oz4real83:
Do u know that there is a high level of corruption in china as we have in Nigeria although that of china is not openly done as in Nigeria because of the consequences? But when it comes to matters of development and goal-setting,the chinese govt and people put every other thing aside to achieve set goals. Every problem we have in Nigeria is as a result of leadership failures.

I doubt that of Alampasu.
Icon79:
Same difference. He hasn't watched Maduka closely either, so that's how he's sending somebody to monitor him. Unlike those two folks, Rohr already knows all the strength and weaknesses of Akpeyi, Ezenwa, and to some extent Alampasu. So I think he's making the right call here.

Uzohor was "singled out" because unlike Ezenwa, Akpeyi, and even Alampasu, Rohrs hasn't had a chance to work with him closely. However, since he showed promise in the friendly match, Rohr made a good decision by sending his assistant to give him a real tryout to determine whether he's the true deal. In addition, we don't have the resources to assign personal trainers to all the goalkeepers at the same time .... we only have one real goalkeeper trainer.

O pari
But another article just stated that he sent his assistant to go monitor/help Maduka in Germany. That makes it 2.

Anyways i pray we end up with the best from the lot by june.

And you, a product of a shithole with lack of self worth wouldn't mind joining the queue like you're going to one heaven somewhere.

same way your like are queuing to go to your heaven called America is the same way Britons, Americans and others are queuing to go to UAE (ARAB COUNTRY) for their VISA just to go enjoy life and earn good money that TAX and multiple taxation won't swallow, nor would someone enter thier children's school just to shoot down tens of kids.

Brian Idowu's spotkick was saved by the GK of Avangard Kursk which sent them out of the Russian cup.

The spotkick was damn poor.

Same with Aaron but he scored his.

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:06pm On Feb 27, 2018
Watched Brian Idowu, Aaron Samuel and Fegor Ogude against Avangard Kursk.

Barren draw. Idowu appeared solid, Idowu is a beast going forward but kept leaving spaces behind for swift counter attack from his opponent.

He's quite fast though, so he covered up in some cases. he will be a great asset in the GWG Jersey and will surely perform excellently well if Ogu is on the pitch to cover for him when bursting forward.

I saw why Aaron Samuel ended up a lonee, no bite even with the height.

Fegor and yellow cards are friends. The rawness in his play is like his shadow, follows him about.

Well I eventually raised it hehehe.

He mentioned 5 GKs but preferential treatment given to just one. E no good na.

See Alampasu suffering with no hope of playing first team football. BTW, can't Alampasu get a loan deal? What was he doing when his mates were busy moving in January? Can't he find some U21 clubs to join? He's tall and has the posture of a GK.. he shouldn't be wasting away o.

After worldcup, we're surely going to be having enough U25 goal keepers with experience and if I were him, I would have started the journey yesterday.
TheSuperNerd:
Ehen.... Berra... ki ta ki bia... na now you land. Honestly, I was expecting you to proceed to tackling Rohr's decision on why he will single out Uzoho alone and another angle to the discussion will be born... wink

And true... this one action (the Pionetti special session and his eventual report) may indeed speak volumes and the list for the march friendlies will speak even mightier volumes... because I suspect Rohr will bring in just Akpeyi, Ezenwa, and Uzoho. And the decision to see who becomes substantive no.1 begins in march for Gernot Rohr even though it seems he is prepping Uzoho for bigger responsibilities. Truth is, those friendlies will see Rohr have to throw in Uzoho again to check what he is preparing. So no guarantees dey yet.
On Ajioboye, maybe... just maybe he has an outside chance if he is named in the provisional squad (whenever that would be released)..

And yeah... for me ooo, I read thru every new article... what I don't read thru to 100% level are comments. I can skip several comments if I like but most certainly not comments containing news info. But news articles are my thing for sure... the banters and discussions are the bonus and fun parts for me.

Manchester United Midfielder Kehinde: I Want To Play For Nigeria At The World Cup?

https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/82846Kehinde.png

Manchester United U23 sensation Tosin Kehinde has 'presumably stated' he is good enough to play for the Super Eagles ahead of the World Cup despite the fact he has yet to make his first team debut for the Old Trafford outfit.

And the midfielder has every reason to be hopeful as Alex Iwobi played two matches for Nigeria's senior team against Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon in 2015 prior to his maiden appearance for Arsenal's main team.

Lagos-born Kehinde is inching closer to a competitive debut for United, having trained with the first-teamers this season.

''Of course I’d be elated to play at the World Cup, Playing at any level for Nigeria would bring me pride'' Kehinde supposedly told Soccer Assembly.

''But I believe in myself enough to know i can bring something great to the Super Eagles first team.''

On the chances of the Nigerian team at the 2018 World Cup, the Manchester United number 82 said : ''The Super Eagles have got a great chance at the World Cup.

''We have the youngest average age at the tournament so if we play with audacity, swag and confidence, anything can happen. I’m expecting great things.''

Tosin Kehinde has made ten starts and two substitute appearances for Manchester United's Reserves in the Premier League 2 this season, scoring one goal against Chelsea.

Yes, you stated that which gave birth to my statement on why it should be on Uzoho alone when we have issues with all the goal keepers available because i initially thought the report expected from the GK trainer was on all the GKs which is to inform Rohr's decision when it comes to positioning the GKs. maybe i confused you with the way i wrote it?

What i am simply saying is "one GK shouldn't have been singled out since he's not the only one needing some brushing up, Alampasu is even there". it makes it look like "preferential treatment" by this action has been picked already and might make the rest or some of them give up already especially the Instagram Alampasu lol. well if Uzoho end up coming out good, then its a risk worth the stress.

And Yes, i don't read everything, once i check the headline and it doesn't interest me, i skip it, not peculiar to me, you might be reading everything but i doubt everyone here does.

TheSuperNerd:
Na so. Reasons giver.... looolll... selective reading is what it is... if you dont read thru news articles how then would you stay informed of certain matters huh? All you will end up doing is asking questions that would have been answered in those articles sometimes... smh...

Rohr Keeps To His Promise : Amkar Perm Defender Brian Idowu Receives Nigeria Call-Up

https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/79992Idowu.png

Amkar Perm star Brian 'Abuja' Idowu is set to add to his solitary international cap for Nigeria's national team, with manager Gernot Rohr inviting him for the upcoming Pre-World Cup friendlies against Poland and Serbia.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands Idowu is the only Amkar Perm player in contact with the Nigerian Federation, meaning Aaron Samuel and Fegor Ogude are set to be omitted from the list of invitees.

Idowu was part of Nigeria's 23-man squad for the friendly against Argentina on November 14, coming on at half-time as replacement for left-back Ola Aina.

The Saint Petersburg-born defender scored eight minutes into his debut to give Nigeria a crucial 3-2 lead against the two-time world champions.

The 25-year-old has played as a central defender, left back, left midfielder, right midfielder and right back for Amkar Perm in the Russian Premier League.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr earlier stated that Idowu will be part of his World Cup squad and will act as the Super Eagles interpreter as he speaks Russian language.

John Ogu, Chidozie Awaziem, Oghenekaro Etebo and Daniel Akpeyi are confirmed to be named to the roster that will be announced in the coming days.

I don't read all the articles posted here but i read comments (spot the difference?)

Are you saying what he knows about Ezenwa and Akpeyi is all that we are to work with while Uzoho gets to enjoy one on one training and drilling? To me, it seems only Uzoho is the target here and the expected report is solely on him and not on other goal-keepers.

Ezenwa got injured and we haven't heard anything concerning his injuries, meaning its his business to get fit and back to shape.

TheSuperNerd:
I suppose the case of your "selective reading" theory made you miss out on the Pionetti report article I dropped here couple of pages ago. Looooollll.... wink Gotcha mister... cheesy

Anyway, yes... Toyin specifically spoke on the Pionetti report with respect to Uzoho as the crew has good knowledge of Ezenwa already and also Akpeyi from the competitive games they featured in plus the friendly Akpeyi starred in.

The GK conundrum continues... let the friendlies come and let the best "risk" win.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 12:02pm On Feb 27, 2018
Is his report on all 5 GKs or on just Uzoho?
TheSuperNerd:
Remember that Toyin Ibitoye, the team's media officer made it clear that Rohr awaits the final report of Pionetti on Uzoho after this whole special arrangement is over. Rohr will take Pionetti's reports very seriously. I believe Pionetti won't have a problem at all being open with his choice on the Eagles goalie role. We can only hope for the best as Rohr does his best to give us the best.

You didn't explain how you do it. Do you use earpiece for the phone call while chatting with the 2 free hands and at the same time writing with that same 2 hands or you do them at intervals?

Same goes with the cooking, do you put all the food on fire at the same time or you cook one at a time? You have 3 cooking gas you use in cooking at a go or you cook all with one cooking gas?

MissJoy29:
I did it just day before yesterday. I was on a call, chatting on whatsapp and also replying mails. I will also be watching TV, be on a call, while writing notes at the same time. I'm too hyperactive to do just one thing at a time. I don't know whether it's a good or bad trait.

Same with cooking. On a normal day, I cook 3 types of soup, plaintain porridge, tomato puree and sometimes, pepper soup. And lest I forget, all these will be done within 3/4 hours. And I will handle the preparations alone.

Hope I have answered you.
