HealthHow To Drink Garri In This Season Of Lassa (PHOTO) by soludo93(op): 3:17pm On Feb 02, 2016
I have discovered a way to drink Garri this Lassa season.
1. Put the garri in a dry frying pan/pot.
2. Place it on the fire and allow it to fry for 10mins so that the heat will kill the Lassa virus.
3. Pour the garri out on a wide tray & allow it to get cold. Make sure ur eyes are on the garri to avoid the virus coming back cos if it does hmmmm, e go worse pass the 1st tym oh.
4. Put the garri on a plate and add the necessary (sugar, salt, glucose, powder, honey, milk, Milo, groundnut, aki, water etc). This is strictly base on ur choice but if u want to add all, no problem.
Then ur delicious and tasty drinking garri is ready for consumption...
Thank me later...

Christianity EtcThe Focus Of The Gospel by soludo93(op): 9:53pm On Jan 18, 2016
Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”Matthew 24:1-2 NKJV

When God started with his people, he didn't ask them to build a temple. God's plan has always been to live and work in us. A time came when the emphasis shifted from human being to physical structure. So, they began to build great edifices, beautiful architectural designs and wonderful state of art structures.

The conversations of disciples revolve around buildings of the temple not how their lives were transformed by following Jesus and learning at His feet. They felt that Jesus would be impressed to see beautiful structures that they built for God. Sorry, God does not live in manmade structures.

Often time I receive invitations to attend churches, I tried to listen to what's the focus of their invitation. It's always about the buildings, how you would become very rich by associating with them. Some would say 'in our church, we don't talk about dressings because this gospel is all about the heart.' Did God take the heart and left the body for satan to destroy?

Even when Jesus came to the temple, he had no space there. They had turned the structures to a place of merchandise. Some were buying while others were selling. That's the temple; a place of secular business. At a time Jesus began to drive them away, 'this is the house of my father, it ought to be a house of prayer but you have turned it to a den of thieves.'

They turned the temple from a place of making men to a place of making money. Even the gospel no longer pricks the heart of sinners; it excites and exalts them. Holiness takes cue behind prosperity and gradually, the focus of men are shifting from eternity to things that we can grab from this world.

God is looking for men and women who will lift their holy hands and sing:
My body is Your sanctuary
My body is Your sanctuary
Lord purify me like gold
So that I may be bold to say
My body is Your sanctuary.

Christianity EtcThe Spirit Of Gehazi by soludo93(op): 12:05pm On Jan 17, 2016
But Gehazi, Elisha's servant, said to himself, "My master shouldn't have let this fellow get away without taking his gifts. I will chase after him and get something from him. 2 King 5:20 TLB.

Gehazi was a servant of Elisha, the foremost prophet of Israel at his time. Elisha had served Elijah with utmost dedication and diligence that he became doubly anointed. Gehazi was next in line to inherit the spirit of the prophet but his greed came in between him and his destiny.

Some of the prosperity charade being peddled at the pulpits is actually the manifestation of the spirit of Gehazi concealed with the gospel of Christ. There are many Gehazi carrying the Bible and proclaiming themselves as worldwide evangelists. That they look for scriptural verses to gather around their greed does not mean that God approved it.

Gehazi misrepresented Elisha in extorting Naaman, so do these men misrepresent Christ in raiding the congregation of Christ. God's grace upon their ministries is an avenue to extort and exploit unsuspecting members of their Church.

In rejecting Naaman's gift, Elisha pulled himself backward and presented God as the healer. However, Gehazi's greed won't let him discern the move of the spirit. It's economically expedient that he pounce at every opportunity to make money even at the detriment of his master's image.

Paul warned Timothy in 1Timothy 6:5 to keep away from men who use the gospel as a vehicle for making money. Those men are servants of mammon. You call them big men of God but God sees them as big servants of Mammon. They are specialists in taking you to the pinnacle of the temple to show you the beauty of this world. They will make you love this world and every good thing in it. When your heart is fully engaged with covetousness, they exploit your vulnerability using the name of God.

Sisters could clad like prostitutes because the focus of Gehazi isn't the spiritual welfare of his members but their social status. He daily load them with financial tricks, then use 'giving' as conduit pipe to connect their pockets to his treasury. The primary purpose of church service isn't to save sinners and equip the saints but to count offerings and numbers. So, you could have a congregation of 1000 spiritually blind members being led to destruction by Gehazi.

Beware of Gehazi! The standard of God hasn't been lowered to accommodate offerings of sinners. "You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.Psalm 51:16-17 NIV."

Christianity EtcWhose Interest Do You Represent? by soludo93(op): 4:43pm On Jan 16, 2016
Wherefore of these men which have companied with us ... must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. And they appointed two... Barsabas, ... and Matthias. And they prayed, ...and they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.Acts 1:21-26 KJV

Notice that it was Peter who wanted the twelfth apostle at this moment, not God's instruction. So many people are zealous for other men, thinking that they are serving God. They started a planned ministry, planned Church expansion and brought men into it using the name of God.

The qualification for an apostleship according to Peter's standard is in sharp contrast from Christ's appointment of Paul as the twelfth apostle. Peter wanted an experienced and a technical member of his company but Christ appointed a novice but sincere Paul to replace Judas Iscariot.

The method of making Mathias an apostle was by casting lot. They actually prayed to foist spirituality into their planned physical method. They made it look like God was involved. Mathias became an apostle by calculated social expediency, Peter was so conscious of their identity as 'the twelve apostles' that he forgot the instruction of Jesus Christ to wait until the Holy Spirit comes and give instructions on what to do.

So Peter and his friends cast lot and chose from 'these men.' There was still spiritual vacuum for the twelfth apostle even though Mathias was physically made to seat there. Some of you are assistant pastors, choir leaders, prayer or evangelism coordinators but lack the grace to function. That is because you are a product of calculated human effort. Even though you live in secret sins while leading a body of Christ, you still retain your post because God was never involved in putting you in that position.

To be a usable tool in God's quiver, you must first be sanctified and be prepared for master's use. Being a technical Christian won't help. Learning Pentecostal slangs and using denominational rhetorics won't get you any close to experiencing the life of Christ. Your zeal and financial commitments are futile efforts because the instruction hasn't changed from 'seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness... Mathew 6:33.'

Business7 Reasons Why New Business Fails by soludo93(op): 11:42am On Jan 09, 2016
These are the key factors - if not avoided - will weigh your business down and possibly sink it.

1. You started business for wrong reasons.
If you start a business because you want to make money, have more time for your family or so you won't be answerable to anybody, it is most likely that the business will fail. You should start a business because you have passion, drive, determination, patience and a positive attitude towards the business.

2. Poor Management
Poor management is number one reason why business fails. A successful manager is also a good leader who creates a work climate that encourages productivity. A good leader is also skilled at strategic thinking; able to make a vision a reality; and able to confront change, make transitions and envision new possibilities for the future.

3. Insufficient Capital
A common fatal mistake for many failed businesses is lack of sufficient operation fund. You must know how much your business requires; not just the cost of starting a business but also the cost of staying in business.

4. Location
A good business location will enable a struggling business to survive and ultimately thrive; but a bad location could spell disaster to even the best managed enterprise.

5. Lack of Planning
Without a careful, methodical, strategic planning and hard work, a new business is almost certain to fail.

6. Overexpansion
Do not confus success with how far you can expand your business. A focus on slow and steady growth is optimum. That does not mean you should repress growth but let your success help you set the right measured pace for business expansion.

7. No Website
Every business needs a website. With the growing number of internet users globally and subsequent increase in e-commerce sales, you need to put your business in the new face of human activity.

Uche Ekwunife Decamped From PDP To APC (Untold Story Behind The Move)
After an appellate court seating at Enugu nullified the mandate of erstwhile Hon. Uche Lilian Ekwunife representing Anambra Central Senatorial district, it was expected that the charming lawmaker returns to her constituency and canvass for support for the rerun election.

Iyom, as she is fondly called, is a tenacious woman who has succeeded in private sector where she rose to public services. A two term gubernatorial aspirant in Anambra State had twice represented the largest federal constituency in the lower house of the hallowed chamber before her ill-fated election into the senate.

Iyom Ugochinyeleze Nwata is a strong political force in Anambra State. She has a large grassroot support that political analysts are in agreement that Ekwunife would win the rerun election with even a wilder margin. That is why PDP caucus preferred her to every other candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial ticket. The party has a tactical way of imposing their preferred candidate on the masses. Such candidate may not necessarily go through the kangaroo primary election, which serves as a mere formality. That formality was completely ignored as the party caucus handpicked the elegant lady and presented her to INEC for April 2015 election. She won! Yes, should would win again but is she qualified to participate in the rerun?

If the election was nullified on the account of irregularities or violence, Ada Ugo Igbo would be able to stand for rerun but her mandate was revoked by appellate court on the account that she did not emerge through constitutionally recognized primary election. Therefore, she is not qualified to participate in the rerun.

WHY SHE LEFT PDP
Ekwunife announced at Akwa Ibom that she has joined the APC in the most unglamorous fashion considering that she represented PDP for past 8 years before Chief Umeh of APGA defeated her in the appeal court. Her sudden found love in APC is not farfetched. If it is not a reprisal action against PDP that did not provide sufficient support in the appeal court, then she may voluntarily wants to aide Senator Ngige to return to the hallowed chamber and get back at Chief Victor Umeh.

HealthHealth Benefits Of Rice And Beans by soludo93(op): 7:55am On Jan 06, 2016
Rice and Beans is our traditional food combination in this part of the world. They could be combined and prepared in the same pot or prepared separately and combined before eating. The popular combination is a source of protein and provides part of your daily vegetable and grain requirement. However, eating only beans and brown rice can lead to nutritional deficiencies. Beans and rice, make a complete protein when eaten together, that is, one that contains all of the essential amino acids present in protein. While beans and rice, individually, are low in certain types of essential amino acids, each offers what the other lacks. Brown rice, as a whole grain, and beans, regardless of type, are high in dietary fiber, which provides bulk to your diet. Both have a number of health benefits. Dietary fiber can help reduce constipation, as well as lower blood cholesterol levels. In addition to protein, beans and rice also help you reach your daily grain and vegetable intake. Beans are unique in this sense, as they count as a member of the protein group as well as the vegetable foods group. While beans and rice is a healthy food choice, especially if you keep the added sodium and fat content low, eating only beans and rice will lead to other nutritional deficiency.

Career5 Simple Steps For Creating A Beautiful 2016 by soludo93(op): 3:49pm On Jan 04, 2016
New years come with fresh expectations. Individuals, cooperate organizations and governments have set of objectives, targets and budgets for 2016. Many singles want to get married while students want to pass their exams with good grades. Entrepreneurs want to expand their ventures, whereas civil servants placed their hope on job promotions. Everyone has something positive that he/she wants to see in his or her life.
Each expectation comes with corresponding demands. There is something that you must do to create your expectations. If you are persuaded by a sense of luck, favour or faith without work, then you are likely to be disappointed at the end of this year. Favour or luck sometimes elevates a man, but none of them is a platform or yardstick for creating a fortune in life. 2016 is load with many expectations, however, you must consciously create your 2016 experience. It would be dangerous to let everything happen to you by chance.

How to create 2016 experience:
1. Isolation: The first step is to isolate yourself from the crowd. You could be crowded by social media, events and or people at workplace. Each of these populations robs you of self reflections by keeping you busy with conventional routine. The danger here is that you won't be able to take stock of your life at any point and censor unnecessary luggage that are weighing you down.

2. Reflection: There are certain things that happened to you in the past, which were avoidable. You need to reflect on your successes, failures and general issues that shaped your life till moment. Look at your job, friends and business colleague and observe the role each had played in bringing you to the kind of life you now live. You are the one wearing the shoe, do not let anyone tell you where it pinches.

3. Vision : vision here means having a mental picture of 2016. Where do you see yourself at the end of this year; as an employer of labour, entrepreneur, inventor, merchant, professional consultant etc. You must deliberately picture yourself at a position higher than where you are at the moment. This is not about comparing yourself to another person but consciously setting your eye at a level you would be proud of by December 2016.

4. Question: there are two imperative questions that you must answer to create a future that you would enjoy.
a.) Why was I not there at the moment? Probably, your vision is to be an author, why haven't you written a book till now? You need to find out why you are not at a point where you desire to be at the end of 2016. If you answer sincerely & correctly, you will discover what actually stopped you in the past. Then you plan how to overcome them in 2016.
b.) What must I do to get there? There is always what to do to create a better you. You can't afford to build your life on things happening by chances. That could be suicidal. Every vision comes with a corresponding work that must be done. It is not just doing any kind of work but the one that directly or indirectly push you to your desired destination.

5. Action: not all your activities should be conducted in isolation. You must come out of your hiding to implement your inspiration and take your resolve to work. You must breakdown your vision to a point where you can start now. Don't say until April or June or October. No! It doesn't work that way. There may be phases of implementations but your program must contain the little you can do now. You must also map out stages of periodical evaluation. It will help you to get there in good time.
Happy new year!
