Airborne02:280k. As with your words "just to assist with fan and small light for phone," you might not even spend up to that sum to get what you'd find adequate. I'm very sure that if you check Wiremind Electronics' catalogue, you'll likely find cheaper options (such as 380WH, 290WH, and 250WH solar gens) that will suit your needs (fan use and phone charging). |
Last month, I purchased another power station from Wiremind Electronics and I must admit that I'm pleased with its top-level performance. Just as seen in the attached picture, the power station is a kind of medium-sized solar generator with two AC ports, eight USB ports, one 19.5v port (for laptop charging) and two 12v ports. It's a 600W power station featuring a pure sinewave inverter (which maxes out at 700W), a 580WH Lifepo4 battery, and an inbuilt 200W MPPT charge controller. While I must also admit that the power station has constantly matched my expectations, its MPPT controller aids fast charging (the power station charges from "low" to "full" in about three hours whenever I use the lithium battery charger that came with it). I have used it with different appliances (including a small 500W iron), and I'm tempted to confess that its 700W inverter is top-notch. Meanwhile, the power station is yielding the expected run time depending on the wattage of the load connected to it. The inverter inside is truly pure sinewave because it doesn't trigger any buzzing sound in any sensitive appliance that I connect to the power station; it handles loads excellently; and it has a feature that makes the cooling fan kick in when the inverter's temperature reaches a particular limit and then stop once the temperature drops to a given (moderate) limit. That's actually different from a situation where the cooling fan runs almost all the time inasmuch as the inverter is switched on. My simple guess is that such a feature (which makes the fan kick in only when necessary) has the advantage of reducing the power consumption of the inverter. Overall, my honest verdict is that this new power station is a huge upgrade from each of the previous power stations/solar generators I got from Wiremind Electronics (You can find my reviews on the past purchases in some of the previous pages of this thread). So far, I've been enjoying the power station and I'm glad that Wiremind Electronics has maintained the excellent standards its power stations/solar generators are known for.

faceland:As to whether the power station (you're about to purchase) is overpriced or not, I may not have any opinion yet and that's because you didn't state the price of the power station. Then looking at the description you just posted, I'm tempted to confess that the words "lead acid battery" (just as seen in the description) are a strong deterrent. You would be better off with a power station built with a lithium (Lifepo4 or high-quality lithium ion) battery. If it's within your powers to cancel the purchase order, I'd advise that you do so. |
yeyebrity:You can get a reliable power station, also known as "laptop power bank," from Wiremind Electronics. Simply search for this Nairaland moniker "Yemmyteespeed007" to contact Wiremind Electronics and see the litany of user reviews about its power stations. |
How about the original keyboard of Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E430c? Do you have it and what's the price? |
You can get a reliable laptop power bank (also called power station) from Wiremind Electronics. I own a Wiremind Electronics laptop power bank, and it has been serving me excellently since 2021. Wiremind Electronics can be contacted via Nairaland (through this moniker "Yemmyteespeed007") or on WhatsApp via Zero. Eight. One. Zero. Nine. Six. Five. Five. Five. Two. Six. |
Solanaa:Yea, you can try laptop power banks. They are actually called power stations. I own two of them, one is a DC model while the other one is an AC model. They are very reliable. I've been using the DC model since 2021 and it is still very strong and reliable. It is an 80,000mAh power station and it can power my 35W Samsung laptop for 15-18 hours depending on what I'm using the laptop for. I obtained both devices from Wiremind Electronics. You can contact Wiremind Electronics on Nairaland (through this moniker "Yemmyteespeed007" so as to read the testimonies from users of its power stations. You can as well message me on WhatsApp (0.9.0.3.1.7.Six.Zero.One.Four.Three) for more information about the power stations I bought from Wiremind Electronics. If you want to contact Wiremind Electronics on WhatsApp, you should do so via this phone number 0.8.1.0.9.6.5.5.5.Two.Six |
I've been using the 80,000mAh version of Wiremind Electronics solar generator (a kind of power station that can be recharged using solar energy) for a little less than two weeks. I bought the device on 21st of March, 2023. This isn't my first time of purchasing a power station from Wiremind Electronics. I have the DC model of Wiremind Electronics 80kmAh power station which I purchased in November 2021, and which has been serving me really well. I am a content writer and I spend a lot of time on my laptops. Recently, I bought a Samsung RV511 laptop but because there's no ready-to-use connector tip for this Samsung laptop, it's impossible to use my DC 80kmAh power station for the laptop. Meanwhile, a "connector tip" is a tiny device that you connect to the power cable that comes with whatever DC power station that you buy from Wiremind Electronics. There are connector tips for various laptops, but unfortunately, Wiremind Electronics doesn't have the connector tip for my Samsung RV511 laptop, probably because it is a very uncommon laptop. Failure to get a ready-to-use connector tip for the Samsung laptop meant I wouldn't be able to use my DC 80kmAh power station to charge the laptop. But instead of going through the rather long process of getting Wiremind Electronics to build a connector tip from scratch, I decided to purchase an inexpensive option among the AC models of Wiremind Electronics power stations. So, I was decided on getting the 50kmAh version of the AC models. I was glad about this decision because I was pretty sure that with the AC model of Wiremind Electronics power station, I wouldn't have to worry about a lack of connector tips for whatever laptops I'd be using; an AC model lets you charge any laptop directly, as you can plug the charger of your laptop to the AC port of the power station, thereby allowing current to pass through the charger of the laptop. Hoping to buy the 50kmAh version of the AC models, I was glad not only because it would be possible for me to use the device to power any laptop, but also because I would use it to directly power my phones and a number of household appliances: mini TV, standing fan, decoder, etc. However, I didn't eventually purchase the 50kmAh version of Wiremind Electronics AC power stations. I had changed my mind after rigorous thinking. Because it was glaring to my very eyes that the 50kmAh AC power station might not meet my power needs for the Samsung laptop (need I also say power supply is terrible in my neighbourhood?), I firmly decided that I was going to up my budget and purchase the 80kmAh version of the AC power stations instead. Long and short of my story is that I eventually purchased the 80,000mAh version of Wiremind Electronics AC power stations, and it has been serving me well. My Samsung RV511 laptop tends to consume more power compared to my other laptops. However, I can confirm that after a full charge, the power station can power the laptop for about 15 hours, though I have observed that the runtime depends on the kind of task I'm performing. While on a light task such as using Microsoft Word for typing, I'm usually guaranteed an average runtime of 15 hours. Without any dubiety, the 80kmAh AC power station I purchased from Wiremind Electronics is worth every penny spent on it. And what I deem most gladdening is that I now have two 80kmAh power stations (DC and AC models) and I've got nothing to worry about even when there is a prolonged power outage. And why would I suggest this AC power station to people? Well, if your job requires spending a considerable number of hours on your laptop and you reside in a neighbourhood where power supply is unreliable, you probably need an alternative power supply such as a befitting option from Wiremind Electronics AC power stations. If you pick any of the AC models, you will be able to power just any laptop; there will be no need asking Wiremind Electronics whether there are connector tips for your MacBook and other laptops. In another vein, the AC models of Wiremind Electronics power stations are great for individuals who want to avoid traditional generators, while in need of power for most low-watt appliances/gadgets: phones, decoders, DSLR cameras, clippers, mini TV sets, etc. Traditional generators are good, but they are costly to maintain and they produce a lot of noise. Noise and high cost of fuel are the chief reasons why I've always dispensed with the idea of getting a traditional generator for my job. Since these power stations (DC and AC models) cost me a relatively meagre fee (because I may have to pay to recharge them when there's a prolonged power outage) or no fee to maintain, it's pretty certain that they are a better alternative to the traditional generator. I wouldn't mind thanking Wiremind Electronics a million times! |
victorazy:The sentence is actually correct, according to the modern grammar rule for the pronoun "they". It's correct to use "they" for singular indefinite pronouns such as "somebody", "anyone", "anybody", etc., and for singular (noun) subjects where the gender is not specified. The word "person" is a singular (noun) subject that doesn't refer to a particular gender. So, while seeking a pronoun that should replace "person", it's grammatically acceptable to use "they" in place of the hackneyed "he/she". |
fcdgrand:I can't tell, but you may contact Wiremind Electronics via the contact number Zero.Eight.One.Zero.Nine.Six.Five.Five.Five.Two.Six, to find out the current prices of its laptop power banks. |
Wiremind Electronics is very reliable. I purchased the 80,000mAh version of its laptop power bank in November 2021. I am a content writer and prior to my purchase of the laptop power bank, I was in dire need of a reliable power solution which would not only replace PHCN-provided electricity (esp. during power outages), but also deliver at least 15-hour runtime after being fully charged. Fortunately, I came across Wiremind Electronics on Nairaland, and after being convinced about the reliability of its products, courtesy of a litany of positive user reviews, I opted to purchase the 80,000mAh version of the Wiremind Electronics laptop power bank. I must confess that the power bank really proved to be the perfect alternative power source for my online content writing job. Starting from November 2021, the 80,000mAh power bank, after being fully charged, was powering my Acer Aspire mini laptop for nothing less than 20 hours, though I always kept the laptop's battery out of the laptop. This was usually in order to extend the runtime up to 20 hours or more. Everything was going fine with the laptop power bank until June 2022 when I began to observe that the power bank could no longer deliver up to 20-hour runtime. I was shocked because at that time, I had barely used the device for 8 months. I was scared, thinking that the power bank had started declining. At that time, the power bank could barely power my Acer Aspire mini laptop for 13 hours, as against the usual 20-hour+ runtime after each full charge. Then again, I noticed that the power bank could no longer charge up to 100%. Instead of the usual 6-7 hours it should take to charge from "low battery" to 100%, the charging time had drastically reduced to less than 3 hours. This, coupled with the decline in runtime, compounded my fear about the power bank and I felt it was high time I complained about the device. Then, I contacted Wiremind Electronics in July 2022 (8 months after purchasing the power bank) and lodged a detailed complaint about the device. At first, I was amazed at the swift manner in which Mr. Yemi, the manufacturer and seller of Wiremind Electronics gadgets, responded to me. I asked if he could remember me and to my delight, he confirmed that he could. I am based in Ilorin and in order to deliver the power bank to Mr. Yemi, I had to send it back to him in Ado-Ekiti. Mr. Yemi made it clear that something must have gone wrong with the power bank. I sent him a short video showing that the power bank could no longer charge up to 100%. Then, he said that there must be an error somewhere and demanded that I send the device back to him. After sending it back to Mr. Yemi, he diagnosed the power bank and confirmed that its Battery Management System (BMS) board got tampered with as a result of some "stray conductive material" that got into it (I'm very sure that this must have stemmed from certain instances of poor handling by me). So, he concluded that this was the technical reason why the power bank was charging erroneously. Three days after receiving the power bank from me, Mr. Yemi was able to correct the fault. He even helped add two more USB ports to the power bank (he rendered this additional service in return for a very small amount of money). Actually, I had demanded that he should do that because the single USB port on the device was not enough for charging my phones. After three days of sending the power bank to him for repair, I got the device back. I have tested the power bank multiple times, and now I can confirm that my 80,000mAh laptop power bank is functioning well. The device now charges up to 100% and it can power my Acer Aspire mini laptop for nothing less than 20 hours while on light usage such as typing with Microsoft Word. For a fact, what strikes me most about Wiremind Electronics (i.e. Mr. Yemi) is his manner of business conduct. He is very attentive and he tries his best to satisfy customers. Honestly, he didn't charge me a dime for helping me fix the faulty power bank despite that he had to replace its faulty BMS board with a new one. My experience with Mr. Yemi is a clear testimony that there is a warranty on whatever laptop power bank you purchase from him. He is such a fantastic person to do business with. Moreover, his laptop power banks are very strong. |
