Romance / Re: Men Are Getting Weaker And Women Are Getting Stronger by solash: 9:30pm On Apr 23, 2017
Tallesty1:
I tell people, especially men that claim feminists that seeds are being planted by women with hidden agenda and these seeds when they germinate and grow will turn men to kitchen husbands.

Women are inherently jealous, competitive, and sometimes insecure control freaks.

Women Naturally want to exert control over everything. They enjoy to make those around them feel inadequate, insecure, nervous, angry, anxious and physically sick.

They've been doing these things to themselves and now they're planning to start doing it to men too and that's the mission of modern day feminism.

Women empowerment program here and there but there's no support for men.
Campaign for girl child education but nothing for the Boy Child.

A look at how women treat their fellow women who are their equal will tell you what will happen to the rest of us when they are completely empowered.

The good news however is that the neglected Boy Child will form a terrorist organization and bomb us all.
Wow!

Politics / Re: must read!! Gov Of Enugu Ugwuanyi Moves To Secure Release Of 76 Detained Farmers by solash: 11:18am On Mar 30, 2016
This situation is really outrageous and extremely disturbing.
76 youths held against their will and that of their people plus 2 women missing since 17th of March!
And we are getting this kind of clueless response from the Director of Public Prosecution(DPP), Ministry of Justice and the police PPRO.

My advice is that the Leaders of Enugu and Abia(where these youths are been held) state should not sleep at all until they get to the bottom of this kind of new evil by these so called herdsmen.

All eyes are on them

However; Kudos to the leaders of Enugu and Awgu L.G.A for their quick intervention and also the Awgu people for maintaining the peace amidst such provocation.

You don't have to rant like a mad person in order to drive home whatever point you have.

"My own State" "My own state" Hahaha!
This is a faceless forum and anybody is at liberty to claim anything.

Besides, this is not the first time a miscreant would be claiming to come from Akwa Abasi Ibom state only for us to discover otherwise.

Ndoki is NOT one of the Indegenous ethnic groups in Akwa-Ibom. They don't have recognized traditional ttitles and are not active in politics. Igbos in Alaba in Lagos are far more influential than the Ndokis in Akwa-Ibom.
Get that into your skull.
Hahaha!
Where did you get what you just posted from?

This proves you know little about Akwa Ibom State.
Make your research properly or better travel to Akwa Ibom as this will help clear your confusion.

I should stop mentioning Akwa-Ibom, my own state because some Igbos want to mention and bastardize it ba? You see why I say things that make it look like I hate your people? You see?
Now what will make you refer to a fellow indigene(Ndoki) of Akwa Ibom state as a mere migrant in his homeland if not Hatred or should I say ignorance.

Your post is disgraceful.

The Ndokis or whatever you call them are settlers around the Abia/Akwa Ibom border. They are NOT Indegenes. It's just like calling Igbos in Festac or Alaba Lagos indegenes. That they made Amuwo odoofin their home does not in any way make them Lagos indegenes.
Be guided.
I think you are taking your hatred too far. This your post is stupid to say the least.

And please stop mentioning Akwa-Ibom in your foolishness.

Politics / Re: Dear Seun, Your "Rule 9" Is Against Social Justice And Democratic Tenet by solash: 10:40pm On Dec 11, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
Let me first apologise for posting this on this section. This is because I have been restricted from posting on politics section due to ban given to me by one of the moderators in that section.

The purpose of this thread is to call the attention of the Founder of Nairaland, Mr Seun Osewa over his decision to 'ban' the promotion of Biafran agitation on Nairaland.com. As most of us know, Rule 9 has been amended by the owner to reflect on the ban. Quoting the rule...

Though I am neither an Igboman nor one of the promoters of Biafra, I couldn't help but express displeasure in the rule because it violates Article 2 of United Nations Resolution on Self Determination (1960), Sections 35, 39 and 42 of the Constitution of Nigeria and also is in conflict with the principle of Social justice.

For avoidance of doubt, article 2 of the UN Resolution on Self-Determination states that...

All peoples have the right to self-determination; by virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.

It clearly states that people should FREELY determine their status and freely pursue it.
The decision of Mr Seun has contravened this paragraph and it is not something we should celebrate.

Furthermore, Nigeria Constitution guarantee some rights to every citizen and group. Some of which include;

1. Right to personal liberty (Section 35): Every person is entitled to personal liberty.

2. Right to freedom of Expression (Section 39): Right to freedom of expression and the press is very fundamental to the sustenance of democracy

3. Right to freedom from discrimination (Section 42): No citizen of Nigeria shall be discriminated against on the basis of his community, ethnic group, place of origin, sex, religion or political opinion

All the aforementioned rights have been taken away by the amended rule 9 of Nairaland.com. Additionally, the decision of Mr Seun also contravenes the principle of social justice. For avoidance of doubt, Social justice principle is of the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities.

While I have been at the receiving end of some pro-Biafran promoters in terms of insults and abuse, it won't make me to support what I know is against their fundamental right as Nigerians and citizens of the world.

It will be more appropriate for the moderators to take down content by agitators of Biafra that promotes hate, violence and support arson. However, they deserve the right to be expressive. Those of us that believe in Nigeria will not hesitate to engage promoters of Biafra movement intellectually when opportuned.

Yes, we love promoters of Biafrans and some people don't want the Igbo nation or any other nation to secede but it is inappropriate to shut their voices. We have to uphold the tenet of democracy in promoting our unity.

May God Bless Us All and Bless Nigeria.
[A man once said "Sometimes in life you feel you have become a lord: superstar and have finally arrived, but a single careless mistake is just enough to cause your downfall"

I have a feeling that this singular action will hunt SEUN if not now maybe in the future.

One day people will remind him that he took the side of suppression and oppression of freedom of speech because of brown envelope.
