I realy pity you on this, take heart, it is one of those tricks seen in men. But if i am to ask you, does it mean you did not date this man before accepting his proposal or is time running out of you? Didn't you make proper enquiry about the man before it got to this level. If you are in good terms with your inlaws, you would have heard it from them before now. Don't you have any sister of the guy as a close friend? If you don't, get one now, she will tell you the truth about the family, the man and thier village. How many of the man,s intimate friends do you know? There is always a go between in marriage, what did he tell you about where you are going and the man? Pls, i am sorry on what happened but ti appears you were carried away by the man's proposal. Make proper enqiury, you will still see more hidden things than you have seen. Do not forget that men is somehow attached to thier ex. I was shocked the day it happened to me because i did not believe i will do it,but i did. Your man is still sleeping with that ex and do not be surprise if he marries her later after you have wedded him some years back. That will relegate you the the second position authomatically. Sit this man down and find out more truth from him. For now, postpone the wedding until the coast get clearer. I realy feel for you. |
My friend, DONT TRY IT, I did it when i opened a shop, i was transfered out of where the shop is and under one year, i closed the shop. The shop worth N450k when i opened it, in one year, the value has come down to less than 50k. The shop could not even pay for its rent again. My girlfriend was pretending she is doing well while she was not. If i querry any of her action, she get offended and we start querreling. Some of what she took from the shop was not paid for. If you do so, you will lose either of them or both in about 15 months. You may at the end lose your respect as well. If you have initiated marriage process is a different thing but since it is a girl friend, PLS DONT |
Yes, I agree with you that Lucky is the most under performed governor. His greatest achievement was to climb mountain Kilimangero. He would have come back with a Kangaro for his personal zoo. I do not see how that will transform the life of his people. Edo have the worst uban road in the country. Though some other governors under perfomed, his own is too obvoius. I think Enugu state governor, could not be said to have under perfomed. His work was concentrated in Nkanu area alone. He was able to build a university, college of medicine, school of nursing, modern specialist hospital all in 3 years. He did well also in road network. But he scored low in human capital empowerement. His civil servants are also hungry. Sam Egwu of Ebonyi state is more of a media governor. He worked more in pages of newspaper than physically. Though he did well in human capital developement. Achike Udenwa of Imo state is the worst among the whole South East governors. His accounting profession and loyalty to the power that be saved him from EFCC harmmer Generally, most governors failed us. May God deliver us from such leaders in Jesus Name. |
Personally, the issue of church should not tear marraige apart. Both of them should understand each other rather than tryign to win a denominational campain. If there is love, trust and confidence, church is a secondary issue. I know of a family at Abakaliki where the husband is ECWA member while the wife is a Watchman member. All there children were allowed to attend the church of there choice and incidentally, they are all members of ECWA. It is only the wife that attends another church. They are living happily. I can see there is love but no sacrifice in there relationship. Pls, remind them that true love is sacrificial and accomodating. I see there marriage as a conditional one. Pls, let them break up peacefully now because they will be contending for a lot of issues if they get married. |
Bros, you are on your own. Igbo man is industrious but not dubious, The famous Onitsha and Aba market are in Igbo land and 95 percent of traders there are Igbos, Even Lagos and Kano market have majority of Igbos there, then what took you to yahoo. You are only lazy are dubious. I am an Igbo man and very proud of it. Count the no of high institutions in Igbo Land and you will see that you are not an Igbo man ideologically. For having made yourself open, your game is up and you will soon be guest to EFCC. Repent or you perish. |
I did not vote, there was no election in almost all part Enugu State. In my polling booth, Umu Adonu Owo Family Hall in Igbo Eze North LGA, election started by 7 pm on saturday and we were forced out of the polling station. Only very few were allowed to go where the ballot box is and vote. Every other person was told to go home and wait for next saturday election and so we left. In most part of Nsukka Zone, there was no election at all. Where it held, it started very later than 6pm. All the same, i think my vote would have counted if i was allowed to vote. May God help Nigeria in Jesus Name. Amen |
Confused In Making Marriage Choice: Fellow Nairaland users, i need your advice here. Like Tony Tetuila, i am dating two ladies A & B and do not know the one to settle down with in term of marriage. A is very caring, loving, understanding, in fact very good in character but is not good in bed. At times, she cries when we make love. I have tried all i can but it issue is still there. I really love her but when the night comes, i get worried and bored. Even when she propose for sex, she will end up shouting of pain and we may stop the sex there. In some case, she may insist on continuing with the sex even in her pain only to satisfy me. I do feel for her and may stop the music at the peak of the party. For B, she is not too good in character as A, She is not even near A in humility, truthfulness and others. Her kind of pride is not to my liking too but in bed e e, my o my, my goodness, oh , ah, uh, mh, uah, my good God, she is too good and too sweet. At times, she gets wild and will take over the deck. In fact, i tend to forget all the disappointment she have given me in day time at night when the music starts. Now I want to make choice of marriage between the two and is confused. "Umunna, biko nyelunu m aka". Brethren please, help out. Happiness in the day time and that of the night, which one do I take? |
Is Marital Love Depreciative? In marriage, when the couples are starting, they are at each others heart, they call each other a particular name ( love, honey, darling, mine etc). As time goes on, their love for each other starts reducing, they may starts sleeping in different beds, accusing each other of infidelity, talk to each other wish harsh voice, care less for each other and so on and may end up in divorce. If they are to remain dates only, such a thing may not occur. Fellow Nairaland users, is marrital love depreciative in nature. |
I feel for you, On a good day try and let your husband know that he is not marrying his mother. If he cannot decide for himself, it means he is a boy. Do not be harsh with him. Be prayerful, God will see u thru. |
This is realy interesting. You have been following election in Nigeria for a very long time. You actually have the picture. ![]() |
It does not pay to donate love to men to reap a broken heart. Pls, do not compare love rather appreciate it. I advice you to stay with ur man than risking ur intergrity. |
Well, it depends on the company or office regulation. I resume work latest 8 am and have undefined closing hour but must not be earlier than 6pm. Though, i work with private company. |
