Frankly I think the only reason why you guys are behind AG is because we are no longer contending tongue

Banderas, JM has won stuff with FC Porto so that new theory still falls flat on its face.

I agree we should support AG and stuff and forget JM. This is indeed difficult but I've done that . . . well almost tongue but how you guys can say AG has performed is beyond me. What do you rate as performance for a team like Chelsea? If JM was in these shoes would you dare say he was performing? Hell, he would have been roundly and rightly criticized for below par performances and results.

Again JM had injury worries in attack that was why Terry had to go forward in those games wink

Once again need I remind you that Rosenberg beat Valencia both home and away, I think they are second in the group. wink

We had so much shots on target 26 to be exact that day. We pressed but as they say it was not our day. We were withough Drogba too. So it was not JM's fault.

Yes AG and TC deserve credit . . . with the new found popularity, higher pay, and man city as part of their new CV tongue

There is a direct relationship but it does not always hold and on this your theory falls flat on its face.

Your Theory - If a club invests in players, it is must win ALL competitions.

1. How many times has Real invested in players since 2001, what have they won?

2. Take ManU for example being the biggest investors for a long time in the premiership, did they always win ALL competitions. Why have they won only one CL?

3. Why did it take Barca so long to win the La liga and CL considering the crop of players they had . . . at a point it included Ronaldo of Brazil, Rivaldo, Romario and Figo to mention but a few. Look at the current crop of players in Barca why did they lose to liverpool in the CL semis last season?

I can go on and on, bottom line is that a lot of factors have to be considered. Now thats another story altogether. Any other questions?

Now as for AG what do you mean by producing results? Explain clearly. We are NO more contenders on anything, we lost to ManU by 2 goals, we are begging for top 4 position and its november compare that to the past 3 years. What do you mean by he is producing results. We are hardly a threat.

JM called himself special when pressed by the media concerning joining a league with the likes of SAF. He called himself special because he was a CL winner not because he won 6-0 in an insignificant game. He proved he was special by handing Chelsea a back to back, we had not seen the trophy in 50 years. He kept a home record which is still there. He has won it all in England and he reached the semis of the CL twice, losing to liverpool both times. 1 controversially and the second by penalties. Please spare me the special rants . . . tongue tongue grin grin
Christianity EtcRe: Was Jesus Rich? by somze(f): 2:28pm On Nov 14, 2007
Jesus was not physically wealthy . . . that is in finances on earth. I've heard prosperity preachers teach so with verses taken out of context.

It's sooo wrong.

Can we be wealthy as Christians? Of course, but remember to remain true Christians after you become multimillionaires wink

The bible has a lot of warnings against the dangers of the love for wealth. We should always put ourselves in check just like we do it concerning other sins.

Peace

Banderas
How so?
What can you say of SAF's team now or AW's team? They must then win everything possible.

As a football analyst I have to say i'm a bit disappointed with your post. Real, Barca, ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal have all proved that your theory is woefully FALSE. . . if you need further explanation I can give.

AG has performed at Chelsea? shocked RUBBISH!!!

JM was not as good as we thought? Here we go again. If i reply this you'd say he was lucky and bla bla bal, We've gone through this a thousand times. wink

[li]JM had an injury list greater than just 2 folks but he only complained about the two main ones - Cech and Terry. Cole, bridge, Carlvalho, Ballack and more were out at one time or the other. Please stick to facts[/li]

[li]JM did not have substitutes in some positions like right back and center back.[/li]

[li]AG's case may be better since he has reinforcement albeit weak ones in Alex and Ben. In every position he has 2 players . . . forget their strength, he still has them[/li]

[li]JM did not have the support of RA so he had to always find reasons for dismal performance thereby linking it back to the very echelon of power[/li]

[li]I can remember for months when every other week JM's job was offered to a manager in the news, please kindly consider what that could do to a team and a manager's moral/performance.[/li]

[li]Evidences disagree with the fact that AG and TC has indeed stabilized the team, don't be fooled, these guys are professionals so they play for their name and the shirt not for the management. At least if papers are anything to go by a lot of them remain unhappy[/li]

[li]AG's tactical awareness has not been proven, like Cabali said, we would find that out against bigger teams but even with smaller teams mistakes abound already[/li]
Bottom line is we support the club no matter what, JM is forgotten but we have been introduced to a new standard by JM.

It is the believe that we are contenders and we can win everything, we only fell short in the CL, We definitely do not want to go back to square one again and it seems we are there.

AG does not have time to build a team, he should produce results or leave. He would have thought about all this before backing his boss to pressurize JM out of leaving. Absolute Rubbish!!!

@poster
i'm so sorry to hear this, like 2dye4, I think you should seek to redeem your marriage . . . this is indeed a difficult and painstaking process from what I've heard - I'm single myself, but it may just be worth the effort.

Try to fall in love with each other all over again. Try Christian counseling, romantic holidays, communication - about what you both feel, what you want and where you want the marriage to be.

I hope it all goes well.

Now on the lighter mode . . . guys sorry o . . . I'd like to invite almondjoy, nwando and co to see this. Perhaps as they argue it is wrong for this man to read his wife's letters. And he was snooping around grin grin grin

Simple answer to the topic in question. ------No he cannot!!!!!! Are you satisfied? Now make sure the pastor inculcates those terms and conditions in your nuptials so "the wife" understands that she must "thrust and obey" her password to all her e-mails in your direction when you demand it. I SAY NO!!!!
Dont kill yourself over my personal or marriage life tongue
I'll do what works for us thank you very much tongue tongue
I'm satisfied with your answer and respect your view point so now go ahead you learn to respect the views of others ok? wink

almondjoy:
Sorry, some of us are gainfully employed and trust the men in our lives to come let us know that they intend to seek greener pastures elsewhere.
So all the people that are of a different opinion are not gainfully employed?
Once again I ask for respect of opinions without stooping to personal attacks and vendetta.

There are discussions with friends and families he might not want to see-especially if "he is the topic of discussion" cheesy---Girlie talks should be protected at all cost.

ComputersRe: Getting The Ipaddress by somze(f): 10:33am On Nov 14, 2007
The question is a bit confusing o,

Are you trying to get a radio configured and you dont know the ip address? The ip address is normally on the manual, and also a how to is there as well.

It is normally 192.168.1.1
However a default username and password may exist, so go through the manual.

If what you need is your computer's IP address than Na Wa has answered the question.

Lights go out and I can’t be saved
Tides that I tried to swim against
Brought me down upon my knees
Oh I beg, I beg and plead

Singin’, come out if things aren’t said
Shoot an apple off my head
And a, trouble that can’t be named
Tigers waitin’ to be tamed

Singing, You are, you are, you are
You are, you are, you are

Confusion never stops
Closing walls and ticking clocks
Gonna, come back and take you home
I could not stop that you now know

Singin’, come out upon my seas
Curse missed opportunities
Am I, a part of the cure
Or am I part of the disease

Singin’,

You are, you are, you are
You are, you are, you are

Oh nothing else compares
Oh nothing else compares
And nothing else compares

You are, you are, you are

I only hope all the female 'advocates of privacy and respect ' extend the same to their husbands.

a sneaky voice tells me that women also keep tabs on their husbands - they just choose not to be open about it.

( a 'monitoring' rather than a 'control' thing)
Thank you very much, at least we have an open minded woman here.
Unlike almondjoy tongue and co that ievade answering my questions and their sharing views but go around castigating others with different opinions while crying fowl as if they are victims of espionage and evaded privacy tongue tongue grin grin

nwando:
If one has a spouse that is always wanting to snoop around checking email, recording your odometer, and sniffing you for odors, most time the individual who is suspecting the other is up to some hanky pankies himself.
It is funny that you among a few others chose to play victim and claim a husband reading his wife's mail is snooping and sniffing around

You guys are playing a tune to fit your dance. The issue here is simple. Can your husband have unrestrained access to your mail. Yes or No. Do not take it to your extreme case of husband always snooping around your privacy or being disrespectful. That is just an excuse and holds no water whatsoever.

nwando:
If a man is just plain insecure with his manhood and wants to take out his low esteem on his wife,he needs psychological help.
The email password is only a symptom of his many demons.
There'll be no end to his demands.
Soon you'll be explaining why a trip to the corner store took you 10 minutes instead of 5.
Once again you jump to your illogical conclusions thanks to your all husbands with access to their wives mail are evil theory.

Once again I clearly state that it is usually those who have questionable mails that are afraid of opening up their email account to their spouses. If you have nothing to hide this should not be a problem. If a spouse asks for your email because he or she suspects fowl play then should you not prove yourself innocent. . . if only you truly are.

Please lets not change the topic to a snooping spouse, the topic is can a husband read a wife's email?

I agree with you about AG. He should talk less and do more. Compared to what Chelsea was before he stepped in he has done nothing. Lets see a winning streak, lets see Chelsea as contenders again.

Cabali
You're right about the tactical control. I dont have enough confidence in him either. He has not made tactical changes that affect the outcome of matches even with the mid table teams. He's playing a JM script, its simple and plain. The only difference is the attacking attitude and perhaps the play of ground balls.
