FamilyRe: Nigerian Women SPOIL men with their over tolerance by sosodat: 2:27pm On Oct 02, 2008

@ JustGood: Why would a mature, family man take to insulting the parents of a teenager? undecided

If you have to react, why not direct the insults at the poster, rather than her parents?
Been following the drama

U're really taking it out on JustGood. Try caution others too

Dat's very biased!
Christianity EtcRe: How To Become A Super Rich Holy Businessman by sosodat: 1:51pm On Oct 02, 2008
KunleOshob:
The poster never even remotely suggested that a christian should be poor. Infact there is nothing wrong with a pastor being rich as long as he is not deceiving people into parting with their money and he is not diverting church money for his own selfish needs. People should learn to understand the context of the post before passing inapropriate comments.
U said it as it is wink
Christianity EtcRe: Fornication or Homosexuality, Which is a Greater Sin? by sosodat: 1:42pm On Oct 02, 2008
@Chrisbenogor
Paedophilia and raping women is natural to some men. Urinating whenever one has the urge is natural. Nudity is the only natural state for animals, even humans.
To strike back when struck is natural, but considered unchristian. Turning the other cheek when struck is considered Christian but it is unnatural.

All these are natural (arguably) but a line seems to have been drawn.

When do we draw a line on Homosexuality?

my thoughts exactly! the poster is a maniac whose only aim is to create an attention-grabbing thread. she said so herself. i wonder how an adult could post a personal topic such as this on a public forum? huh
Am surprised! Public forums is a haven for airing personal problems cos it provides anonymity.

Whaoh! Paullipopo,

Have been following this tread for quite something. Its really enlightening, helping in reaffirming and confirming my suspicion for quite sometime.

I strongly believe this thread does not harm God's work or people's faith - thou it helps discerning people to find their real faith which should be in Christ and not the pastors and denominations u belong to.

Personally, this has helped to make me more interested in really enlightening myself via the scriptures and strengthening myself spiritually by seeking the truth in the scriptures (Not waiting solely for my pastors to do all). Cos it's "all man to himself". Heaven and righteousness is an individual race. Thanks for the insight!

I think one of the key member of the Nigerian Consortium is Mike Adenuga. Cant really say much cos am still wondering the reasons behind this kind of investment from Naija. Just hoping things work out well and they dont drag Naija's name further down

@Chrisbenogor

Can u give evidence and proof beyond reasonable doubt that Homosexuality is Natural?
Christianity EtcRe: Faith Tabernacle Puts Nigeria In Guinness Book Of World Records by sosodat: 1:48pm On Sep 26, 2008
Total Glorification of Man! - "FAITH TABERNACLE Puts Nigeria in Guinness Book of World Records"

Big Edifice God wants from us is Conversion of Souls and walking in the footsteps of Christ. Why cant investments be done and sustained in that area. Does real Evangelism still exist (winning of souls to Christ and being Christlike) OR is Evangelism now = convert to my church (hence emphasis on expansion and glorification of man made edifices)

Me i just wondered what would have happened to our fathers and our country if the early missionaries had opted to be listed in guiness book of records rather than build us those precious schools,hospitals and homes, the catholic church,methodists,anglicans etc, you just wonder if the 'new'church has not reduced christainity to some status symbol.
Lets be real, the missionaries(you could argue they werent born again)had more impact than our mega churches are having,more fame, less Godliness!
I can only give kudos to Winners for expansion of the money making business!
ComputersRe: Google Browser Challenges Microsoft: Google Chrome by sosodat: 1:24pm On Sep 03, 2008
For those using firefox and Safari, have u tried Opera. Opera is way faster, takes up less memory, can save ur sessions, doesnt hang, stores the pages ur browsed effectively automatically for offline browsing, u cant lose ur sessions even if the PC shuts down unexpectedly etc.

Am testing the Chrome, its as fast as Opera and has a nice interface but doesnt take into account that ur internet connection can disconnect. Hence all tabs will display "page unavailable". U cant also view pages u browsed online as offline.

Sticking with my Opera!

sosodat, your problem is similar to the guy who can't make up his mind between a king sized bed and a queen size bed.

I know it is not easy to choose from 2 good cars but in this case its also something to do with size. Decide on what you want na and let people talk. grin
In terms of performance, mpg, maintenance and feel, which one is better - 2002 Passat and 2003 Jetta. thanks
