Was awesome. Basically told me to tell him what was not on CV, sell him an apple and why banking till he seemed convinced. I'm just hoping for a positive outcome. |
faithee01:No number for Babajide though. You could try mailing the dude that sent your invite. 1pm today for mine. |
Francis9:They slated mine for 1 pm today and also stated that I come along with two copies of my CV. |
Francis9:Got mine. |
sisichels:THE ORACLE! |
For candidates scheduled for the AC next week. The presentation questions have been changed! You're given three to pick one out of which are; 1. If you had no education, what career path would you have chosen and why? 2. Someone in your team is not contributing to the entire teams effort and dragging you all back. What steps would you use in solving this issue with the non contributing team mate? 3. What quality do humans need more of these days and why? Plus don't take it too seriously y'all. I met some of the most eloquent and precise people during my AC and still they were unsuccessful. Just do your thing the best way u can. Either way its an experience, live it. Concerning the group task. Its a puzzle. "A barrister owns a shop and has five regular customers that come in like clockwork. These customers order the same items everyday for breakfast. Your job is to find out what time they arrive, including what drink and food they ordered". You have two sets of clues. Public and Private ones. You are not supposed to show your private clues (mine was 4) to a team mate and only read to em out. The public clues consist of three cards... one contains five time stamps 8:10 to 8:30, the second contains five sets of drinks and the third contains snack types that go along with the drink and items that the customers buy. All five each. Now the issue is I don't know what KPMG looks for here but its funny that someone that actually placed her private clues on the table for all to see got a success mail. So basically screw em and do what u want. For panel interview. They'll bombard you from anywhere. Asking scenario based questions about teamwork, best decision you've ever made? when has your integrity been compromised? where do you see yourself in five years? undergraduate project? link between your course of study and audit.. All that stuff. Plus don't mention passion for audit please. Good luck in your KPMG endeavors brethren. Peace. |
chocobere:Thats all under the first stage. The current affairs, GMAT mathematics and verbal reasoning are for the CBT test. If successful, you proceed to write an essay. The BAT (Business awareness test) is the second stage after you pass the essay and receive a success mail. |
Pinkiee:No problem dear. Wish you infinite success. |
sisichels:Waiting on a reply. Guess the unofficial name for KPMG is PATIENCE. Lol. |
@pinkiee Sisichels has answered your question perfectly. I'm amazed myself. Thanks babe. |
sisichels:AC stage. HR was quite slow with me. |
izutex007:Bro. As a fellow metabolite I'd advise you take on audit... These others are so not for us. Our skills can be more transferable to Tax or Audit. I chose the latter. |
radah3:Well it seems absurd to wait till June or August. HR too is quiet on the matter, tired of calling Abayomi. |
koks2000:Yup. Lotta folks doubted me when I said it back on the thread two months ago. |
To the new KPMG test invitees. There ain't nothing like dragnet past questions, they are an FOT "administrator", get it? The questions are set by KPMG HR themselves and administered by dragnet as a CBT. All you have to do is study the GMAT and your current affairs. Google is all you need. If you really wanna get into KPMG take that move. Some of us here used no materials and stuff. Just research, using Google once more. |
Collineno:Just found it.. its kinda important. If more candidates have a better CGPA you could be dropped during the benchmark phase. The only way to escape that is if u scored highly during the tests... I mean the CBT, essay, BAT and Critical reasoning if this is administered during the AC. All together. |
Intrepid01:Nice. Been wanting to ask a KPMG person this. Is CGPA being used as a factor during their benchmarking stage? If no then why do the ask for transcripts during document verification? Want to squash an argument on a thread which states that folks with a borderline 2.1 CGPA can't get employed by the firm. |
Collineno:KPMG employees on the thread should answer this. |
Candyyy please follow back so I can mail you. |
Elhomoj:Mathematics - Algebra, ratios, proportions, solving equations. Verbal- Sentence correction, Synonyms and antonyms, intense logic. Current affairs - Nigeria and the world. Time is 60 minutes and you have 50 questions. If you are successful you will be notified as soon as u click the submit button considering the fact you are writing a CBT (computer based test) at Chams or JKK. Assuming u are writing at the KPMG Tower it will be a physical paper test which will also consist of a 30 minute argumentative essay after the GMAT. For CBT takers you only get to write the essay if successful. Be careful. KPMG wants the best candidates so every little thing matters. |
sage50:Lmao. All be resuming. What a joke, if u bet on football you should know that's impossible. They don't employ all possible, they have a number they want always and it varies. SHL marks based on percentile and not scores, self deceit ain't advisable. Each stage is meant to screen as much applicants out as possible. They mark those interviews and u must exceed a certain threshold to pass. By the way, u should be tense, that's how u give ur best. |
TOdus18:Thanks dear. You're a darling. |
sir09:You are forgetting benchmarking, that's a stage. Before medicals then offer. |
Applicants who attended the AC last Thursday. Why isn't anyone coming out to speak? Were you all threatened or just hoarding the info. Speak up please. On how it went down. |
savio93:Wrote? Was it like a written exam? No interview and group work or presentation?... |
Audit applicants that were engaged in the AC today please come tell us how it went. |
Raalsalghul:Baba (bows down). Why would u guess? An immortal like u? You're Raalsalghul. SHL is no match for u boss. Or has the Lazarus pit dried up? |
BlackHummer:The words you selectively used while commenting gave u away. |
BlackHummer:Nice. What field of the Sciences do u specialize in? |
Ochs:Download the latest flash player from Adobe. Install and reopen the browser. Change browsers if issue still persists. For the pop ups blocked, head over to your browser settings and check the allow pop ups box. |
Kejimylove:Its quite simple. Get a good internet connection, use your friend's laptop and download adobe flash player from their site (unless u want me to list the steps again which I won't). When u carry out your computer check and the computer notices u have no flash player, a link will be there to help u get it. Download the file (about 13 mb), close your browser, install and enjoy. |
Martiyu:Some graduates before us are still on the waiting list so I suggest we chill a bit. |
