sheyguy:Before the end of today i bet my money that it'll definitely reach 32 pages. Tuface says that if nobody talks about yot then you're a nobody. This confirms the HEROIC status of the subject matter. Ijeoma agu eji eje ogwu. RIP OJUKWU! |
bayooooooo:Marry google. |
ismhab:YES! He is our HERO for leading us when we asked him to. And point of correcting, from my grand dads personal account (he worked under Ojukwu personally) Ojukwu were forced to go on exile by his military subjects. They did this because there was the belief that its better to live in order to fight another day. But awoliwo drank rat poison. |
The last time i checked awoliwo committed suicide while the greatest (OJUKWU) died a natural death in his late 70s. Then tell me who is better blessed by nature? If awoliwo was Igbo, he would have been buried in a river or in an evil forest (reason: the land forbids suicide) |
All hail OJUKWU, a man above his equal, the greatest of all men ever lived in a juggle called NIGERIA. Journey well my HERO, MENTOR and the SAVIOUR of Igbo race. Haters should block the next available moving train. |
Ohhh My God! I almost forgot. RIP Dike n'aya, Odogwu eji eje mba, Anu ana agba egbe ona ata nri. Izuru ka eme. We your people will temporary miss you because i am well assured that we'll meet again in heaven but then there'll be no more division forever. Adieu Chief Sir Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu (GBURUGBURU 1 OF NDIGBO) |
ak47mann:That is quite true, the war was fought between the Biafrans(IGBOS) and Nigerians(Northerners) but any time i see the Yorubas beating their chest as heros of the war i feel sorry for their deluded mind. From first hand information i received from my grand dad in Nsukka and my uncles from Asaba, Yorubas were mere machineries just like gadafi used black africans as machinaries. The likes of OBJ and Adekunle were mere glorified commanders stationed to make the Yorubas feel important. While the likes of Murtala and Ibb were the main generals in the civil war. I don't hate Yorubas, (infact, my best friend when i was in Ghana were a Yoruba dude from Ado Ekiti) but the fact is that the Hausa/Fulanis played both the Middle Beltans (GOWON) and the Yorubas (AWOLOWO etc) to win the war. Have you guys(Yorubas) ever ask yourselves why Awolowo didnt win any election in his life time despite his contributions to safeguard a unified Nigeria for the Hausas? |
publisher: publisher:I thought Otonoo was the name given to that south african dude by Karen. |
manny4life:LOL! |
But on a more serious note, how does it function? Where is the drivers seat located? In on front, middle or at the back of the keke sorry vehicle? |
lagcity:Bros! Abegi what is maneuverable about this 'OTONOB' aka KEKE NA PEPE? Keke napepe is simply a glorified Okada. |
LWKMD! This thread must win the joke of the year. My bad! i always thought that keke na pepe was invented by the indians. May be it has something to do with 11/11/11 date. |
emere akaa? ogbuzulu from Nkanu |
Scash:Thanks. I know it may sound awkward but i still don't know how to present my words to her. |
M M M:You always sound hilarious my friend but note that am not playing rather i damn serious. So if you cant proffer a good suggestion its better you go to the jokes section to crack jokes with other jokers like you. |
andromida:Thats not in my dictionary. |
Long One:Well, you made some points. Mind you am not afraid of her par say, but i don't want anything that will jeopardice our friendship due to the fact that i love her like my blood sister. Yes! Shes worth the risk my dear. Plz, how do i present my proposal to her cos to be frank i don't know what to say to her not because am clueless with women but because i just can't see myself wooing her or something. |
xynerise:You seem not to get my point. I don't mean that i'll intentionally break her heart rather i fear that i might loose her friendship if anything bad occur in the process of us becoming lovers. For real she likes my personality too but i dont know if she loves me (am afraid of the unknown) |
Goldieluks:I never said that i am having a reletionship with her, at the moment shes just a friend. But if you happens to be me, what would you do? |
M M M:Lmao! Is that your advice? |
M M M:what do you mean? |
Yea! I fell in love (or something like that) with a girl since i was 19 years to date(25yrs) but i av never told her how much i love her cos i felt that i may break her heart if we get too emotionally attached to each other. Recently i notice that she must have known how i feel about her which might be the reason why she has been limiting herself a bit from me as a friend for some time now. The truth is that i am not too shy that i cant talk to girls (speak my mind) infact i have many girl friends but when it comes to her i turn into a zombie or something. We have been good friends till date. Plz what shall i do peeps? |

Chyz*:Disillusion of the grandour. Dont mind them (some Yorubas) who also make false accusation whenever they are frustrated. They fought in support of their own predator, now the predator realises that they (Yorubas) are his prey, they resort to false accusation. If i may ask when they Igbos were clamouring for the post of speaker house of Assembly what did they Yorubas do to support their so called lovely Southerners (IGBO).outherners (IGBO). |
Why do some people think that Nigerians are gullible to understand the power of a senate president in Nigerian polity? A senate president or speaker of reps has the power and influence to draw projects and establishments down to their region or state of origin or they can even use those their looted money to create employement as Ota farm is to Obj and Ogun people. If you say that a region should stop aspiring to the position of senate president or Reps speaker just because those that occupied the position previously didnt perform well, i'll say its absurd. Who among those senators from SW performed well and why did they SW keep sending representative to the centre if truely they dont want to get entangled with the FG. Its delusional to always buy an orange and leave it to rotten when actually you dont eat orangle. So therefore, it is either those supporting the exclusion of our lovely South Westeners from the central govt are illusioned, deluded or they are living in self denial. But if the SWthners says that they dont need to be corrupted by the FG, SENATE, HOUSE OF REP then they should stop accepting Ministerial appointments from FG and also cease the voting of Senators and house of Reps members so as to enable AC and indeed the whole of SW to concentrate more on the development of their region without external distraction *period*. |
Nawa for Nigerians. What do we really want? FOI or GEJ head? The man has done his part by signing FOI into law, it is then left for every Nigerian to demand for clarification of any unclear information or act. What we should be discussing is how to utilise our new right and not this crap we are talking here. |
I dream of NIGERIA where true federalism will be the system of gov't. A Nigeria void of tribalism. A Nigeria where police will be doing their job of policing. A Nigeria where other countries will be trooping in for holiday. A Nigeria where owning houses and cars will no longer be a big deal. A Nigeria where its students will study in a condusive classrooms. A Nigeria where every graduate will be employed immediately after graduation. These and many more are the dreams i have for Nigeria. |
