Here are view of the advantage: 1. It reduce the numbers of worker needed to be hire for planting. With the planter the you need just one person to perform the duties of 4-5 labourer. 2. It makes the work faster, with less stress. 3. It reduce waste of seeds, as it plant with high precision. 4. Using the planter made u have uniform germination as the planting deep is uniform. 5. You get uniform spacing within and btw the rows, here by gives u room to calculate ur plant population. Expect more soon.
AgricultureRe: Agritropic New Product: Precision Seeder And Tsukill. by Soloxam(op):
Tsukill Demo:

Tsukill is an insecticide which attract and kill a destructive insect called fruits fly. These fly are very destructive that if not put in check/control will damage 45% of your harvest.
The life cycle of these destructive insect start from laying eggs, the eggs will not survive if layed where it can not feed on. These insects find/locate a younger fruit to lay her eggs so that the eggs can feed from ur fruits, hence the eggs develop/change into maggot and the maggots causes great damage to our fruits.
Don't be surprise in most cases when u open ur orange, tomatoes, cucumber, watermelon, pawpaw you find maggot inside, it the hand work of the destructive fruit fly.

With Tsukill in ur farm this is what it dose.
Tsukil will attract the fruit fly and kill the fly within 3min.

At flowering stage, get blocks of tsukill, put the block inside a perforated container as shown below, hang it in a strategies locations in your farms. The tsukill will attract the destructive fly, as the entres the container, within some view min the flys will drop dead..

ADDVATAGE OF TSUKILL.

It does not required any extra labour as the substance it hang @ a location, hence no repeated spraying say weekly or every 2 weeks.
If you have a plantion like citrus or papaya, I wonder how it will be continent to spray against this insect as it will require u to climb the trees before appling the insecticide, with Tsukill u done need to bother yourself climbing, just hang it at a location the fly will come them self and get killed.

This day when every one mind what He/she eat, with Tsukill the consumers who eat ur product are safe because u don't need to spray any chemical substance on your fruits in preventions against the insects.

Tsukill as well reduce cost of labour/production...

With Tsukill, you eat safe............

You ve said it all.
Get trained, get experience. Learn from experience farmers.
Its baffled me on daily basis when the first thing that intending farmer ask is what they can get per acre in naira within 2 months.
No practical experience, no learning process. You see them later come to Nairaland searching for emergency solutions.
Yes. Agriculture is profitable but one has got to learn the rope.
There is no short cut in agric.

mercylicious:
it rained yesterday arnd 5pm in anambra. nt heavy though, bt enough to wet d ground.
One can not really predict rain fall this year, last two week I was travelling to Asaba, when I got to Edo I notice it rain a night before that morning, with what I saw it was very heavy, I was happy that at least it will rain in Asaba, by the time I got to Agbor it was some thing else the soil were so dry. On getting to Asaba, I asked my guy over there said it has not rain for months. Just imagine the intensity of sun just like that of the north....
We have many work to execute now rain is holding us.... God shower your rain.........

noblefarm:
Wow, marvelous. But nwannem, I have over 200plots (30acres) of land to farm on, tried cassava last year but the price of cassava now is not encouraging and I can't plant cucumber on all the land. What else can you advise me to go into that can give me good returns.
thanks
oga what else to plant is not the issue, I think u still have a lot of research to do
1 Study ur area and know which agric produce is in high demand.
2 Try and have basic knowledge on how to produce this crops
3 Lastly sir u have to experiment the crop/crops on a small scale until u get them right...... sir I think a mistake was made already, but can be corrected, leasing such area of land (30 acre) was a big error without having tangible things to plant, but the worse is when u later plant on it and ur are the mercy of the buyers that won't be interesting at all.
So I think u can do or home work and reach a good conclusions. Best of luck.
