Listen to you and op questioning what some claim to have seen up the mountain. You would never believe Moses nor would you believe me, as you very rightly ought not to. This whole thread screams "prove what you saw", and two intelligent responders have so far said, "go up the mountain and see for yourselves".

Would I be correct if I say some are too scared to go up the mountain to see for themselves so they too can know, instead of remaining at the bottom refusing to know and merely believing (or disbelieving), and thereby trembling in fear?

Yes, you have taken care of the physical ones that you have seen like everyone else is doing, but now, it is Reported that This Dangerous Person Can not be seen, would you be concerned about a danger which you can not see?

That God did not save them from drowning does not mean he can't save them. God knows best, we can't question Him, He allowed it for a reason.

No one is forcing you to worship God, neither is God forcing himself on you. 'Choose this day whom thou would serve' -that was a choice on all men.

God has saved tons of men from death and misery. How have you acknowledged that? The fact that they died doesn't stop God from being God. The 12 apostles all got persecuted and all of them except John died gruesome death. I'm pretty sure if you were alive then, you'd question where God was.

For a believer to die is to rejoice, knowing that he died strong, holding firm his faith and will be rewarded for it with a life of holiness, purity and joy in heaven. Free from pains, turmoils and sadness that roams the earth unchecked. The destination is heaven, doesn't matter how you die. Plane crash, boat mishap, accident, sickness. If you don't die, you don't go to heaven.

Oga, if you have nothing to say, keep quiet. God protects. The problem is when people fail to listen and are carried away by the things of the flesh, then they become victims.

Have you ever wondered what could have prompted one of them to call only to be told hi that the programme is over and that they shouldn't bother coming. That was God protecting them but no just disobedience had to creep in and stubbornness took over. People perish most times out of their own carelessness. God gave us the power to choose. He will direct us, but the choice is left for us to make.
