Presido95: I got from the UK immigration website. Seems people with Canada visa do not need transit visa. So you should be fine. Thank you. An agent said that since Covid BA requires transit visa if you have a visitors visa. Thank you again for clarification |

Good evening everyone, please for those that have travelled and are in Canada, Must one be fully vaccinated at least 14 days before your planned date of travel to Canada? I plan to take the second dose of vaccine on Monday, should I wait after 14 days of taking it to arrive? |

mastersammy: Yes that's true that there is low visa approval for applicant in naija going for 1yr program, although the fact is not proven and no evidence to back it up but I've not seen anyone who have gotten approval using 1yr program, just saying from my own view.
Incase if you don't know, 1yr program has it's disadvantages and one of them is, if an applicant manage to get a visa with 1yr program, at the end of the one yr program, the applicant will be given 1yr Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) but if it's 2yrs program it will beget 3yrs PGWP. Another disadvantage associated with 1yr program is, the one year doesn't usually reach one year, if your giving 1yr program and your giving a visa, the duration of the visa will be 8months if I'm not mistaken or maybe 9months but it doesn't reach 1yr. So the choice is yours,if you choose to go for the 1yr then so be it For the visa, the visa is just for entry, what matters is the study permit issued at arrival, also even if the program is 9months the person will still get a One year PGWP. I stand to be corrected sha |

childgodly: Timeline!! Thank you all so much for all the help I’m a first time applicant and can testify that with this thread you can submit an application on your own. I think it’s worth mentioning that I didn’t submit NSE documents initially. I submitted them later via web form when I saw others getting NSE request and I didn’t get but nothing really changed after that. No ghost updates, no eligibility, nothing. I sent lots of mails with no answer, not even the generic ones. I already deferred so I will not be going till December but at least now I can start making the necessary preparations. Thank you all once again!!
P.s I don’t have a new LOA yet but when I get it what should I do? Should I just send it via webform? I tap into your testimony and I will share my testimony on this platform this week too. #May12 applicant too |
