jmaine:
Stop sounding pathetic with your clumpsy defense for a glaring and shameful media deceit, was the emboldened part meant to appease us to ignore that shameful tactics you would gladly label others as being being clueless, embarrassing and desperate, guess you share the same blame as well.

You get shamed and embarrassed by your seemingly blind support and you suddenly hide under the stale Pro GEJ accusation cover. your choice of Buhari shouldn't be any one headache but your trying to deceive us to adopt your stance e.g this mess we are currently discussing on this thread is really shameful for the purported agents of change  angry .

And point of note , nairaland is not Nigeria in reality . the registered youths in the just concluded voters register are estimated to be 45 million. kindly take a look at following issues below :-

(1) How many registered members does nairaland have.

(2) How many multiple id's do members on nairaland posses ,even Mods sef dey use multiple id's.

(3) what is the number of the total poll voters on this land (Nairaland), does it clock  1000 and how how does this even equate to the total number of about 45 million youths waiting to exercise their votes.

(4) most votes polled could be attributed to Diasporas, how would they influence the April polls.
.

Answer those questions solemnly then you can speak up with a good fill of reason and not throwing empty tantrums that would not change the course of event. hate it but it is a fact that the PDP will still win cos the opposition are too divided (personal gains) to present a formidable challenge and platform to challenge the party currently in power.

i no too get time for your argument . just tend to the assignment above. that should keep you busy for a while cheesy
Answering your questions:

1. Lets assume NL has 50,000 registered voters and (0.8 X 50,000) of them are not only voting for Buhari but vigorously campaigning for him in their offices, families, among friends, on the streets, in the Mosques and in the Churches. You shuld have noticed Buhari's supporters on NL are strong characters with audacious goodwills and are the kinds that will not only make rhetoric but also back their beliefs with consequential actions. Many NL BB fans are using their money to print stickers, posters, flyers and have been coming together in groups to reach many people on the street. So if each 1 of this estimated 40,000 registered voter convinces at least 4 undecided voters each that is (4 X 40,000) votes. I personally have won over 50 registered undecided voters and still counting. I send e-mails to all my friends and enemies, send out facebook messages on what PDP/GEJ have been doing with their lives and the achievements of BB in all his public stewardships.

2. About multiple IDs only jobless people and people expecting some returns on their efforts can put in the kind of energy require to manage multiple IDs. I have monitor posts on NL and can assure u most people with multiple IDs usually get tired and abandon the IDs subconsciously and they are not difficult to track.
3. NL has been ranked among the top 50 most visited websites in the world. If you think people coming here cannot make a big difference on INEC for A? u better start thinking.

4. Good question! No diasporian dropped from heavens, they have got friends, family members and colleagues scattered all over Nigeria. They are big influence on these loved ones. I am in the know of a group of NL Diasporians that met on NL and have raised considerable amount of money, without meeting face to face with each other, to pursue the course they so much believe in (BB 2011)/. Some more passionate ones are even coming down to cast their own votes for the 2 honest men.

pdp dont vote them, they will ruin nigeria one more time, dont vote them i repeat dont vote. And what does okupe means? when ppl support a  political party now, it a religious movement? they shouldnt place their vote again, To be honest, people have seen, pdp will lose  so many seats come election period, backsetters kind of a ppl.
PDP/GEJ fears clearly captured by Dr Doyin Okupe's submission has nothing to do with religion but confusion on our to carry out this year rigging in the unfolding face of Buhari popularity. They have never seen this kind of followership for one man and they cannot even stand the fact that many more Southerners are rooting for the 'Man of Integrity'.

Your message is good and make sure you tell your friends, your relatives and even your enemies alike to vote for Buhari-Bakare. It is a vote for our future and that of our children.

PoliticsRe: "born-again" Pdp Chieftains Exposes 13 Methods Of Rigging Elections! ! ! by Solomon227(m): 2:29pm On Mar 27, 2011
Jonathan will be making history, surely, this April 2011. But the kind of history he will be making is what I cannot figure out for now.
GEJ/PDP are loosing Presidency big time and all events of the last few days show they have started the rigging plans. An attempt to rewrite people's will (this time around especially in the North and SW) will cataflame d already delicate entity called Nigeria. I see him, possibly ending-up as the last President of a united Nigeria, therefore effectively bringing to past the US intelligence prediction of the end of the Nation.

On the other hand he has the option to be remembered for fighting gallantly and loosing honourably then handing over to the people's choice for change.

There is nothing wrong if GEJ wins a free and fair election where but anything short of this potent danger for the clueless mind. We are going to help him loose and leave. We are mobilising all the real-time technology at our disposal to monitor election all over the country. People can easily send videos and pictures of violence, polling unit result sheets, ballots hi-jacking and peaceful conducts from their phones and it will be available worldwide in a jivy.

You have not answered  my questions. Are you Omolara? Has Omolara complained to you her song is being used illegally? I understand these are hard times for GEJ backers.

No achievement to tag on your master, BB wave is sweeping the whole North and gathering 'alarming' momentum in the South, the NL opinions are like 80-20 against your master, GEJ FB has now turned into into a dust-bin, all genuine opinion polls are against him, the hitherto fanatic GEJ supporters are getting tired of his dubious inclinations and dumping him on hourly basis. I really do not like your job; I was once in your shoes.

Syenite:
Forget this B/B nonesense!! That generation of leaders has nothing to offer to Nigerians. They are responsible for our present woes and economic mis-fortunes.Not even the GEJ/Sambo rubish.Leaders that don't even know their left from their right. A COMPLETE REVOLUTION just like what is happening in the middle-east is what we want. We need knowledgeble and 'truely well educated leaders'. That is my opinion.
Your opinions sound perfect and they should have been the case in an ideal and progressive nation but sadly Nigeria is currently not ideal nor progressive. May be you do not know the BB we are talking about I will summarise his achievements and xters that endear him to many right-thinking Nigerians. I will also compare him to other options we have on the table right now.

Benin-Ore road which successive PDP governments, in 12+ years, have not been able to renovate in spite of appropriating Billions of Naira every fiscal year is about 300 to 500 km long. BB as the Head of PTF successfully renovated and constructed about 50,000 km of road nationwide.

BB has served as a Governor, Minister of Petroleum resources, PTF Chairman and as the Head of States. All these positions as you can see are "juicy" but the General has always chosen the path of honour having only one house in his home town without even a single stall in Abuja. On the contrary GEJ has been in position of Authority since 1999, controlling Billions of Naira, but we have been finding it almost impossible to identify even 1 project that GEJ has started, completed and commissioned.

If you make a visit to any Federal Government hospital in your area; I mean anywhere you are living in Nigeria take a look at the hospital beds, mattresses, pillows, equipment, and buildings u will notice immediately that almost every single item has a PTF logo. This is what BB did with money put under his control between 1997-1999. The PDP government has been in power since 1999 then how come they have not been able to replace all these items with new ones or even providing additional items? They do not have any plan to serve the people but  the few greedy ones

If you desire a Nation that you can be proud of anywhere in the World, If you want a secured Nation where looters, killers and bombers will not be celebrated as heroes, If you want a good foundation for your future and that of your children.,.,.,

Its good to know Jonathan and his cohorts cannot sleep at the mention of BB.

PDP/GEJ locked the halls we took to streets and campaigned successfully.

They told NTA not to take our jingle the jingle is now viral on FB and youtube

BB converts, donors and volunteers are increasing in number geometrically while GEJ is dancing scape-goat.

We are now on Lagos streets giving out stickers of our candidate to the common people taking away the GEJ biscuits from them.

Many independent individuals are sponsoring radio jingles and posters in many parts of the South.

This is a collective dream by people who put their Nation first and we are determined to bring it to fruition.

Its a very hard choice really buy I certainly wish this country the very best. God will help us.
He (GEJ) imported dust-bins form the United Kingdom at the time Nigerian Manufacturing industry is going moribund

He gave his official jet to an accused murderer  to fly from Ibadan to Abuja

He gives visitors to Aso Rock a transport fare of $50,000

He told us Dokpesi and IBB killed innocent people and later went to IBB house begging them to support him

GEJ in 11 months has depleted the Nation foreign reserves with nothing commensurate to show for this

He has refused to attend all debates to tell us what his plans are we know he doesnt have one though

He organised a welcome party for a public enemy (Looter Bode) just when every1 is yearning for positive changes in our Land

Reference:
Personally I just think it is a straight forward duel between the forces of social justice and the potential for anti-corruption. One has been delivered while the other is pending and though the desire is strong for the latter I would not risk the former in any way shape or form for the latter. What I mean is this the first political shift out of the traditional power centres and this to me is very great gain. This I hope has ended the so called 'rights of some to rule' and emboldened others to demand for political equality. Conversely, yes we need institutions. The BB ticket may as well be in the lead here but there is no guarantee they would be able to pull it off. His overthrow and consequent inability to see his agenda through in 1983 (as a sovereign ruler - with all powers) proved that in Nigeria corruption is more than a match for even the 'strong men'. Obama was absolutely right in this. Now he will be faced with a constitution, a judiciary and legislators he and his party CANNOT control. So I would rather take what is possible for now, a south-south presidency today that will embolden us all to fight for a better Nigeria tomorrow than the utopia of a perfect Nigeria in two terms. Finally, and at the end of the day when I look at all the candidates I would rather with all seriousness consider who I can be certain is 'removable' either by sentiments, votes or internal democratic or undemocratic 'wranglings'.  Like or hate PDP as we all do, they have the biggest supermarket out there and they have a track record of dispensing candidates and office holders. Goodluck may not even last his full term. What does CPC offer apart from its lead man. Now if peradventure something happens to the duo we may get very unexpected and wild swings in the polity that could pose very complicated questions.

Its a very hard choice really buy I certainly wish this country the very best. God will help us.
Buhari has said and demonstrated his simple style; if you did well you will get a handshake if you messed up handcuffs of course. His Vice is not less efficient in demonstrating disdain for corruption and underhand tendencies. As a matter of fact he and his group saved GEJ from the kitchen of Turai where he was watching plates. GEJ stands for nothing. he has been in Govt for 12+ years and he is not remembered to have started, completed and commissioned any outstanding project.

Rather than wasting 'cyber saliva' here, I believe a better strategy would be for one (or all) of you to set your self(ves) ablaze in a public square somewhere in Nigeria (ala the Tunisian example). That 'might' instigate a revolution that would make Nigeria the eldorado that WE all so desperately wish for. Anything else is useless cyber rhethoric. Too bad I'm an incurable realist - fukc baseless optimism.
Your type have no positive hope and genuine interest of your fatherland at heart. Abacha set up PTF as the Northern version of Ompadec. Buhari was chosen for his forthright execution of projects, that's all.

However the joke is that PTF completed more projects in the South than Ompadec.

25% of N1m is bigger than 100% of nothing.
Thank u my Dear.

Buhari achievements are so visible and tangible that people are able to create database and attempt to monitor the spread.

GEJ has been in position of authority for 12+ years, with Billions of Naira under his able-less control, I dear any of his backer to post pictures of projects he has started, completed and commisioned.

I am just a Southern Nigerian out of millions and I experienced Buhari's touch without even getting to Kano. Faculty of Engineering of the University of Lagos toilets and lecture theatre, where I was a student, were refurbished by PTF. My Dept Chemical Engineering was also touched by PTF. As a matter of fact there is hardly no Faculty at the University of Lagos that was not touched in one way or the other by PTF.

I have lived and worked in the ND and a good part of the SE. PTF signature, obviously looking old, is never a scarce commodity in any of this region. GEJ/PDP has been in power for 12 years what have they added to Uniport existing infrastructures for instance? Nothing! Why has renovation of an all-important Benin-Ore road suddenly become a rocket  science to the looting family of PDP?

I dare u all haters to visit Uniport and carefully search for PTF signatures on all the buildings, facilities, laboratory equipment and vehicles.

Even in Bonny Island where I served, General Buhari brought his PTF signature big time. Almost all public service buildings as at 2006 have PTF signatures emblazoned on them. What Federal project has the PDP government implemented since PTF in Bonny? Nothing as usual.

No amount of  campaign of misrepresentation and calumny will slow down the BB Train of Positive Change. Victory is assured come April and all looters/killers/bombers can start going to Dubai cos UK and US wont allow you.

If that is all you see in GEJ campaign strategy then you have not seen anything and you go need lens. Where were u when GEJ was alleged by Pat to be using 100 million Naira daily to fund his campaign? GEJ has bribed PDP delegates, bribed Okada, bribed musicians, bribed Nollywood actors and actresses;that is the only thing his campaign rely on. The first Lady was dolling out money like pancake today, another furtherance of the strategy. The only place GEJ, throughout his rally, has been received with popular showing was in Port-Harcourt and that was even when many lives have been lost.

If by "North" you mean the North West with its 19 million voters, then fine. However, the North constitutes the North West, North East and North Central and collectively they have 39 million voters. I've been around many of these northern states and I can tell you categorically how different Taraba is from say Zamfara or Kebbi.
Taraba, Adamawa, Plateau, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Nassarawa and Southern Kaduna all belong in the same North. But they would be handing their support over largely to Jonathan and the PDP.
If you want to know how strong PDP is in the South West, ask yourself how come such a large crowd of South Westerners went out to welcome Bode George on his arrival from prison. Or how come patience Jonathan was able to attract such a large crowd in her Ibadan rally. Or how come so many of the people vehemently supporting Jonathan both here on Nairaland and facebook are south westerners.
This election would be toughly contested but the opposition would loose for their failure to build very effective campaign structures.
Bros keep dreaming. The same places Jonathan was stoned and hated like shit.

Taraba may have a relatively large xtian population but that does mean automatic n absolute support for Jonathan. As a matter of fact they have never voted against a Northern interest or tried to "stand-away" from d "North".

As for Adamawa in spite of PDP dirty antics and efforts to curtail the Buhari's wind of change. 1000s of supporters followed him from the main city where they were denied a campaign ground walking for hours, sweating under the sun to the outskirts of the town where joyfully listen to their Hero. The pictures are everywhere for you to see. Jonathan was also in the same Adamawa, show me the picture and lets compare.

Benue is even not going the PDP way considering the popularity of ACN and his candidates. They have practically overshadowed the presence of PDP as d ruling party in the state. And Buhari has always had good showing here he will still corner considerable votes.

Kwara is in a firm control of Oloye (a veteran Buhari friend and supporter)

Niger state is for Buhari come rains come sunshine.

Nassarawa we all know Jonathan story in the hands of angry Talakawas

In the Southwest while all of you GEJ apologists are dreaming we agents of change have been winning converts in 100s everyday. GEJ, as the incumbent, could not even pull a decent crowd. ACN are definitely going to win highest number of votes in the SW hinterlands. Jonathan called them rascals we have been reminding them. He has been celebrating the ones they hate, we remind them. He has been decorating killers we also remind them. He did not deem it fit to debate before them. The Lagosians are well-educated, in love with Fashola kind of performance, which Jonathan is a complete opposite of.

I am a regular visitor to Jonathan's facebook page. Post the recent posts on his page if u are sure of his popularity.

Change is coming to Nigeria to sweep away all looters, killers and their apologists away.,.,.,
