This Headline is dumb. Supreme Court can not over ride Tinubu. In fact it is now that Tinubu can exercise his Prerogative Of Mercy discretion. Nigerians and sensational Junknalism. The Presidential System of Government we practice gives almost god-like powers to whoever the President is at any point in time Should The Supreme Court also apply the same to Nnamdi Kanu....I hope some of you won't now expect the President to commute his sentence or pardon him since you all think the Supreme Court can over ride an Executive President |
malali:This is a very dumb post full of pain and sorrow. So you think all the people moving into APC are dunderheads who can't decipher between good and bad hence are deciding to go for what they think is bad for them politically So people who are JAPAing abroad are going to a worse off environment according to people like you |
Deepspirituals:What some of you don't know is that no one born of a woman amongst the pretenders in the Coalition will emphatically campaign against reversing all of Tinubu's reforms They know that Tinubu has done the dreaded hardest job for them but they are banking on using emotional blackmail to hoodwink you all to vote for them and then you will later find out that Tinubu's reforms were necessary |
treesun:Oyinlola has never accepted that President Tinubu is someone he can never be. He is still pained by the crushing defeat handed to him by Tinubu via Aregbesola in Osun State which denied him a 2nd Term. Hence Oyinlola will never accept Tinubu's political leadership |
uzohrome:While several AI focused jobs will be created. AI/ML Engineer Data Scientists Automation Engineers Governance Risk and Compliance Analysts are jobs that will be created in that niche Some of y'all Nigerians have been programmed to see evil in every new innovation Govt or the Private Sector tries to introduce into the System Instead of the Youths to join the IT/AI train that is sweeping across the World....y'all will rather complain and whine |
surgical:This is a very dumb comment! APC keeps attracting Governors and their State's Political Structure but a pained nobody like you want to spin it otherwise |
Coming from an Obasanjo who was propped to become President just after he was released from Prison. What plan did he have back in 1998. This same Obasanjo was against Baba Awolowo, MKO Abiola and now Tinubu. A charlatan extra-ordinaire. He can only deceive the young ones who didn't witness his 8years rule |

OP...... Dont display any ignorance The election held on Saturday is not for House of Assembly but Senate and House of Representative......They will all be Abuja bound The next set of elections is for Governorship and House of Assembly who are going to be based in Lagos |
ozoigbondu:Will 25% votes scored vitiate majority votes? Buhari from my calculations have 12Million votes to Jonathan's 8Million The remaining states which are Imo,Edo,Bayelsa and Delta can not cummulatively give PDP 4million votes to surpass APC IT IS ALL OVER |
OAM4J:In all the 11 states from the SE and SS Result has been declared in Rivers 1,400,000 Cross River 329,000 Enugu 553,003 Abia 358,000 Anambra 660,000 Akwa Ibom 953,000 Ebonyi 279,000 Edo Imo Delta Bayelsa So in all the remaining states, there is nothing PDP can manufacture that will over shadow the 3Million votes difference APC already has OAM4J this election is over! |
Crocz:Some of you should use your education for once See in all the states there are Returning Officers which are the Profs from the Universities They normally would have announced the result after collation in their respective states which will be signed by all parties...... That is where people normally get the result first even before they take it to meet Jega in Abuja What Jega will only do is to announce the TOTAL of all the result first announced by the ROs in their states and also in front of camera in Abuja before Jega now take over to announce the TOTALITY of the results and declare the Winner But with the results being collated from the states,we have a sneak preview of who would win......The ritual from Jega is just for formality sake |

As at the time of this report, sources at the Abia State Headquarters of INEC disclosed that the results of the two outstanding senatorial zones of Aba south where the winner is expected to emerge from the APGA or PDP as well as Abia North had reached the electoral umpire but that it came in late. In Abia South incumbent Sen. Prior to the announcement of the results security operatives had cordoned off the Umuahia North Local Government Headquarters used as the collation centre, even as supporters of the two dominant parties danced at a safe distance.
