you got it wrong, is 30% of profit made by NNPC not exploration cost. 3% of NNPC expenses goes to the host communities. Now assuming NNPC expended $20 billion in its operation 3% of $20 billion which is ($600, 000,000 / six hundred million dollars) goes to the host community. Now let say after spending the $20 billion (capital) in its operation NNPC made $1000,000,000 billion / one billion dollars) as profit 30% of the profit which is ($300,000,000) goes to the frontier states . But where I don't support this aspect of the bill is if NNPC spend $20 billion in its operations and make a good profit of say $4 billion for that year which is very possible it means that the frontier states will get $1,200,000,000 far more than what the host communities will get. It depends on the amount of profit to be made by NNPC

The fact that someone confessed to a crime does not.mean he or she actually commited the crime. And someone confessing to a crime is not enough for the court to pass judgement. In both instances the investigation officer and the prosecution team must prove beyond reasonable doubt to confirm and support the confession. There have been many instances where people confessed to crimes they never commited because of fear and intimidation by the investigation officer.

My comment was not about Sunday Igboho, the person made a comment that every search or arrest must be through a court and warrant and I corrected him that is not in all cases and pointed out a condition under which someone can be search or arrested without warrant. So my comment was not about Igboho case .

In the case of Igboho both search and arrest warrants were required which I believe the DSS had both before going there.

permit me to correct you a little. Not all arrest must go through a court or warrant. If a police man or any security officer who is just working around then sees somebody he doesn't know committing a crime let say killing someone. He doesn't need to obtain a warrant or goto court before searching and arresting that person moreso that he doesn't know the person and where he is lives.
