Lupron is a substitute for HCG for trigger so you can't take it anymore, and can't even take both together. Take your mind off having ohss and just have faith for a bfp instead

As for the pcos, I wasn’t insulin resistant, although I took metformin and inositol but in August when I went to ubth, the doctor conducted several test and those that has to do with insulin level were normal, cortisol was the culprit and he told me I had adrenal pcos, I was asked to lose weight, eat healthily, stopped metformin and inositol, manage stress, placed on hydrocot 3shots, ate more fruits than food, went from 85kg to 69kg, sept did test and right ovary was healed up, I continued, I was given so many supplements, I even got tired at a point, sept and oct, I did not stimulate ovulation, Doctor told me other types of pcos heals except insulin resistant pcos. I don’t feel any symptoms anymore, I felt happier healing pcos even if I wasn’t pregnant yet, although that was the goal and it is still the goal. Knowing the root cause helped alot

If you don't trigger and your body doesn't produce enough hormones to hatch/rupture the follicles you stand the risk of having the follicles turn to cysts.

Good evening mamas in the house, I am sorry I have been away for so long, I needed to work on my mental health so I took a break from ttc, I worked on pcos and now my ovaries are normal, before the break my right ovary healed first, and I hav been ovulating from my right ovary but yet no pregnancy, so this cycle my doctor asked me to do another TVs which I did and both ovaries are normal now, in the past I stimulated with 5mg letrozole and I always had just one follicle, but this cycle I have 4 as of today from 2.5mg letrozole and bitter leave juice.
Getting to meet my doctor she asked me to trigger with hcg shot which she gave me, I am scared because of ohss because on the scan result there is significant fluid in the pouch of Douglas, I use ubth
Please @Sugar and other sabi mamas in the house what should I do I am even scared to bd

Giving it at your upper arm doesn’t stop it from working, hcg is usually given intramuscular or subcutaneous, subcutaneous is usually at d abdomen for hcg inj, and done for does undergoing ivf, I am sure it a daily thing for dem at a smaller dose, while for trigger shot, it can be given at the thigh, upper arm and buttocks.
A similar thing happened to me, I was given a trigger, I felt the ovulation using bbt, opk, ovulation pain, progesterone test etc, yet nothing, in fact I have been ovulating for some months now, everything is ok but nothing is happening, we have decided to continue praying and start saving, hopefully next year we are able to save enough and try ivf. Please sabi mamas continue to add me in your prayers, it has been hell for us, we don’t know what is wrong anymore

On Day 3, only one blood sample will be collected to carry out the tests, I'm guessing LH and FSH, they don't need to take the blood sample twice. Then on day 21, another sample will be collected for Progesterone, to determine whether you ovulated or not in that cycle. So, you can use the first lab.

I feel they are supposed to add prolactin, it very important as well

Some of these docs think cos we are ttcing we are dumb and big fools. So l have been seeing this doc cos my FSH, lh, and prolactin is high, he gave me parlodel and charged me exorbitantly for it l paid, now he is asking for 25k for cabergoline, l was what? He said yes, after that we will boost my eggs with 85k and he will give me a stimulating injection that will trigger ovulation for another 70k. Oh l forgot he will also be doing TVs to monitor and each session is 10k and he listed abt 12 days for me. I was amazed, pls l av moved.

I changed the fertility clinic I have been using for 6months to another one because I had no results, the new doctor asked me to carry out all tests excluding hsg because I did that 3months ago and tubes as patent, yesterday was my cd11, I went for tvs, and here is the result, she saw the result and said she would have triggered ruptured if she had seen hubby’s results and my progesterone results, please sabi mamas I don’t know what to do, hubby’s results are not out yet, he did them yesterday, I didn’t stimulate ovulation this circle because I started with a new clinic this circle

It very sad, I understand your pain, thank God for the mama here who advised me to stop vit c that period, since there are many follicles on scan it may indicate pcos, again having missed period for long is also a sign, if you add weight without knowing how and it is difficult to loose weight, acne, gut imbalance etc, these are all symptoms of pcos, go for for test to know what is really wrong, I don’t think clomid causes hormonal imbalance, it main function is to cause follicle growth and maturation, and some of us are resistant to it because of PCOS, I will advise you go for further test

Did you end up getting it back? I was placed on CLOMID in February and a trigger shot. Since that month AF has not shown Gynae palced me on Primolut to push AF out, still no show. I took dong quai, back cohosh and motherwort (all chinese herbs) still nothing yet. Sigh

Yes mama, mine was cause of vitamin C I guess, AF came 2 days after I stop vitamin c. My diagnosis is pcos, if it is same with yours you can use inositol, I heard it works for irregular period.
