Apart from English and Spanish, what are the other languages spoken in the US in communities? tbaba1234: The US is surrounded by spanish speaking so ofcourse Spanish is popular. But if you have a community dominated by another language, that language assumes a more important status than Spanish.
There is bit of flexibility in that regard. |

Thank you jare for saving me from typing.. Mujtahida: Even though India was partitioned and Pakistan was formed, India still has more than TWO THOUSAND ETHNIC GROUPS. As regards religion, India is also highly diversified because although Hinduism is one of the major religions, the Hindu pantheon contains more 330 million gods and goddesses with everyone having the liberty to choose which god or goddess to worship and serve. In fact one can choose different gods and goddesses for different aspects of one's life. Officially India has nine religions - Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Zoroastrianism, Jainism, Christianity, Judaism, Sikhism and Baha'i faith. In Nigeria just perhaps 500 ethnic groups, three official religions abi two sef Yet India is working at least better than Nigeria. Nigeria is not as complex as India.
Indonesia has 300 ethnic groups. Yet it works just fine. Very fine sef.
Our problem is not tribalism per se. It's a certain kind of retrogressive mentality cloaking itself as tribalism. I just had to chip this in |

sick nation run by sick people. imagine fighting guns with more guns. The country is very unsafe for even animals. Alexk2: As long as lisgislations aren't put in place to effectively put guns away from the street, mass murder isn't likely going to stop. You can't ever eat your cake and still have it. Arm the teacher's and see even teachers turning against their students. In America, freedom has been over abused in the way they apply it.

Enough lang and these arent the only countries with multiple languages or ethnic groups. and there is no country without one form of prejudice against some part or set of people within that country. India is more developed than Nigeria Pakistan's issue is religious and the country was kinda big in the first place, carving out Pakistan not a biggie, USSR had its own share and up till now, some states in America are asking for independence. Bottomline, if you have a unifying factor like some of these countries, you will have less of ethnic, religious and regional conflicts/segregation. (My point). Nigeria currently do not have what is generally accepted as a unifying factor. safarigirl: how many languages does India have?
India that still has a caste system, the darker you are, the lesser your opportunities in life.
There are over 300 languages in Nigeria. How can you compare?
Do you know that India and Pakistan were one a nation? Do you know what split them? Religion. The Pakistani side was Muslim and then there was Buddhist India. That was enough for a split
In Nigeria, we are divided upon lines of ethnicity, language and religion. Show me any nation as complex as ours in this world that has worked |

US have 2 languages. Indian filled with languages too Same wtih China, yet they are growing. It goes beyond language. forgiveness: The major unifying factor of a nation is Language. The major dignifying factor is multiple language language.
God self knows hence he disunified mankind through language. Gen 11 vs 7. Oyinbo self no this hence the the amalgamation of Nations to form countries which is bringing confusion.

Agu in a 23 man list? Is Agu even likely to make the 23 man list in the first place? Loogan: We don't have any AM good enough to do the job apart from mikel, so he would not be affecting an AM but a DMF. Out of the DMs Agu looks the most likely to lose a place, etebo's dynamism is crucial. |

To the detriment of which AM? Loogan: Box to box or left/right attacking midfielder. The position will enable him run like he likes to, attack, shoot and it would fit his defensive contribution. Thereby limiting his weakness in terms of creativity. With his recent performance he's improved on his creative side greatly. I would not rule him out of the AMF role, one bad game dosent mean he can't do it. He would prove doubters wrong like Awaziem. |

Either will an an Hausa man who was born and raise in Anambra win a councilor ship post there. we have no identity as a unit for now so it will continue. Until we have one major factor that unites us more than our ethnic affiliation, this won't change. America have one unifying factor which is to be great and remain a world power as long as possible and that alone succeeds who you're as a person as long as you are fit to make this factor a reality. komekn: This is at the heart of the Nigerian problem irrational support for indegenes even when they are fleecing yoi dry.
