Lol seems our falcon's GK is related to Akpeyi lol.

Caught ball outside the box..

Not as obvious as that of Akpeyi though.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by somehow: 8:18pm On Apr 06, 2018
Half field things.. we're sitting back and waiting to counter just as the male counterpart.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by somehow: 8:18pm On Apr 06, 2018
The French girls are tall, big and fast too. We're matching them so far.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by somehow: 8:17pm On Apr 06, 2018
2 corners kicks to France, 1 to us.

The girls are actually trying but too many fouls from them.

His agent is actually a relative. infact when you check that space, it has 'relatives" as agent name. he should get a known name or something of sort to manage him.
Martz101:
I'm a Nigerian and I love to see Nigeria player do well, so I wish he get playing time, but then again our player find it difficult making good choice
PoliticsRe: Smart Cole: "Buhari’s Security Nearly Killed Me!!" by somehow: 4:46pm On Apr 06, 2018
Does he have security men to clear roads and way for him?
Awoofawo:
And seventy something years old (probably more) is not too old to be Nigeria President?!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 2:15pm On Apr 06, 2018
You never can tell, maybe his luck will shine there.
Martz101:
If what you said about Girona is anything to go by then he will also fail in shakhtar because they are scoring already before he was signed and there C.F. facunda ferreyra has 19 goals in 24 matches.

And there style of play wont accommodate them both, but you never can tell
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 2:11pm On Apr 06, 2018
maybe if we had or have a scoring Ighalo, Rohr having to be combing Europe for a striker wouldn't have risen.
Martz101:
once again I dont like kayode that much but the reason for option is not to have like for like, Giroud is different from lacazette, higuen is different from aguero,

Having another striker like Ighalo won't help us I believe
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 2:09pm On Apr 06, 2018
As in the players connived not to pass to him? okay o cheesy
forgiveness:
I saw those matches with my two korokoro eyes. You can see the bitter expression on Kayode’s face in the last match he played for Girona.

That was the match that made him requested for a move to another club.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 2:09pm On Apr 06, 2018
Yea, that guy can score, especially with his head and against any kind of opponent! he was just unlucky and having to compete with someone performing.
Martz101:
not true bro, they bought him in the summer with a Uruguay striker Christian Stuani, they both started the season together, maybe he was unlucky to have a very good competitor, the dude already have 17 goals in 25 matches
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:52pm On Apr 06, 2018
Well the coach just does not like him, that's my only conclusion.
forgiveness:
Yes, he has.

In Girona-fc he played as SS, Winger and CF.

It was in the game he started as a CF he had 2 assists and won MOTM but surprisedly or ironically, he was dropped in the next match.

He totally dominated the game.

Even in one of the matches he can in as a SS, Kayode was a beauty to behold.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:51pm On Apr 06, 2018
Seems an Utility player to me, dunno why the coach isn't looking his way.
forgiveness:
What do you mean by prime?

Is it age wise or performance wise?

Abdul Ajagun has contributed 12 goals in 21 games as an AMF this season. So, I don't think it's the question of performance.

Ajagun is 25 years old. I don't think it neither about age too.

Is there anything else?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:49pm On Apr 06, 2018
Marital issues maybe...
edi287:
Funny thing is he used to be a good finisher. Don't know what has happened to that part of his game.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:43pm On Apr 06, 2018
Abi o, it's only in Nigeria you see "poor people" be rejecting coins, yet crying that we have inflation.

Up till now, Oyinbo still dey spend coins, but we here dey claim say coins is rubbish.

We're quick to wave away a league that is more organized, rich and robust than us when it suits our argument forgetting that our numero uno in the midfield and frontline are in that same league grin
andrew444:
Even if Paulinho did not join Barcelona he was a gurantee starter for Brazil and assured of the World Cup,even witsel and Carrasco of Belgium nothing will stop them from going to the World Cup
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:38pm On Apr 06, 2018
Its his own 35 man list, lets have yours sir. cool
Kog45:
Gks
Uzoho
Ezenwa
Aiyenugba
Akpeyi
Alampasu/Okoye/Enyeama ...Why not Ajiboye cos Alampasu is not getting playing time, Enyeama too the same thing and Maduka lack the require experience so better to have one rookie which is Uzoho in the team.

Defenders
Balogun
Ekong
Shehu
Idowu
Ebuehi
Aina
Awaziem
Omeruo
Elderson.....Spot on

Midfielders
Mikel
Onazi
Ndidi
Joel Obi
Ogu
Etebo

Agbo...Rohr ?Ajagun should come in

Agu....Rohr ?Alhassan or Kelechi should come in

Ebere Eze

...I think Ajagun,Alhassan Muzzam and Kelechi Nwakili deserves a look in if you are considering Ebere Eze since we are having issue with AM,let them slug it out in camp and see who to deputise for Mikel.

Strikers
Iheanacho
Iwobi
Ighalo
Musa
V.Moses
S.Moses
Ideye
Kayode
Onyekuru
Bazee...on what criteria, why not Samuel Kalu

Dessers....is he better than Sadiq in Dutch league
.
Osimhen ...on what criteria, why not Awoniyi who is having playing time.

Pls why did you left out Awoniyi Taiwo,Sadiq Umar and Samuel Kalu if you are considering Osimhen,Dessers and Bazee.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:32pm On Apr 06, 2018
I weak jare, the way some people talk sometimes as if football started last year grin
Kog45:
Sir you are getting it wrong on Martins and Ighalo, pls give them little respect they deserves.

These guys did not start from Chinese league, better for you to look back before they moved to Chinese league.

Try and ask yourself why we couldn't get a good AM to slug it out with Mikel who also play in China.

Did you know Brazil qualification to WC involved China based players.

Sir you mixed things up that are not justifiable in analysing Martins and Ighalo and try to always balance things up.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:30pm On Apr 06, 2018
Yea, before he came they were scoring, so they surely didnt see sense in benching Stuanii for him, so they played him out of "position"?

I even heard from "forgiveness" that they deliberately didn't pay to him during play cheesy
Martz101:
Spot on, Girona is one of the highest scoring side in laliga bar real madrid and Barcelona
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 1:07pm On Apr 06, 2018
Has he ever played that position for US? Though he's said to play 3 positions, for Girona, he hardly played 9 when he was there or am i talking about someone else?
forgiveness:
Kayode thrived more as a striker not winger.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 12:53pm On Apr 06, 2018
Understand the point of discourse before jumping in, someone else warned you about this before, yet it seems you haven't learnt. just quoting people out of context.
Humility017:
I don't think there is need for this...
you can just go bring Martins out of injury...
and take him to the world cup....
keep whipping a dead horse..what's the need.

some of you talk here...as if the rest of us don't watch football....
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 12:49pm On Apr 06, 2018
WOW, what on earth are you saying? Netherland of all places? i can't type much oga grin grin grin grin grin grin grin Guy, i can't shoooout grin grin grin grin, i will let this pass.
Humility017:
I think you should say that to yourself...
if you think that Ighalo and Martins who could barely pass the mark of 20 goals a season despite the game time in a Chinese league with mediocre Chinese players....could do same in netherland then you have to think again....

I still remember how Wolfsburg under 23 team whipped mikel's team....during preseason...you can Google the Chinese teams preseason result with small European clubs to see how they were grossly beaten...and you think so old legs can replicate same performance of old in the dutch league....
you are currently living in the past....

the dutch league defenders might be very poor...but not as bad as those Chinese players......
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 12:48pm On Apr 06, 2018
In the context i spoke about him, he cant do what i would have wanted him in the SE for which is to deputise Ighalo. he cant hold up play like you already affirmed. he's also not with the presence of a fearsome CF like Lewandoski, Martins, Ighalo, Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Aguero etc...
Martz101:
in as much as I dont rate him that much but his a CF, every striker operate differently, not all strikers are good in holding up play.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 12:46pm On Apr 06, 2018
More to do with the choice of player the coaches went for, they actually didn't give him space or enough to hit the ground rolling, now that hes gone to Ukraine, lets see what he can do.
Martz101:
we dont know because they have not been tasted there, but kayode actually didn't do well in laliga. he could not get the starting role and didn't record a goal in laliga
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow:
We have enough players in his position (Wing) already, not that they are better than him per say but the coach just don't prefer him.
forgiveness:
You don't need the same type of players in a team. It must be varieties.

Kayode scored almost all his goals as a CF.
Modified: Since his actual position is CF, well the coach may not like his style then.
SportsRe: Patrick Mboma’s Overhead Kick For Cameroon, Before Ronaldo (Video) by somehow: 12:07pm On Apr 06, 2018
Ronaldo's B-kick is the easiest of all the B-kicks i have seen so far.

You doubt me?

check this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmTIRKFexJE

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Phillipe Mexes remain the masters of B-kick.
