Yes ORS salt, palm kennel oil helps fight the virus as it sanitizes the dog's immune system once administered, This oil is local but very powerful

B-complex is ok and also the glucose, you administer them maybe with spoon... Or just pour one spoon of glucose inside it's mouth everyday

I took Gustaf home and then decided to do the treatment by myself, I google online and also got some help from people on Nairaland here telling me what to get and how to do the parvo treatment.


I bought each and everything i was told to buy including;
Antibiotics
Diastop suspension
Oral b salt
Drip
Palm kennel oil
Multivitamins
Glucose
Syringe
Toothbrush etc...

Treating parvo wasn't really easy for me but thanks goodness everything went fine and Gustaf rose again

the vet give metronidazole as antibiotics and to stop poo, I've the oral suspension at home too and what is the oral b salt you're talking about or is it ORS salt? I have that one too. I don't have drip the vet does that... What is the use of palm kernel oil? which multivitamins do you use the one I have is B-Complex I have glucose too and syringe as all the drugs I have are oral so I give with syringe.
lest I forget what is the use of toothbrush

if your dog is healthy now then Parvo was never the problem and as for the goats as long as they are cool there is absolutely no problem you should also try as much as possible to make sure you stop your dog from eating goat poo beating won't help don't allow your dog eat poo stop it before it does you should have thought about all these before getting a dog and if all this is too much to bear give the dog out.

Go to a pet store, tell them to give you "multivitamins" they come in different sizes so you update us to maybe prescribe it for you (with pictures)

Or maybe you should visit a pharmacy and get emzor multivitamin for kids, it works for puppies too (I used it on my pup)

just what I need! my dog is down with Parvo today will make it day five since I started treatment and there is no much improvement yet. is there anything I can do on my part apart from what the vet have going on?

if the seller sold a healthy dog to you wouldn't it be unfair to return the dog and ask for a refund? The best thing you can do now is taking the dog to a vet and start treatment

it might just be reaction to the drugs I can't say if he will die or not but I'm surprised your dog don't eat much mine is a glutton and everything is edible to him. try to give multivitamins there are cheap and effective ones like extreme growth booster ( can't remember the name at the moment I'll take a pics when I get home) I used it for my GSD i started using Gorilla max immediately I got this dog.

@spanishmilf owning and taking care of a dog is not easy at all the thing is to give your best don't just kill yourself, when I had my GSD I fed bingo 90% and house food 10% I was able to afford it because my GSD was not a heavy eater but with my new pup the story is different this guy is a heavy eater and I can't afford to buy food all the time. I started with pedigree can food then switched to binggo dry food now I feed binggo in the morning and remnants from restaurants at night and his growth has been amazing so far I'll try to get a pics of my friends neopo fed exclusively on remnants he is less than a year but very mighty.
