This is very wrong. I don't agree with you at all.

A country gets better when there's is true and sincere discussions.
Why can't you come up with superior arguments to counter the promoters of Biafra.

For this action, I must say that SEUN is a big diisgrace to all lovers of liberty, dialogue and freedom of speech.

Like I said before in one other thread, going to Mars is not the problem but setting up a full settlement on Mars is not in the equation of any mainstream scientific organization. The main of going to Mars is purely for research purpose and maybe one day we maybe use it as an outpost. That Mars one mission is a big joke, the main aim of nasa now is to spot any planet outside our solar system with the potential to sustain life and to carry out details studies about the planet condition. And one other even if we are looking for planet outside our system, we should also be considering the remaining life span of planet. For Mars is not a good choice, when our grow old even mars will not be safe
Good point

It is not an issue of doubt, man will Set foot on Mars in no distant future, but colonizing it is out of equation. If you nasa very well you will see there are talk of sending man to Mars but they are not discussing permanent stay. Their plan of going there is purely for research purpose. The future of man lies outside the solar system and not on Mars. I believe I don't have highlight some of the problems anybody who tries to inhabitant Mars will face as I believe you already knows that. High radiation, low gravity, low pressure and some other factors. All these can be manage for a short time but what of the long time effects, and also remember co2 has it tolerant level to plant. At certain level it becomes toxic to plant and animal.
[/quote]But is there no possibility of creating in the future slightly evolved humans, plants and animals that could at least contain the harsh nature of mars for a reasonable long term period as more studies continue

colonizing mars is something that is being planned now by an independent organization.their is nothing like miracle in science, the atmosphere in mars is very thin but that is not a problem, oxygen will be generated the same way it is generated in space stations in orbit around the earth.

its called Mars One and they will be sending an unmanned craft to mars by 2018, the colony (habitat will be set up by unmanned robotic means) then the first batch of humans will be moved to mars by 2025.. below is a picture of how such habitat in mars would look like
Amazing!
But I want to ask, isn't Federal Republic of Nigeria suppose to be part of this new scientific revolution? Yes I mean Yes a black nation has all it takes to achieve great heights.

It's so painful to only read about these developments when in fact Nigerians sponsored by Nigeria are suppose to be the ones championing these developments.

I ask again, is Nigeria ever going to wake up, or should the black world start looking towards Eastern Nigeria(BIAFRA) for scientific leadership?

ONE NIGERIA FOR HAUSA/FULANI YORUBA, ONE NIGERIAN FOR BIAFRAN GOVERNORS, HOUSE OF REP/SENATE , ASSEMBLY MEMBERS, ONE NIGERIA FOR THE FEW HAVING FUN IN IT? ONE NIGERIA MY FOOT ;-
Great Biafrans, My Hausa friend asked me: Under what conditions would you start believing that One Nigeria is working? Here was my response:
1. Close down Lagos ports and Open up PH, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri; so that when you clear your goods, cars and containers, you can drive it all the way to Lagos even when there is a seaport there

2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports...only local or minimal connecting flights will be allowed. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and PH to international flights...direct and major connecting flights.

3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos and Abuja to Enugu, PH and Calabar.

4. All federal governments agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, PH and Calabar. CBN, NNPC,e.t.c shall and must relocate to PH, Calabar and Enugu.

5. If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented, we can try one Nigeria and let's see if you Hausas and Yorubas will like it for a month. Meaning, Yorubas and Hausas needing to get visas shall travel to PH, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping and importing their goods, e.t.c.

The Hausa friend replied: You can't be serious, this is wickedness! I said, "Really? Don't you think the South-East and South-South have been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 yrs? Why do you think people are clamouring for Biafra?" He was quiet for a few seconds and said: Wow! You are right, but it never occurred to me. I said, "that's the problem with One Nigeria, those who are benefiting love it and would love to maintain the status quo". An adage in my place says, "The one who ate fleshy meat forgets easily; but the one who eats the bone never forgets"!
Wow!

I am from south south, niger delta in particular, but I think it's about time PMB reads the riot act to these miscreants. The beauty of Nigeria as a nation is in her diversity and whoever is blind to this reality needs some education. People should be made to understand the consequences of daring the sovereignty of NIGERIA, when such protest by unscrupulous elements are not met with grieve consequences, it inspires smaller nations to stand up to Nigeria. Shoot at sight order must be given to our security forces to any misguided group or association whose aim is to question or threaten the sovereignty of NIGERIA! Leadership is not all about giving carrot to the people all the time, Iron rod is used sometimes to bring citizens back to their senses.

You seem to be the most fuulish and st*pid person on this thread. You dare not outlaw a peaceful protest such as this. You cannot beat a child and at the same time ask him not to cry, and any nation so stupid as to toy with the sense of belonging of a section of her citizens deserves disintegration. I wonder why Nigeria has vehemently refused to tell herself the truth and build together instead of lies, suppression and playing of ostrich.

Injustice to one is an injustice to all.
