There's this place they call Honda Line in Apo mechanic village. There's a workshop there that specializes in fixing gearbox issues when you take the turn by the Police sign post on the road.

1. Not much, she did say she tried fixing a knocking sound immediately after starting the car, that aside nothing more.
2.very much intact
3. She's just serviced 0nce with mobil 1, not sure the exact oil grade but in her words she spent over 20k to change oil and filter. the car is about 10month old with her. Was bought direct Belgium. Present odo reading is about 60k plus *I'm not ruling out the fact that maybe the mileage could have been rolled back upon purchase*
4. Factory setting

Hello gurus,

My friends 2011 Accord pulled this code:

P0011 - "A" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1)

How do we tackle it pls?

Never got to do it until my CAT got blocked. During removal my O2 sensor was damaged.
I have the code on my baby boy, I also have a friend who has same code on his 09 accord, he said that since the code popped up his fuel consumption has increased. I need to get the defouler to remove the CEL

adanny01:
Yes i guess eventually i must. Instead of that i will fit a test pipe with an O2 space fabricated on it as i have read. The hollow section of empty CAT may not be a good thing for the engine and a straight pipe is recommended instead. For now, i want to try the spacer and if it fails, then the straight pipe thingy.

For now, most mechanics i have asked have no idea that a spacer of that dimension exist. Thats because most spark plugs threads are same but the nut are either 19 or 21mm while the O2 sensor has a bigger threading with 22mm. With the new $ exchange rates, the spacer is too expensive to make an orders. I think i can fabricate the spacer by welding a 22mm nut to a fitting pipe and having the other pipe threaded to correspond to the CAT O2 hole. It shouldn't cost more than 1k for labour and parts.
oga, did you later do this? I'm in same dilemma at the moment

I have once tried opening someone's car. I went to use an ATM, parked just facing the machine, immediately after another car with similar colour parked. When I was done with the transaction, I walked straight and began trying to open the door of the next car with my car key. I only realised it wasn't mine when the door refused to open. The way I move away run go my car ehn

Today afternoon, I was parked just outside someone gate, having a talk with a friend by the side of my car when I saw a woman come out from the gate of the house I was parked in front and opened my car door(the door wasn't locked since I was standing by the side). I saw her looking for something in the car. It was the guy I was with that told her the car wasn't her husband's own grin grin. The lady quickly apologized and ran inside the compound grin

As far back as March, I saw this Ford Focus undergoing surgery in a mechanic workshop. Fortunately, the owner of the car was around on the day and so I asked why he didn't buy a replacement engine instead of the conversion which he had to buy both Toyota engine and gearbox, his response was that the car had electrical issues.

On that day, they were trying to kick it, it did start but goes off immediately. Till I left, it was same issue. Last week I passed by that garage, the car was still there.

Thanks to MsSteph, ammylove and all nairalanders that have been posting abuja vacancies here. Have been following this thread for years now, although most times I hardly comment. I want to encourage all job seekers never to lose heart&dont despise little beginning. I got a job in unity bank as an outsourced staff(contract) in 2014 and have been working there till yesterday earning less than 70k monthly despite my degree(2.1). I gave it my best shot&was excellent in what I do. Yesterday I resigned because I got another offer from stanbic IBTC with a salary package four times what unity is paying me and with ABO Grade (Dats triple promotion). I applied for stanbic job using my 3years work experience in unity (even though its contract). Instead of staying idle, take up little offer and give it your best shot. Bigger one will come&your dream will come true.
nice one brother. Congratulations

Please, this socket has been dangling since I bought my car Nigerian used, I've searched to see where it's supposed to fit into but can't find. My mechanic too doesn't know where it fits and said I leave it like that.
