I was asked to refer someone for a job in a company in the South East.

I had forgotten about this until a friend followed up with me about her sister's application. I inquired from the Hiring Manager and learned that this candidate was made an entry-level offer of a little over 90k by the company but she rejected the offer. Reason? It's okay to place yourself highly but are you highly skilled for the pay you want? Don't get me wrong, money is very good but there is a place of learning and a place of earning. We learn to earn. If the million-dollar job you want hasn't come, hold the 90k one while learning and developing yourself into the million-dollar talent that you aspire to become.

Companies pay for value, use that small money to make yourself a valuable talent and watch doors will open for you.

I was in the room when I heard a loud crack from the kitchen due to the tempered glass spontaneously shattering, which sent shards flying five metres away into the corridor.

The glass continued cracking for about 30 minutes until it was fully shattered. I have not used this stove for about a month plus. so the surface was not hot..

I got a huge contract through my brother's company.

The contract is securely in my possession now and I've been fully paid. Initially, the plan was for my bro to supply me the materials

But the issue now is the quotation he's giving me is way higher than what I'm getting elsewhere.

I've asked him to beat down his price but he's adamant. I plan on sidelining him if he doesn't do the needful.

I want to know if energy drinks like Climax, Redbull, Fearless are really that bad. I was advised to reduce my alcohol intake last year April after a serious Ulcer incidence, so I decided to give up alcohol. I haven't taken alcohol since then, but occasionally, I take Climax or Redbull energy drink when I hang out with friends. So, yesterday, when I wanted to order for Climax, this guy seated next to me (a friend of a friend), started talking about how bad energy drinks were. He advised I take juice instead, or Malt. Mind you, this guy was taken raw liquor.

I'm very antisocial, and an introvert. Alcohol always set me in the right mood back in the day, but now that I don't take it, I really don't like how I am when everyone else around me is in high spirit, from taken alcohol, so I decided to take energy drinks once in a while...like just one a week. But I've been hearing about how bad they are. How bad are they really, if one takes just a can a week?

I am dating a lady, and we are about to get married. She's already carrying my baby.
I have taken her to my parents. I have never taken a lady to my parents before. I have seen her parents too, and have communicated my intention to marry their daughter.

The only thing holding me now is to get things in order before paying her dowry.

The main problem now is that we keep having issues, coz, she's always making calls with her exs. i have confronted her on Several occasions, we have had fights, physical fights as well.

I hhave told her to stop making calls with her ex, but she seems sturbon.

That phone is dead already, just get another one asap. That's how all iPhone 7 dies including mine 3years ago.. It usually starts with you replacing the battery up to like 3times before that boot issue finally kills it. I lost important work data that cost me millions. Since then I never used an iPhone again and I'm not sure I will, maybe as a 3rd phone but not will I trust any useful data on an iPhone again coz till date I still suffer the loss.
iPhone is for the new generation, u can't find someone who value his data using only an iPhone, I haven't. It's for show off, nothing gets done with it
