TheSuperNerd: It is sadly what it is.
So #Vision2027 it is starting with screening talents and conducting MRI tests for talents now that will be no older than grade IV 17y/o by 2027 WC. Preparing early ahead of the 2026 WafuB is key. E no hard! Prep should start now. But Nerdie, I think this WAFU B U17 regional or zonal qualifiers format should really be revisited ooo. Since there are seven teams that make up this zone, why not play it like a league system like the way it is done in South America. The top two teams qualify instead of splitting them into 2 groups. This system tire me abeg. NFF should do something. So that is how players like Ugochukwu Edeh and co will just go unnoticed. Na wa oo |

TheSuperNerd: FIFA U17 WC kicks off today.
SA U17 beat Bolivia 3-1
Senegal U17 played 0-0 vs Croatia
Morocco U17s losing 0-2 to Japan U17 with 79mins played. Looks like the Moroccan sit-back and hit on counter pattern isnt working or hasnt been well mastered by the Atlas Cubs. Can't just believe that Nigeria u17s will miss two editions of this tournament? Chai.... NFF don do us strong thing ooo |

QueenJazz: I think Chelle should bring in Ahmed Musa and pair him with Osimhen to trouble the Gabon defense. Lookman doesn't have much experience compared to Musa. Moses Simon can continue on the right wing and do his thing.
Also we need Ekong to start. His pace and trickery will be very instrumental to stopping attacks from Bouanga and Aubameyang. Abeg, abeg, abeg. Ekong that scored own goal in his club loss yesterday? |

Predator87: Is Nguemo of Cameroonian ancestry?? Never heard a Nigerian bear that name. Good player tho. The new Goalkeeper looks good too. Why coach Bankole benched them vs Canada befuddles me. I hope they improve in the next match. That Nguemo girl and Oduntan girl are both ballers. |

PDPGuy: The Flamingoes will face North Korea in the round of 16 on Tuesday…Good luck to them 🤣
Coincidentally, the Super Falcons take on Benin on the same day at 4pm, while the Flamingoes game kicks off 4 hours later. Zambia are 2 goals up against New Zealand at halftime. If it stands like this, they qualify and we will face Italy in next round. |

The Flamingoes U17 team will play Samoa today. If they can beat Samoa by 3-0 or 4-0, they qualify for next round to either face North Korea or Italy. Goodluck to them |

Back to the use of calculators. We need to beat Samoa convincingly to qualify and hope that Ivory Coast and Zambia lose/draw their last matches against Spain and New Zealand respectively. |

aicon4s: So embarrassing.
This Canadian team is at best average. Our own team is so disorganised. A far cry from the performance we presented just a year ago. Where did the coach pick this bunch from? The only recognisable person their is Shakirat Moshood. Where is Chidi Harmony? I thought she was 15yrs old last year? That keeper sef na wa. What happened that last year set were not retained? |
