Guy who you be self? Are you paid to do ads for IRCC or Canada. See the way he is talking, working system my foot. Seeing your brothers hope and hard earned money dashing away, and you are still there protecting the image of an institution that is bent on sucking our money in Africa.

Most of the Chinese and Indians have moved their May intake program to Fall and this will affects slot for the fall intake and you are still debunking that truth. Na wa for you o.

Anyways, am sure you never hussle for money before so you won't know where it hurts. Next time, you let elders talk, Ok?

Hopeful2019:
Hi @Chukwuemeka101,

Your observation is totally wrong. Canada doesn't use your application fee to pay immigration officers. Also, online classes doesn't affect visa applications. Canada is not Nigeria. In fact, it has nothing to do with it. Be guided!

Don't spend all your energy looking for fault in a working system, rather, spend your energy on how to get a successful application. Again, be guided. Don't discourage people and don't create unnecessary panic.

We will be alright las las! We won't give up!

Your head dey there.

Chukwuemeka101:
Now I understand why these increase in refusal...

Most schools moved their may classes to fall while some holds it online...

Even those that got visa for may was advice through their school account via email to shift their traveling to fall ....

The VOs now sees it as an opportunity to reject some applications to keep their work going...

No work no pay

The reapplication fee will go a long way to pay their salaries lol

That has been what I have been thinking after gathering information from my school website
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by SonofGod2000: 7:14pm On May 13, 2020
I understand jare. But, is that the reason they are doing like this?

Man, a lot of people are making money here. If you earn 2m per month in Canada, you would spend the money on tax my friend while here all things go.

See, let us bone them for now I tell you. They will sit up.

Wunaarroon69:
I agree with everything but except the bolded. If doing business is as favourable as it used to be few years ago, I would have agreed with you.

Nigeria is going down both for salary earners and business people. I fall into this category. I work with a reputable international organisation in lagos but how much is the pay? 400k per month? Students are earning that a week with part time work. Then my main source of income which is my importation business from China went left last year. Fire from no where burnt down shops with goods. What did the government do? Nothing. Till today nothing. Osibanjo just came for meeting to say sorry. I was forced to sell most of my goods at cost price because there was no space to pack them. Government could not even give up a warehouse to assist. That’s how I started pursuing Canada. Infact I applied to every country I was suggested to avoid any chances of remaining in this country. So my brother, forget matter for this business talk. Please I’m sorry if I am derailing the thread, want to pass a message to him

That means they have decided to response to applicants. Na weather them be, you can never understand them.
It is well. Rejection after a long time after BVL date.

It is well. Sorry Faith, you can always reapply.

This information is for those who are yet to go for their medical during this LOCKDOWN. Life has just said you can get it done from today May 1st
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by SonofGod2000: 7:09pm On May 01, 2020
Medical is compulsory, but i have seen two or more people who got approval last year without medical request. It surprised you right, it happened. You can believe everything in IRCC website.

Just pray that God should favour you irrespective of the outcome...
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by SonofGod2000: 11:53pm On Apr 30, 2020
Bro, BVL is the last correspondence letter/ update to confirm a decision is already made on the IRCC CRM and hence should not take beyond 3 days before refusal and approval mail is sent... that is the the IRCC rule, but what I don't get now is the delay in communicating the outcomes to the applicants and closing out on the applicants SRs.
Meanwhile, this BVL things are now mostly common among african applicants. Note, you would agree with me later that they are only buying time when CHINA opens or ease her lockdown.

Luckymama:
Or could it be that the BVL is an automatic update that’s sent when your file is opened and attended to? BVL without any updates on eligibility or background check seems strange. Especially when it is coming a few days or weeks after submission.

Or the Nairobi guys just want to keep guessing since it appears we are decoding them? Anyhow sha eventually result will come out.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by SonofGod2000: 11:42pm On Apr 30, 2020
Guy, send them a webform. They have agents( that recieve all webforms) that monitor your visa process. They will tell you the stage of your visa

Thank you

I had not seen this before I pen down my note.. I said few people now applied worldwide. They have less applications to combat with. But we africans are the ones applying now. So, I even expect more people especiallyafricans, will get visa this pandemic periods

THEY are using us to buy time pending the time the Chinese and Indians students would begin to send in their applications. I bet you, if they see more of those guys applying, a lot of these BVL awaitees grin if there is anything like that, will get refusals. And if you send application from now till next 2 weeks, they would respond and complete your case in 2 days.

They don't. Are you telling they went through an application and decide in just a day even before biometric was conducted.

Because the same IRCC says the time it takes to give biometric is not part of the processing time, yet a decision was made even before the same compulsory biometric was done for my clients.

We have seen a lot here. I have packaged an application for client and we felt all is well based on experience, the guy was just too hot to be refused, but guys he was bastardly refused grin these people know what they are doing. They need our application fees from Africa and the rests of the world. Mostly africas while they grant 1 in every 30 applicant according to a research. But, usually grant study visa to the white counterparts or whoever they wish.

No expert or perfect application I tell you.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by SonofGod2000: 4:31pm On Apr 30, 2020
Please go through this from IRCC after consulting them for delayed study visa applicatiin..BVL Recieved on the 17th of April for Feb 28th 2nd application....it means decision is taken already once BVL is recieved, but why the delay, but there is nothing God cannot do.

Dear Moderators

Thank you for all that you do. May God bless and reward you.

Please I need your advise, I have received my Original Passport Request letter for my online student application but when I went to the Vfs office here in Abuja Nigeria to submit my passport I was informed that they are no longer collecting passport for now. My questions are:

1) I received the letter on the 19th of March and I have 30days to submit the passport, would the period of passport submission be extended I am supposed to resume school May 4th.

2)Someone advised I send my passport via FedEx to CIC in Ottawa Canada for Stamping. Can I send it?

3)in case the school defers to September because of the travel restrictions caused by covid 19, would my Visa be extended by IRCC to cover the duration of study.

Please I would really appreciate your kind response.

Best Regards
Bro/ madam,
You don't have to be ungenerous with information. This is why you are not getting response from experts here.

You have been asked to share your time line/ documents / application details to allow others learn and those under delay know what to do, but you did not and now you are seeking expert opinion on your case.
You go see, stay there.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by SonofGod2000: 10:43am On Mar 23, 2020
Keep your fingers crossed. You have gotten it. The challenge you may face now is that their VAC ( VFS) all over Africa are not accepting/processing passport for now due to COVID 19 - only VFS can take your passport to their Lagos/Abuja office for stamping.

They may be delaying your passport request because of this challenge. But, bro, you will still get it. You still have enough time to prepare.

All the best. I have mailed you.

Are you self sponsored?

Yes. You add it along with your supporting documents.

House, is it true all Canadian Embassies meant for case processing have been closed down and VOs returned home?

We need to confirm this info ....
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by SonofGod2000: 6:12pm On Mar 20, 2020
That is why it's called offline. Don't be confused.

They both carry same info.

It is advisable to hold on for now and apply in June when your course registration begins considering the difficulty in doing biometric capturing and upfront medical.

And your payments would ease the vo judgement if u pay all the dues and a plus to your claim on travel purpose
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by SonofGod2000: 2:54pm On Mar 20, 2020
May God help us o... Like plenty people go lose their jobs due to this pandemic novel coronavirus.

Imagine, no more upfront medical for Canada applicants
No more ostentatious flights to and from canada
No more classes in canada
No more Upront biometric for Canada
Majority of the canada foreign embassies have been closed down, except in Africa, tgey still need our money and tge officers were not asked to move or return home. There is God o.
International students coming back home, because no job to pay school fees anymore
No more gathering in Nigeria and large transport might be ban soon in Nigeria.

Then, what is the essence of study permit application.

Note, Canada did not close operations in their embassy, because the application fees will continue to flow in and used to augment the financial loss created by the virus in canada.

I feel Nigerian applicants should hold on for now and don't waste your money to this people. My advise
