Sometimes I would be in the class reading and a group of boys would prefer to hang around at exactly where I am sitting. 1 (me) vs as many as 10 boys. Not worth it. I'd simply move away and find another location.

The black student was somewhat over sensitive. A white student, in his position, or even an Asian would just get up and sit elsewhere.

However, he didn't have to leave his seat if he did not want to, especially if the class was full and there were no other seats available.
