You lose the entire amount should the price fall by 10% from $11,670 to $10,500. If the price was to crash to $5,000 your loss is still limited to $1,167 which is the value of your Initial Margin.

PS In margin trading. You can make more money than you could have but also can lose it if you make wrong judgement. In as much as its profitable, I want everyone here to use the demo account to practicalize margin trading.

I regularly see this opinion on nairaland. It sounds intelligent but it is fueled by ignorance.

People who know better, understand that Seun is a very intelligent businessman. How many other fora with better feature opened to compete nairaland and are now dead. Seun understand his audience like no other did.

Users of nairaland are not looking for features. They have Facebook, snapchat and Twitter already for that. What the user want and need is a light forum, easy and quick to load (even with a very poor network you can open nairaland in seconds) and pour your mind.

People just want to have a place where they can bash each other, perpetuate their tribal wars and hatred for the government. Seun provides them with that like no other.

Above all, he is very discret and silent, and the members make the forum. He is not a linda ikeji whose forum would be always overshadowed by her own pursuit of fame, thus turning the forum into another blog. Very reason why her forum failed.

Nairaland is very suitable for Nigerians.

You have said it all, this Forum have a going concern of over 20 years.

A: You can't tell. There are orders that do not end on the depth as a result of how fast orders are filled. What you can do is to go to recent trade and view the number of trades there

A: Why goodtillcancel is preferred is that it's hard to sell an order of same price and amount. Therefore you might want to buy 500$ of bitcoin at 10,800 and someone is selling 300$ at that price, 300$ will be filled to you while u await the remaining 200$ of same price to show.

A: 15,000 to 5,000 is around 75% fall. You will lose 75% of your $100

A: That you never sold doesnt mean the dollar value isn't falling. What remains constant is your satoshi value but your dollar value isn't.
