Realistically we can win the worldcup. who believe we could have won the Olympic gold in 1994? what does it take to win? a willing, capable and determined team!
Oasis007:

It's good to aim higher, to be an Optimist but sometimes I do prefer to be a Realist. Have we got it right?! No! Are we on the right Track...... hopefully!

Sure we cant change from supporting the SE no matter who he picks but 4 years is too long to toy with this current one. worldcup no be moim moim, worldcup makes old men cry. our current squad look so united and alot expected from them. any silly decision can make or mar the chances of performing wonders.

There is nothing saying we cant win the worldcup. If Greece/Portugal could win the Euro cup against all odds, why not Nigeria?
South Korea ended up 3rd some years ago, why can't an African team achieve same or more?

Oasis007:
grin

....... but seriously I'm ain't much concerned with the Crisis, cos whoever Rohr picks should be ready to perform convincingly.

Nigerian Fans never forgive and forget, I'm only pitying the Rookies and hope they gonna seize the Chance when they get it.

Aiyenugba ain't bad for his Club, nor is he battling Psychological Problem while repping Naija Color, but he fumbled in a Match....... Nigerians ain't ready to forgive, forget and give him another Chance.

As a Fan, I'm gonna support the Team - regardless to whoever makes the final List, cos I'm a proud Nigerian. I hope they succeed in Russia.

I watched and there is no way Ezenwa won't make Russia except via injuries.
TheSuperNerd:
Thanks for watching Dad. You also saw how Mumini refused to stick out his neck to make a choice for Rohr.
But he did say an Ezenwa may be his preference only based on his recent competitive performances for the Eagles plus hr experience he garnered. But shaa.... Mumini hammers that Rohr must have seen something special in Uzoho to take the action he is taking by attaching Pionetti to him.

In all, Rohr's enigma... Na him go solve am. And I hope he solves it right.

He's way better than Ezenwa, watch his clips online and some PSL highlights.
Certitude:
What if he isn't really a good GK as you'd want us to see it... Remember the goal he conceded against Algeria was as a result of his poor positioning... I think there was an article where the Algerians said their coach brought their attention to that during the break. The guy and Ezenwa are in same level... They both have exceptional moments and different weaknesses.

godliman:
The most disgusting part of ths is when you have a govt without a moral compass to call off this nonesense. They can react when ppl criticise them on social media but are careless when the moral fabrics of society is torn to shreds. Nina or what ever they call her is a shameless and disgusting slut. She will soon return and resume singing in the choir. I pity her future husband. May be their audience made up largely of moral perverts will vote her for entertaining them. I weep for this country

From experience, the loss eh..

Imagine buying bitcoin when it was around $18k, its currently $9k now, some might have held onto it waiting for it to grow to $22k or more before selling, now that it dropped, some still have it licking their wound and waiting for it to return back to $18k just to break even.

4. Cryptocurrency
Many cryptocurrency enthusiasts liken the opportunity to blood money. You can make insane profit returns from your investment because the market is free from manipulations that is common with fiat money. However, what makes cryptocurrency profitable also makes it risky. All cryptocurrencies will not always be on green. Smart investors now diversify their portfolio such that if a coin is failing, another crypto investment is covering up for the loss. That way, they continually make profit or cut down their losses.

Every serious team have psychologists, his problem is not goal keeping, its psychological sir.
Oasis007:
Sorry...... I do not buy the Idea of sending him a Psychologist, coz that ain't gonna help but compound his Problem in GWG Shirt.

Do you know what the Papers Headlines will read if it happens that way?! Sending him a Trainer alone gonna be a huge help to him, cos having Rohr Confidence gonna definitely boost his Morale.

Bro..... I'm ain't suggesting Alloy Agu here, a foreign Trainer precisely who knows his Onions, cos psyching is part of the Responsibilities of a Professional GK Trainer.

No one is talking about how religious leaders are feeding fat on proceeds from corruption, they only care about the 'insult" from someone showing them the rot!

That is just what Akpeyi needs.... Very intensely deep psychological sessions with a rated shrink. His goalkeeping abilities are not in doubt. It is his low confidence level, poor comportment and "fear fear" jerks all in the GWG that make him look so and

TheSuperNerd:
Rohr, who recently deployed goalkeeper trainer, Pionetti Enrico to personally train Uzoho in Spain, ahead of World Cup friendly matches against Poland and Serbia next month, debunked insinuations that the step was to give the former Golden Eaglets save hands preferential attention ahead of other goalkeepers for the national team.

Rohr on Tuesday in a radio programme in Lagos, Megasport, ruled out the possibility of Uzoho automatically taking over the Eagles’ number one shirt without working for it, as he said the keeper is still very young and is now third choice in the roll call of shot-stoppers at Deportivo.

He further explained that similar attention will be given Portugal-based Dele Alampasu as well as the home-based duo of Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Ajiboye, adding that there is no automatic shirt for any player including the goalkeepers.

He said another trainer of the national team goalkeepers and ex-international, Alloy Agu has been assigned the duty to tinker Ezenwa and Ajiboye, while Enrico will soon travel to meet Alampasu.

Nigerian fans are, however, still worried, despite the array of goalkeeping options available to Rohr, that the department remains a grey area for the tactician who has also acknowledged its lack of depth.

Enrico, who joined the three-time African champions six months ago, has already started working on further developing the young Uzoho ahead of the global showpiece.

The former Golden Eaglets second choice, behind Alampasu at UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, has kept 10 clean sheets out of 14 matches for the Deportivo B side this campaign and has also played twice in the Spanish top-flight, making his bow against Eibar on October 15.

Rohr submitted: “Uzoho is working hard, but he is only third choice keeper at La Coruna, and very young. Let’s work on all our goalkeepers.

“We will give the same attention to Alampasu, Alloy Agu will work on the local lads as well. We will work equally with all the goalkeepers we have available, even with Daniel Akpeyi in South Africa.”

Russia 2018 WC Countdown: 106 days 4 hours 54mins to go
Why alloy Agu for the home based and African based goal keepers and oyibo (a better expert) for Uzoho?
Why wait this long before even considering Alampasu to be trained by the same oyibo goal keeper coach?

Systematic preferential treatment? Some of what he said here are just to save face jare, his actions are saying something else.

Alloy Agu of all people to train Akpeyi and Ezenwa? Akpeyi (the most experienced of them all) is not based locally so how will Alloy go train him? that man with no foresight? how and what can he teach Akpeyi psychologically? which goal keeper has he ever nurtured to a bit of perfection? i dey vex anytime i hear that name self. Abeg house make una no vex for my ranting o, just that i am a fan of goal keeping having been a goal keeper myself (not officially).

The best from the lot is what we want and anything short of that, Rohr, i and some Nigerians won't be happy with some of your actions so far.

Oasis007:
On the Goalkeeping Crisis. I think Rohr should have sent Trainers to both Akpeyi and Ezenwa instead of the Rookies. Akpeyi ain't a bad Keeper - for his Club he's superb, hence he should be psyched to get the Confidence of replicating Club forms in GWG.
I was actually expecting Rohr to have sent a personal psychologist to Akpeyi to help him out instead of the decision he took on Maduka. Akpeyi is not bad when it comes to goal keeping but his lack of confidence and shaky shaking in the GWG uniform is his undoing. by now, we should have been hearing Akpeyi having extra sessions (therapy).

Amadu Pinnic should also help the guy out and Nigeria at large EXCEPT IF this is seen as interference on the coach's job/selection.

Actually their infrastructures are up to standard.. Maybe their people were made to be too lazy and govt dependant during the oil boom and Chavez's reign so adjusting overnight just couldn't happen.

That's what happens to countries that spend all their money subsidizing petrol to ridiculously low prices instead on investing in infrastructure and the people.
