PoliticsRe: NCAA Cautions Pilots, Others Over Adverse Weather In Nigerian Airports by spectator2001: 6:27pm On Dec 01, 2020
In 2020? This country is a total joke. When you appoint Minister of Aviation, they are to Identify ways of improving service delivery and facilities upgrade within such ministries. But no, it is how to pad budget and rigmarole with Senators on what project they can inflate to cash out.

The absurdity of appointees in Nigeria is further downplayed by the sort of human we have as President. The President is not in control of any aspect of the country. Nigeria is on auto-pilot. You can imagine Adesina claiming responsibility the other day for not including the Lekki Massacre in the President’s address.

This is 2020 for damn sake, why should “dusty” weather prevent a plane from landing successfully. Pilots in saner climes can afford to shut their eyes now when approaching the airport due to the advancement of technology beyond the archaic manual calibrations of landing coordinates still deployed in Nigeria.

Naija, which way? Only violent rejection of these ruling class may send the right signals to these old and corrupt elites that the youths are tired of this maladministration!

I really don’t waste my sympathy for peeps like that. Got rich, make some money or fame and become too good for our black women? Nah. Deal with it! Let them from the other side protect you.

On issues similar to this, I always check out who you breeding or laying with and if it ain’t amongst one of your own kind, I couldn’t give a f.ucck less.

Yeah, deuces to the bullshit.
Most people don't understand how this sh.iit works. The black man is constantly under constant ridicule in the west through the media and everyday white people. Even the Indians, the Asians, the Arabs all hate the black man. The first thing majority of black folks wanna do once their bread align is to breed with people who'd give them offsprings who look nothing like them. Ask Serena, Ask Reggie Bush etc.

You've said it all, the only reason is self hate is the core reason for most Black Athletes. "LOVE IS LOVE" always championed by the perpetually weaker race. Most Blacks are nothing but naive babies!

They're still essentially similar in nature to black women, still got their own drama and so on. Pls stop falling our hand abeg. Our black queens are still highly coveted by all men.
I think you sir, are the inferior one here. Let me school you on what that poster implied. Your refusal to breed with your own kind as a black person (man or woman) indicates a higher level of insecurity/inferiority about yourself. Racism can never go away till blacks adopt the style of the whites in the battle for race survival. You don't tell someone to slow his roll just so you can catch up simply because "we are all humans".

It is a welcome development to me whenever some bold whites come out to clear the doubt of naive folks like you who screams "LOVE IS LOVE" non.sen.se just to hide from the daily struggles of black folks around the world. Lol, the poster above is known to me, he is a thoroughbred aristocrat by every standard. I see that some of you think you can just name call people shamelessly and mislead unlearned folks from your tainted perspectives.

"Coveted by all men" Lol. Black men need to assume position of power and when they do, they need to increasingly show the future generations the need to grow black and stay black (marriage, institution etc). There is no need to navigate the murky water of insults with you. Proceed with your ignorance of "LOVE IS LOVE" because you simply do not understand the power dynamics of the world.

Racism persists because black folks are afraid to treat white folks how white folks treat black folks!

White people done said worse things and are still saying worst till date. The problem is that Blacks like the Gypsy are afraid to give back to white folks what they steady dish to black folks everyday in every manner through personal and social interactions / media propaganda and all that!

That said, I dont care if they call black people monkey anymore. I have had my decent fair share of all white/pale skin ladies from ALL continents of the world and I can tell you this: IF YOU CAN SLEEP WITH A WHITE PERSON, THEN YOU CAN SLEEP WITH PIGS! thewatcher2020:
We don’t need more refineries!!!

Is there anything wrong if we join others in pioneering alternative sources of energy? The world is moving far ahead of obsolete developments such as refineries and other archaic bullshits. The government of Nigeria should brace up for the challenges of the 21st century and let’s focus on how we can survive beyond oil and it’s bye-products.

Yes, some may say “oh we haven’t gotten it right with the basics, we want to jump to the extremes”. I say No! We can pioneer these technologies if the government is ready to fund some serious research and deploy its resources towards breaking boundaries and attaining new goals every successive year.

Japan, Germany believed in their national strength and mights and created the enabling atmosphere where failure wasn’t discouraged but leveraged upon to succeed unfailingly in a futuristic world that keeps them miles ahead of the rest at every point in time.

If the Saudis wanted to build a refinery here some 9 years ago, I’d applaud such development. This is 2019 almost 2020 for goodness sake, are you guys aware of the vision 2020 set out for this country as far back as 1995-96? This is a negative growth! We can and must do better than this!
'

Excellent take!

This was my exact position when Dangote started his refinery project too. Nigerians always looking for quick-fix out of their misery. Refineries, to make the investors richer definitely. The purchasing power of the plebs stays static and you have people with antagonistic response to your post. Its insane that many Nigerians are actually too poor to think. Poverty is worse than cancer TBH.

Thanks for your intelligent and succinctly delivered mini-lecture.

Without any apologies, i honestly think you are very ffoolish. Its an FDI, foriegn Direct Investment, how would that stop research into renewable energy? Can you research alternative energy when the National grid lacks gas to power its power plants? More refinery means more gas to fire our turbine. But then you dull Dunce think governance is like a Science Fiction Movies.

If not sheer stupidity, a looser like you wants to give your poverty riddled opinion to Saudi or Damgote,?

And for your information This isnt Goverment spending but Private Spending, Dull foolss

Poverty is definitely having you on a chokehold at the moment boy. I believe if you have lived in top continents of the world, have a beer or two while on a first name basis with someone like James Packer in Barangaroo while discussing more futuristic-investment initiatives, you wouldn't type to me with those leprosy-infested fingers of yours.

Now back to the part of your submission where you sound less ret.arded, An FDI or private investment -no matter its connotations can be channeled to a more purposeful course if the policy makers of the country are actually in tune with what is obtainable in the international sphere. These investments like you FOOLISHLY presented, are profit making ventures for the Saudi government and Dangote without meaningful impact on the typical Nigerian like you. I bet you are some local idiiot in some ramshackle housing precinct typing shit to me living in one of the most expensive postcode in the world -not as a tenant but as a Landlord.

PS- Your country Nigeria is a joke. Your former minister of petroleum with "cancer" just sold an apartment here and cashed out while you guys foolishly talk about people "hating" the country. When i read comments of jobless Dunce, giving unwanted economic advise on fosil fuel to investors in oil and gas and refineries i just laugh, dont let your hatred towards Nigeria make you Foolish.

Dangote and Saudi Goverment Conducted Comprehesive Feasibility Studies before venturing their "Own" money into Nigerian Economy, You can do whatever you like with your own money, a good percentage of our earnings comes from fossil fuel, Refining it is going to make value to our export.

Little fact about values of refineries;

*Only few people in the world can afford Electric cars, due to expensive Battery Cells, Electricity isnt cheaply available to power such cars. Hence the market for Refined PMS. Power generation comes from Gas refined from fossil fuels

*Refinery produces almost most chemicals needed by other industries, including Nitrogen for fertilizers, Cosmetics, Paints etc.

*100% of Cormercial Airplanes still run on jet1 fuel gotten from "Refined" crude. As battery cell powering and replacing jet engine isnt feasible for large carriers

*100% of world cargo ships runs on diesle gotten from same fossil fuel that Refineries produces.

*European coutries cant leave without gas heaters during winter, gas is a product of Refined fossil Fuel.

.
Sir, with all due disrespect, I think you are more of a jobless dunce than those talking about fossil fuels.

Hatred for Nigeria? Please hide your stupidity you moronic dingbat. Those guys are probably asking the government not to focus entirely on same old energy source and generation. It is possible for Nigeria to lead a groundbreaking research to reduce global dependency on those bye-products you mentioned above.

The only people you see in the church? Very old men and women in their 70's trying to make it to "heaven" if at all it exists.

Now where are the youths? They are busy socializing with their wives and kids having a more quality family time after a fruitful week. This is insane!

Can the Nigerian youth just quit with this religious bullshittz? The youths should challenge themselves towards more innovative feats annually and create better opportunities for growth and advancements.

The youths should seek avenues to come together to continuously challenge the leadership situation in the country and educate themselves by sharing knowledge on how to improve their current devastating conditions.

The 2019 election is around the corner, I don't see sane youths in saner nations discussing how to stay awake throughout midnights to pray ceaselessly for some heavenly breakthrough without putting the required homework.

We are just a bunch of religious i.diots as Nigerians -Christianity and Islam should take the back seat and let us challenge ourselves on intellectual lines to see how we can chart a better course for the future of our sh.ithole nations -Africa, Nigeria precisely!

If Nigerian youths and professionals of christian extracts gather together nationwide every Sunday to discuss more meaningful issues on nation building and Muslim youths do the same on Fridays consistently for 5-10 years, trust me, results must be seen.

You guys go to Saudi Arabia, y'all get discriminated against because you're blacks. CelebritiesRe: Patience Ozokwor: "Stress Causes Premature Death, Take Life Easy & Rest" by spectator2001:
This is absolutely true.

Lol. Just seeing this now. Care to hear this short story?

Physical stress is NOTHING when compared to mental stress. I quit a very good paying job today because waking up every morning became a nightmare. It's nothing to worry about in this life. You have just one, why drain yourself of your mental worth chasing that which never satisfies your existence?

I woke up to my alarm and felt "bad" for waking up because I was headed to an office where I'd get hounded from 9-5 and go back home tired to sleep again and wake up to the same alarm. My mental life was grossly deteriorating and I couldn't take it anymore, I covered my whole body under my duvet and typed my resignation mail but hesitated to hit the "send" button for 2 seconds and I went "F.Uc.CK IT" I hit it and turned to catch a better sleep which never came actually because my entire mind and soul wandered into the uncertainty presented by my new future.

I'm awake now very happy knowing that I wouldn't be waking up tomorrow morning angry and sad like the case for the past 11 months. What does this hold for me? I'd LIVE for the next three months to get my life back. It wasn't handed to me by any man in the first place so that's my solace -GETTING MY LIFE BACK. Yeah I'd need to move out of this expensive high-rise apartment to look for another granny flat in the suburbs. Yeah something's gotta give. I envisaged a whole lot of lifestyle adjustment but like I see it now, it's a phase and it must SURELY pass.

NEVER neglect your mental health for any reason(s) whatsoever. With physical stress, the pain could be eased with a couple of high milligrams of painkillers here and there. With mental stress, the scars are unseen and they never heal, you can only reduce your exposure to the toxicity that inflames it by walking away from conditions/situations/occasions that triggers such disorder.

The most powerful tool you have as human is to WALK AWAY. This option is highly underestimated in our daily lives. USE IT WHEN YOU CAN, IT IS A SUPERPOWER!

On the other hand ARCON is the REGULATORY body for the profession saddled with the responsibility of regulating the practice of the profession and granting of licences to graduates of architectural schools to practice the profession of architecture as ARCHITECTS. Hence an Architect certified as an Architect by ARCON is at liberty to ignore membership of NIA or join the association if he/she so wishes.

The price surged. That money has never been accounted for. And that was within a few months. AND IBB spent 8 years in office. Are you saying he used all that money to do Third Mainland Bridge, that was already budget for separately? Do you know what $12 billion dollars could have achieved for Nigeria?

Just in case you do not know, the worthlessness of the Naira began during IBB's time. The crazy inflation you see now began with IBB's Naira devaluation. Pensioners who worked and saved money over decades saw the money suddenly of little value. IBB is one person if given a chance I will NOT think twice before stoning him.

Now for OBJ, there was $20 billion budgeted for roads/infrastructure, what happened to it? Just one example o. And similar sum for electricity. Remember he was there for 8 years too.

Abacha's money is still partly stuck abroad (US, Switzerland, etc) and several in foreign courts on forfeiture/repatriation hearing, othershave been repatriated in batches of over $400 million dollars, billions already returned. And a separate $1 billion return deal with Abacha's family.

And in your mind these monies were not silly looting? Haba! shocked shocked shocked shocked
