I really don't find joy going to church anymore like I used to do. Despite living with a pastor... I'm always at home after they've left for church, masturbating. Whenever I'm done I always hate myself and I've always promised not to go back into it but seems it's not what I can control myself.

Please matured minds only. I've never been a saint but I've not always been like this either. Throughout this year I've been to church like 5 times and I really want to change but just don't know how to.

What do you do for a living? Because if you are jobless, it is a fertile ground for masturbation. Try engaging yourself in something meaningful and that catches your interests. Your interests may be reading, hanging out with friends and family etc. Also, avoid any material or movie that may want to arouse you sexually. Stay clear from every form of pornography. Engage your mind in thinking of how to improve yourself mentally. Above all, ask the Holy Spirit for help.
As for not going to church, it's a trick of the devil to completely ruin your spiritual life.Stay close to God and build up your spiritual life. It will help you a lot. Stay Blessed.
