Congratulations, I think you can try the PNP route. Ontario does invitation for French speaking candidates.. you can read up more on their site

I think to qualify for the Ontario French speaker PNP your first language must be French. The challenge now is if the application score will still be high enough to hit Ontario draw base point if French is inputted as the first language.

Do you have an idea of bookies that still have the option intact? Either a Naira or Dollar bookies.

Thé “no penalty” option has been removed from bet9ja list. I tired playing some lower division games today but discovered that the option is no longer available. Anyone else notice this?

Does anyone have an idea if there’s booklet in Festac Immigration office.

Your response will be highly appreciated.

Please how much is the cost for the 64 pages 5 years booklet and I don't have my national ID but have I have an Identification number can I still go ahead with it

The cost is 36,000 inclusive of bank charges if you’re paying with card.

For Alausa and Ikoyi, NIN is a must but I don’t know about Festac.

I wish you've posted this before I applied it will definitely be my saving grace, now I can't do anything because of the non availability of my passport.

I'm now missing out on most of my plans.

It's so unfortunate.

So sorry to hear that.

I could remember saying here sometimes ago that there’s no booklet for 32pages passport but some people thought I didn’t know what I was saying. When I discovered the non-availability of the 32pages booklet I opted for 64pages 5years booklet for my wife. She did her capturing on the 17th of February, 2021 and her passport was made on the 22nd of February, 2021. She successfully picked up her passport this morning.

DIY is the way to go.

To be a Nigerian comes with alot of challenges, it's like minus 10 down.

Please, any information regarding passport collection, what I keep hearing is no passport booklet, was at ikoyi on Friday.

It's now 2 weeks and 2days since I did capturing.

It's becoming so frustrating.

Did you apply for 32pages or 64pages 5years passport?

Please someone that has done this kindly confirm please. As I don't have what those extortionists at npc are demanding

Affidavit for Age declaration won’t work. My wife had to get a birth certificate in Alausa for 1k before they could collect her documents for filing. Her age declaration affidavit was turned down. Although a friend did the certificate for us around that Alausa axis.

Also can all lagos centres process the 10 years passport?

They’ll be so glad to process it for you. Just do DIY and you’ll get your passport in no time.

For those who care to listen, DIY is easy, smooth and stress free if you go to NIS in Lagos with all the right documents. From my experience, DIY application shouldn’t take more 15days in Alausa. I did mine in Alausa within 14days (32 pages) last year December and my wife is currently processing hers (64pages 5years) which she is expected to pick up next week Thursday.

NB: The collection date my be extended if there’s shortage/ non-availability of booklet.

Also, I must say that Mrs Chioma in Alausa passport office is a wonderful woman.

Please help,my friend did her NIN registration Last 2 weeks and on getting to the passport office yesterday for verification and data capturing she was told her NIN number did not drop, and it's urgent.
Please anyone with useful information should please help as this issue is weighing her down.

It took exactly one month for my wife’s NIN to drop on NIS portal after she did change of name on her NIN. If possible I’ll suggest your friend wait for additional two weeks but if she want to runs the dropping, it will most likely cost her #10,000 (from what I heard from those runs guys in Alausa) which I don’t recommend.

Boss, I'm back to Lagos oo
Yesterday, I went to Alausa passport office for collection...but was told it isn't ready yet.
Did my interview on Monday 25th January.....was captured on 4th February.
My collection date is 9th January.

Should I give them more time or send a tweet or email to their head quarters?.......cos those guys are not sincere at all.....a lot of people got their passport yesterday.... although I don't know how long they've been waiting for it

Most of those picking up their passport at Alausa Office applied for 64pages 5Years passport. I took my time to observe that when i went there with my wife for her capturing. If you applied for 32pages passport, you might need to wait for a little while.

I don't know how true that claim of no 32pages 5years is but I remember vividly that was the same story those errand boy immigration officers were telling me when I wanted to do mine last year; advocating I opt for the 64pages one. I believe it is a marketing gimmick of some sort to fleece unsuspecting people of more money.

Thank God for this thread then.. I DIY and got my 32pages 5years passport in 2weeks.

I self processed the 32 pages 5years passport for myself in December and got it within the pace of 14 days from point of application to capturing to collection. But at the time I wanted to process my my wife’s passport, I was told by a senior officer that if my wife is not in a hurry to collect I can process the 32pages 5 years for her because there no booklet for 32 pages 5years passport at the moment but if she needs it urgently then I should go for 64pages 5years. After all it’s just a difference of 10k and it’s self process.

Truly, there’s no 32pages passport in Alausa as at today that I went there. Most of those who are privy to the information of non-availability of 32pages passport opted for 64pages 5years passport. So, if you need your passport urgently just apply for the 64pages 5years passport do not waste time waiting for 32pages passport because you don’t know how soon it will be available. My advise.

I did my capturing yesterday (Thursday)....cos I've been very busy at work.
I was given my confirmation slip and on it, my collection date is 9th February 2021....which is just approx. 5 days after my capturing date. I believe it's very close and I doubted the feasibility of collecting it on that day. So I went straight to Miss Chioma to know if it's actually possible for me to get my passport on that day....I also told her that I need it urgently....then she told me to disregard the date. And asked me the passport type I applied for.....I told her it was 32 pages, 5 years. And she said there's no material available it.......as if I would have gotten it immediately if I had applied for 64 pages.....I almost regretted not applying for 64 pages.....then I remembered that I can always renew it after expiration.

So I told her I'll keep checking....then she said if my passport is ready I'll be informed.... since I applied online.

Hoping for a positive outcome...

Please, did Miss Chioma said the 64pages passport material is available?

I’ll like to apply for it as soon as possible.

Why Togo?

Have you considered the cost of living?

The choice of Lomé was based on Village du Bénin, Lomè recommended to me. As for the cost of living, the cost of living in Togo is quite cheaper than that of Bénin republic.

If you have a différent opinion or advice kindly give.

Of course your sister stands a better chance of getting her study visa to Canada. However, the best option for her is an undergraduate degree in Canada given that she has an ND certification. There are cheaper schools she can apply to like University of Winnipeg and Memorial University. The money in your account (7M) and your friend's own would be sufficient to cover for her stay in these two schools.

It will end in praises

Thanks for your prompt response.

Please house I need your candid advice on this issue.

My sister who is 22 years old just finished her OND from FEDPOEDE. I wish for her to seek study opportunity in Canada next year.

The total fund I have in my account is 7million naira only and a friend of mine in Canada has also promise to give her sponsorship letter.

Please does she stand a chnace of getting VO's positive approval given her age (22 years) and funding (7m cash and sponsorship letter from friend). Your responses will be highly appreciate.
