superfelix:Not a stalite... Rather an alumnus |
superfelix:Angola and Mozambique have the biggest rooms on campus. Same size, big enuf buh not for 25pple to fit in. Original room design was for 4occupants to a room. Even the rooms in Oda halls were designed for 2 occupants per room and such areas as medical floors 1 per room. Now u wondering why so much rhetoric, I pray you and every other person's to acknowledge we have a problem and resolve to solve them in whatever acting capacity you have tomorrow. Prepare to build a better nation as you educate your mind. Peace |
SPORE:Well very subjective though.. I will give u an objective answer though..Male hall I assume u seek. Jus 4 male hall on campus. Awolowo Hall, Adekunle Fajuyi Hall, ETF Hall ETF means Education Trust Fund the newest of the halls though very small, and Angola Hall exclusively for fresh students only though wit a mix nowadays. Awo hall, offers the best of communal life, unity, and lots of fun... No dulling, if u are the fun loving type and extroverted, u meet pple who can play away their life yet have the best of grades on campus. Bad side, extremely over populated rooms and poor sanitation. People familiar with OAU will tell you, Àwo is where you find animals in human clothing. Lol Adekunle Fajuyi hall, the closest of male hall to the academics area while Moremi is the closest of all hall. One time Oau's bigboys hall before ETF was built. Simple- styled, quite clean and less congested. It was said of Faj, that it is a hall for the serious minded and trouble free minded. The ladies love to visit Faj. Bad side, like where u find to many docile pple, introverted and less mindful of the neighbours, public utilities will lack proper care and due diligence. Common room will be dead silent most times while the porters are neither proactive nor reactive, all they do is watch Africa Magic Yoruba. ETF, the most expensive male hall. U will understand the word expensive in your 2nd year. Has got the neatest, most conducive rooms, spacious and well ventilated. ETF to the best of my knowledge doesn't have any in-hall religious activities except for the mosque. Not crowded at all except the legal room occupant accommodate too many squatters and floaters. Bad side, much closer to places where you would lose sight of your primary purpose on campus than where will make you receive a standing ovation on your convocation. In others words, quite far academics, very close to New Buka and New market. Due to the distance, if proper care isn't practiced you will be most likely not well informed about the activities on campus. You might spend more on transport if Ure d lazy type Angola, almost 90percent of occupant are freshmen. So that translates to quick friends, easy academic cohort, spying partners. Bad side of Angola.. Official record says 12 men to a room, which is the most of all male hall number of occupant to a single room, yet you could be as much as 25 in the room. So picture the rest. |
Stay cool, stay informed. Freshers who don't get space are often times those who didn't apply at all or make d least effort at getting one. Ife always get her freshers accommodated on campus if d status quo remain as I've always known. Omoh1998: |
Yes they usually do for fresh students.. It always come in batches buh d best is to pick one from d first batch. U understand why, d anxiety. ![]() ayox1: |
If something isn't wrong wit d portal... Den d Nigerian factor was at play. If d portal was wrong in declaring space finished den Ife will release space on another date. Wat next, No worries fresh students always get a space if they are persistent. D anxiety can be killing but DSA is the answer. If u can't secure a space on the portal. Go to DSA wen u resume, be ready to plea Ur way through Omoh1998: |
Did you get a space cus I know uve been persistent too Omoh1998: |
Dis portal jus told me female space exhausted... Naw I'm wondering who took d spaces, I know Ife has over 1200 bedspaces for female students and have been on the portal all day |

Fantastically embarrassing |
It's quite unfortunate dat some part of the country are experiencing erratic power supply but seriously in most part of OSUN especially Ilesa and Ife, d power supply is almost about 16 hours per day 4 like a month of my stay b4 I left some days ago. However, I've spent 4 days in Lagos and power here 4 dis 4 days is just about 3hours. Very sad |
How dear u miss out Buruji Kasamu... Dat famous drug runner |
christiese:Girl just shut up ur mouth and reason. If indeed you are smart it won't take more than 3 seconds to realise that the student is being smart about his/her dealings regardless. Successfully answer 3 questions out of four required which makes a total of 27 meaning with a CA of 13 he/she would have satisfied the minimum requirement to pass the course. So I wonder what u seek to achieve with this cheap melodrama of urs. U think reading so many topics 4 exams easy.. Dats very petty of you. Grow up |
EVILFOREST:LOL, FFK-FEMI FANI KAYODE OMOALEJATIJATI OLOKO ŃLÁ Abegii |
D only worthy thread to post on in such a long time, I can relate with them all and d memories are worthwhile. Made life much more interesting to me now. God bless you op, wat a memory especially my part 3 |
akin003:Your comment reeks optimism. Good |
bookface:I'm tempted to go by your simple logic, which in itself self is correct given we believe the frivolous demand created for the dollar bills remain. But really I will have none of it of every Tom, Dick, and Harry place unnecessary demand for the dollar bills by importing whatever they feel necessary into the country. Every industry will look inwardly into the deepest corners of the country to source for some raw material component instead of going through the rigorous process of getting the hard currencies to import product components. Really with Nigerians, these measures and foreseeable predicted reactions which remains subjective to each person aren't sacrosanct Bless you |
I guess this thread is meant to validate oloshos. A damned generation, lost it every ways. At this rate, murder will become fashionable one day |
BeauHomme:Make I run for my head Abeg ![]() |
BeauHomme:U shldnt b, u know Nigerians know, most don't read instructions. |
BeauHomme:Looks like ure d first to admit Alfred stole the coke and I share your thoughts . Exactly 4 sentences are correct from the 8 sentences wen one assumes Alfred stole d coke. |
Now this is a certified stuppid man. I fear for your life |
yomalex:Mr English, will u b nice enough to educate us. Seems u understand the language more. Over |
The biggest lie ever in this country is Nigeria being Nigeria. Nigeria was founded on a lie of oneness of several totally different ethnic groups. |

), bottomline is, no free meal for the BDC as no #197 again. This might cause an increase on d black market but it won't last, majorly because banks would now trade dollars (for legitimate reasons only). Importers who the major people in need of the dollar would boycott entirely the BDC's meaning less demand for their own dollars.
