Owngoal don carry another news say former Cameroon afcon winning coach Schaafer have been appointed as Super Eagles new coach 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

74 year old Wilfred Schaefer to be unveiled as new Super Eagles coach. This man should have retired from coaching.

NFF is indeed a joke!

talk am reach next week I no gree

Boniface is more like a Zirkzee kinda player ie CFs that are skillful, can play any where upfront as well as drop deep to create opportunities for his team mates

He isn’t forceful and bullish like Adriano. Adriano was a menace to defenders during his prime

Also the Brazilian had more pace

Lookman was not mincing words when he mentioned Boniface as one of the skilful players in the Super Eagles. He just has to work extra hard on his finishing and he will be a weapon of mass destruction.

NFF should please leave Eguavoen to qualify this team for AFCON and world cup. He has started the AFCON qualifiers and Egu has an understanding with the players. Give Egu a contract please.

@elyte can work as 3rd assistantgrin

This is super eagles best game since after the afcon but luck wasn’t on our side.

AE should be given the job permanently cus I foresee him even doing more with this team

Eguavoen should always bring Iwobi in first half and Bashiru second half. He should also stop fielding only Ndidi in that midfield, add Onyeka. 3-5-2.

Finidi was on a mission to destroy the super eagles and bring disunity among the players…

Imagine keeping Lookman on the bench , not inviting Ekong and telling lies against osimhen’s commitment to the team

But it seems the NFF are the ones who made him do it. Now he became the scape goat

Competition for every position should be encouraged it enables the best to be selected.

Okoye should play and so should Nwabili and let the best play , number one is not a permanent fixture.

Hmmmm....
Na we don dey select who go be number 1 keeper?
I remember when we were doing try - and - error after Carl Ikeme was diagnosed for leukemia.

September, 8 2025 World Cup Qualifying South Africa vs Nigeria

October, 6 2025 World Cup Qualifying Lesotho vs Nigeria.

October, 13 2025 World Cup Qualifying Nigeria vs. Benin.

Since we are familiar with our foes, qualifying for world cup 2026 might just be possible. Also, South Africa, Benin, Rwanda and Zimbabwe are known for drawing games so one way or the other, they will cancel themselves out. If we can win all our 6 world cup qualifying matches, we would have a total of 21 points. Hopefully South Africa will meet Benin at home and away and possibly draw the two games. We just need to be focused with every game we play.

If Faith Omilana did well in the match against Venezuela, then she should start against Japan. If Aminat Bello did well in the no 9 role yesterday, then she should play there. Chris Danjuma must get it right against Japan.

Nigeria will meet Japan at round of 16.They will take the second position from group D. They will meet group E winners Japan.

But you know that Germany are currently down to South Korea 0-1. If we can beat Venezuela by 9 or 10 unreplied goals we might just top that group
