The bad spot is from Shendam to Ibi before you cross the river using a ferry. That's the shortest route from Bauchi to Wukari. Most people that fear water avoid this route.

You could decide to blow to Yola and connect Wukari if you are not scared of Boko Haram or blow to Makurdi and connect Wukari (you will spend more time and fuel on the road via these routes).
thanks man. I appreciate. That Ibi road ehn! shocked

I asked around today from some transporters who ply that route, they said the best route to wukari is thru plateau just like Gazzuzz said but that the road is bad. They also said that Ibi, a ferry would be used to cross us and the car over river Benue to the other side

GAZZUZZ:
looking at the map to wukari. There are 2 possible ways to go, thru plateau or thru benue via nassarawa.
going thru plateau seems shortest but can we guarantee how good the road will be?

iv don that trip (lagos-bauchi)over 50times in my life

From bauchi capital, drive to the FEDERAL university then continue to the federal poly alll the way to tafawabalewa, it's a straight 1hr trip smooth roads.

Please post pics, when. Do you leave?
thank you boss. Getting to bauchi isn't the issue. Rather the route from bauchi to wukari.

The route Google map gives is what I don't trust

Hello guys,

I'll be embarking on a road trip soonest to those locations as stated on the subject.

I'm not sure of the best route from bauchi to wukari. This is where the problem is. A friend said getting to wukari would only be through Jalingo which is an 8hrs drive. I'm seriously in need of suggestions.

Here are my car problem:
1. v6 Honda accord baby boi 2001 is consuming abnormally my fuel and its giving me concern. Pls what should I do cause my Mech has check it, and said he has corrected it but yet still persist.
2. The car will not start once but twice. If I want it start once, I will have to delay it for like 3 secs. What is the problem
3. Whenever am moving, the car will not change gear smoothly. It will look as if its sluggish or pulling back. I use Mobil atf
4. My dashboard and packing lights are not on. I ve try to adjust the dashboard light but it won't on.

Honda guru's in the house pls tell me what I should tell my Mr Kazeem and Mr Rewire to do. Thank u.
cc Mr Gazzuzz, lovinhubby and the rest.
from my little experience, scan that car to see why it's taking so much fuel

For the dashboard and packing light, it's controlled by one fuse, check in case the fuse is cut.

Since you are talking of shorted wires, we are talking about thermistors here. They control fans.

Restoring the connection to factory settings is a good move but keep your eye on the temperature guage for the first few trips you make especially in traffic with A/C off.
very important. And use coolant instead of water

A belated post but thanks Mayor, this was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the RPM at just 4000 or could it have been downhill? I really doubt this
the RPM is normal at that speed. The car's engine is still in good shape and at such can attain the speed at that RPM.
