in the official notification may be a cumulative score and may not necessarily be the same as the score displayed immediately after the CBT.

For example, the candidate whose notification is referenced above initially saw 51.5 upon submitting the CBT, while the subsequent notification reflected a cumulative score of 88%.

Whoever scored 40% during the CBT would see his result above 65%, which is the cut off mark

The exact formula used to arrive at the cumulative score has not yet been clearly explained to candidates, so we cannot confirm how the final figure was calculated.

For now, candidates are advised to check their registered email addresses, including Spam/Junk folders, for their individual notifications.

If you participated in the CBT, check your email. Your result/shortlist notification may already be available.

More verified updates will be shared as they become available.

I saw someone with 60+. I think it is a general failure, but selection will still be Department-specific. So, one should not be pessimistic nor too hopeful.

Wow, someone actually scored 56. I guess that clears up my suspicion about an error in the grading system. I was beginning to think it was grading out of 55 instead of percentage, but with a score of 56, which is higher than the total of 55 questions in that category, that clears it. It's well

It's your girl again o.
My baby is about two weeks now.
Initially she cries for food after every two/three hrs.
But I noticed since yesterday she's been sleeping more both at night and day.
My concern now is when I notice it's over four hours she's been sleeping, I try to wake her up to eat, she sucks for a minute or two and go back to sleep.
Eg. today she's had just one proper feeding session of about 20 minutes sucking. I have even changed her diaper with the hope she will Wake to eat, but she just sucked for about 2 minutes and went back to sleep.

Pls mothers what can I do?
I am concerned she's not getting enough nutrients. Coz I googled and saw babies should feed 8-12 times daily with a min nursing time of 20 minutes per feed for breast fed babies.

Please what do I do?
Btw 1pm and 2pm I have tried to wake her up about 3 times, but she's just enjoying her sleep.

I was in your shoes last 2 weeks, looking for the proper way. I just resolved to cleaning the navel with warm water and cotton wool after reading from vanguard site about a doctor educating that the old traditional. method of lantern, hot water... weren't necessary,. The navel closed up within 4 days.

In my culture we use warm water to press a little while bathing, then use spirit and cotton wool to clean like 4times a day, it falls off 6-12 days, when it falls , the mother or caretaker chew a small quantity of alligator pepper, not much chewing o, place d grinded alligator pepper on the navel and band it with a white bandage or a clean small piece of cloth, around the baby.

I think they stop when d baby is a month old

I googled and Google says just to leave it except clean any secretions if found...
I have heard so many different versions, like use hot fabric to press the Navel, tie stones to fabric etc. Grind the fallen cord etc...

Pls can someone educate me on the proper and adequate/necessary care.
Coz my baby's cord fell off on Thursday, and I am concerned I am not doing the right thing.

Also pls how long will it take for the Navel to heal properly!

Pls note I am asking despite Google coz, I remember Google said I don't need alcohol (spirit to clean cord) just damp cotton is adequate, but I latter read somewhere that alcohol could be used in developing countries (Nigeria is one) where there is high susceptibility to infection.

Pls educate me.

In addition to that, you should also use an organic shea butter (one that hasnt been mixed with anything) on their delicate skin to maintain their skin color and texture. Its been proven and recommended by various health practitioners.

That year in school my off campus house was almost turned into a brothel, my roommate mum visited us unannounced while my friend was giving it hot to his girlfriend, I told his mum that he went for lectures and would be back soon. Your friend's mum is one of the best women in the world. Rather than take it out on the poor girl like some foolish women do, She was gentle with the girl and took it out on her son. These are women I look up to.

You can buy things like clothes(second) or undies(male/female), perfs and body sprays and sell in the hostel to students.

I did something similar in 2013.
And it was amazing. The good part of it is you just go to market your wares when it's convenient. Just avoid selling on credit as much as you can (it might not be avoidable, but ensure its minimized).
