I don't think you are right, exiting from the Union does not mean Britain exits from Europe these are 2 different thinks. Let look at it this way if Nigeria decides not to be a member of the African Union it will not stop us from playing the African cup of nations because we are still in Africa. my guy it takes nothing special to be there, we know all that is happening in the security sector, promotion, special courses and assignments in the military depend on your connection and who you know. If truly you are a military man and will sincerely say the truth you know that to join the military in the first place is not based on competence is based on connections and godfather ism likewise the promotions to higher levels.

the corruption in the military is worse than what is found among politicians and with the level of corruption being discovered every day in the military their uniforms are gradually becoming symbols of corruption.

Once again the truth most be told. Southern Senators and Northern Senators have different mentalities whether anybody agrees or not. To put the records straight Dangote is richer than all Nigeria banks put together he sources his loans from global financial institutions not from a rag tag local bank that cannot even pay salaries as and when due. He sourced for about $10 billion loan from gloabally efficient banks when he started building his refinery no local bank could have dream of providing this amount even if all they local banks were put together they couldn't have provided that money. But also know that the day Dangote failed to pay this loan his refinery would be taken over by the appropriate authority it is an economic practice

Have you studied the Nigeria map? draw a line on the boundary between the North and the South and tell us which part is larger, look careful you will see that the North is more than twice the size of the South. Sometimes I wonder the type of education the Southerners acquired, how can they allow somebody from Sokoto or Maiduguri to claim that Bennue kogi and kwara states that are next door neighbours to Enugu, cross rivers, ondo etc are Northen states without considering the political and economic advantages?

Northerners might not have gone to school but they seem to be naturally wiser than the Southerners with all their degrees.

Please go and check the records again the oil money given to rivers state alone is more than what is given to 10 states in the north. The records will help you speak better next time.

Why Govt Came Up With The Policy
Just like any other sector of the exonomy , the Forex sector was equally corrupt. Banks, other financial institutions and related firms were using the initial official exchange rate to defraud govt. Banks used to buy at the official rate of N198 to $1 from CBN which they were suppose to re-sell to intended importers with a little interest of about N2- N5 to facilitate the importation of essential goods and services such as petrol, medical equipments etc but these banks after buying at the rate of N198 per dollar will instead turn and sell to bureau de- change operators at over N300 to a dollar making huge profits and starving genuine importers of cheap dollar.
