Just do ur Assignments EXCELLENTLY and score SOMETHING even a 20/60 in ur exams and u r just good to go with the mandatory pass mark of 40 i.e "let my people go" score. Emphasis on ASSIGNMENTS. |
eagleeyez:Exactly! My thoughts Exactly!!! Some persons erroneously come to public forum to display their ridiculous level of ignorance. It's so damn pathetic! The Late Emir was a distinguished diplomat, his role as the father of the prominent emirate of Kano is bigger than any board you can think of that's if you know what powers, respect and influence such position commands. The current Etsu Nupe is a former General in the Nigerian Army, same goes for the highly revered Sultan of Sokoto one of the most disciplined officer in the history of Nigerian military. The Oba of Benin, a former Fed Perm Sec. What about the Obi of Onitsha, a former director at Shell. Just to mention a few. These are persons who have used their wealth of experience in the boardrooms, diplomatic circles to effectively provide the core essence of Leadership benefits to the people they rule. In conclusion don't go about thinking that since he's an Emir now, he'd have lesser influence in boardrooms and on national issues, that's a NO! In fact right now, he's in the best position to advice the government as the advisory roles the traditional rulers perform gives room for efficiency in governance if such rulers are not partisan. The Sultan still advice the president on security issues affecting the North due to is wealth of experience which saw him to the position of Defence Attache to Pakistan before his installation as the Sultan! |

Good day, kindly assist sir 2TIBR30E57C826094 Thank you |
mmsen:Ok, Fine. Do u know the Sultan of Sokoto? He is a Muslim ruler and by virtue of his Ancestral Heritage- the Head of all Muslims in Nigeria. The position of a monarch in the pre-colonial era wielded higher influence and authority which has diminished over time in the post-Colonial era. The absolute power over life and death once at the dispose of these monarchs ain't existing anymore but the TRADITIONS of the PEOPLE Must be held in TRUST by a CUSTODIAN, the CUSTODIANS of these traditions are the Traditional Rulers, the functions they perform can NEVER be performed by any GOVERNMENT DEMOCRATICALLY Elected official, be it the President, the Governor or Local Government Chairmen of their Jurisdictions. Even OBJ for all his presidential powers remained a core traditional title holder in his Owu Egba domain as a BALOGUN. Maitama Sule, one of the few living men of the pre-Colonial Nigeria is still a high ranking traditional title holder in the City of Kano till date. We may forgo some things in Life, not the very basis of our own cultural heritage, our customs and Tradition bequeathed us by our forebears! The relinquishing of our customs and tradition owing to "Change" in times doesn't only smirk of irresponsibility but also an indication of total willingness to lose our core values to foster an existence of people without roots and Culture. Have u ever asked yourself why the Brits are yet to do away with their monarchy? It is simply because, it is their common source of pride wherever they go. In United Kingdom, people complain so much about Prince Charles as being a leech, who does nothing only to be feeding on tax payers money. Same goes for Andrew who receives regular press bashings for his incessant charter of private jets with Tax payers money and the rest of the Royals over there receives same insults on a daily basis by the "anti-monarchy elements but ask them in United Kingdom. "ARE THEY READY TO ABOLISH THE MONARCHY " The answer U'd get is a resounding NO! Let's hold dear that which we still have left of our cultural heritage, The Oba, King Erediauwa is a core figure in the History of Nigeria as a Custodian of the great Benin Empire which once held sway in this present day Nigeria and extends far as to some West African Nations in its prime. |
Mmsen please answer the above questions, let me see if we can learn a thing or two tonight. One thing for sure, the fact that no man is an island of knowledge doesn't confer on us the rights to expose our unclothedness of ignorance at every given oportunity. |
macof:This mmsen guy... are u a nigerian? where in Nigeria are u from? Let me take it up from there. Please be constructive in your response, I ONLY asked questions, please. |
The situation in Delta State is quite delicate. James Manager wants to return to Senate, the state Governor too is very much interested. Lemme see how this event unfolds coz by 2023 I don't care who occupies that seat, I'm gonna unseat any senator representing Delta South.

Lol. Muhammed Babangida be looking like Mase. |
Popelawson: pls wats NDDC and how did u enter.? If the pay is more than NN sub leutnt then its good.pls how can some one enter it plsNDDC is Niger Delta Development Commission. As d name implies, It is saddled with the responsibility of developing the NigerDelta Oil bearing states encompassing 9 states- Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo, Imo, Abia and Ondo States. To get in? They really don't publish "vacancy" in this parastatal but u've just gotta know SOMEONE, not just anybody but someone in d cadre of ED or the MD or the board chairman just to get in. I'm from Delta state, I got in via the help of the Commissioner representing Delta state in the recently dissolved board of the commission. And as for d pay, I know it's pretty handsome for starters. If u know some1 who can help from ur state who is a board member on NDDC, that's d surest way. Good luck. |
nnesochim: Guy,no be only u,I am worried too,if any body will tell me dat NAF dat started d sale of forms d same week we wrote exam.will complete their recruitment and start training before NN i will nt believe, now see,nt only have dey started training but they ar automaticaly our seniors, that is 'IF' they release their list.As in ehn! I wanted to pick d form for NAF then too but when I saw d requirement at 2:2, I was like -dis just gon be a ploy to exploit graduates coz too many ppl gon meet that requirement of second class lower. I ain't even gon front I'm so dejected now n I regret my action i.e not picking NAF form, that regret is gonna be in me for a very long time to come except the Naval list comes out with my name conspicuously displayed on it. Yea it's true, they are automatically our seniors, I even got taunted by one chic who made d NAF list dis morning about her seniority. Too bad DJ Ezeoba is acting like a millipede, even NNBTS 23/24 ain't ratified yet n in d same period NA has trained 2 batches of recruits. |
These Naval guys shld pls come out n say something naaaa. I'm tired. My current NDDC job is boring AF except for d pay there is nothing interesting in what I do here in PH. On my way 2 d office daily I see Naval Personnels n Young officers n it breaks my heart to see that where wanna be is not where I'm currently at n these ppl are living the Military life I practically dream of on a 24-7 basis This is sad! I know my first pay MUST be less than what I currently earn here at NDDC but the question is "DO I ENJOY WHAT I'M CURRENTLY DOING". The answer is an OROBO "NO"! Navy shld pls release the list ASAP n put my name there. For the records, I studied Architecture n wldnt wanna go work for these Private Practices whose only intention is to drain all ur energy with meagre pay n won't allow u create time for u to Live ur life hence I took d NDDC job but that ain't what I want! I ain't in this race for the pay at all. I don't mind even if my first tour of duty wld be at Maiduguri, just arm me with the necessary weapon(s) to defend myself and protect the defenceless civilians n snuff out the life of insurgents while protecting the territorial integrity of the Independent state of Nigeria thereby earning Force Service Stars n medals along d line OoooooMG! Lol. Navy abeg, Na beg I dey. Pls I'm begging, Biko. Just release a list, even if it is a blank list n let us just imagine our names on it. Thank You! |
General emperor: There is absolutely no reason to be agitated over this issue. The Nigerian Navy will notify the public in due time.Nice1 there Emperor! For earning a response from them alone, kudos to u! Ur effort in obtaining the said response is highly commended by well meaning Naval hopefuls on this forum. Once again, may d delay in d release of d list be to our greatest advantage in Jesus name (Amen)!!! GOD be with us. |
General emperor: Lol,spectator d cowards av all gone hiding,I jst wonder wey dey got dat fucking notion "it a military job"so annoyn a statetmnt. As in Emperor!!! This is just absurd. NN maintaining graveyard silence on dis issue is annoying AF. I would be glad if NN releases a statement saying "Kindly wait till July 2014, as we are currently experiencing some administrative n logistics difficulty in releasing the names for now, Pls bear with us" That would go a very long way in calming some1 like maself down n not this Total Silence! My prayer is that we all are gon make d list, May the delay be in our favour in the name of Jesus! |
Seriously not happy about this delay by NN at all... this shii ain't kul at all. Pls don't come here and tell me "it's a military job and I should keep quiet" coz I'm gonna curse d living day light out of ur generation. NAF list is out, ma friends (2) made d list. They told me 2 pick d NAF form then, I said "NO", look how far I took maself backward without picking that form? When is NN gonna release d list for screening before final selection list for Officer Cadet Training? In my honest opinion even if d Naval Authorities release d list tonight n I and the rest good ppl of this forum makes d list, my happiness wld be downed a notch coz I've spent so much time and energy refreshing a page for weeks and months without any response from the Principal actors of the drama. NAF didn't give any RESPONSE, they gave out RESULTS. With this recent show of lackadaisical attitude on d part of the Naval Authorities, I hereby hand down my verdict- NIGERIAN AIRFORCE >>>>> NIGERIAN NAVY. Congrats to those who made d final list of NAF, may y'all project the image of the Force professionally and may ur conducts at all time be a display of Excellence attained through discipline. Thank God for his mercies and protection as y'all embark on ur training Next Year. |
Jocyman: Looking at some of the comments here i can now understand why they say Nigerian graduates are unemployable, you took an exam wich u paid for,its over 5mnths now no official communication,no message or response and some 'very faithful' pple are here saying dat because its military we shud just keep quiet, when d Airforce that did deir own application along with their exam have already released their interview list,i wont talk again since some decide not to know their rights, even military officers if shortchanged in their salaries complain,bt its ok lets continue looking nd moping like the mumu Nigerians we are no wonder the govt treats us anyhow,General Emperor abeg may we no talk again,Da young officer u dey soo?As in!!! My grouse with NN is based on d fact dat NAF commenced their recruitment exercise weeks afta NN and ryt now the candidates are already facing final selection and some ReEETards r here telling me shi*t that we shouldn't question the lackadaisical attitude of d Naval Authorities as regards dis issue. We Nigerians deserve every gaddamn thing we r getting from d government if we got ppl like "these" as "graduates". Even withholding a kid's toy beyond reasonable minute(s) wld be questioned by the Kid who doesn't even understand why u shld withold his toy in d first place hence such kid resorts to cry after ur refusal to hand him his toy in due course. |

samdollas2004: I know the girl and the Navy chief you are talking about. You are right man!Wow! Small world mahn! Let's just hope for d best in dis Nigeria Navy DSSC22. God is able. |
Nigerian Navy should understand that Nigerian Airforce commenced sales of forms and zonal enlistment after the Naval DSSC applicants had concluded their aptitude tests. Matters arising; 1. The Nigerian Airforce welcomes Successful applicants at the Zonal enlistment exercise conducted in October to the Final Selection Interview phase of the exercise at Airforce base, Kawo, Kaduna State. The Nigerian Navy yet to release any list whatsoever since July 20th 2013 when the aptitude test was conducted. 2. The posture of the Nigerian Navy on this issue smirks of irresponsibility on the part of it's hierarchy for it's failure to release just a single press release on it's website informing the Naval Hopefuls for their delay in releasing any list till this moment even if they are gonna lie about it, at least let there be an official information to that effect. 3. The List, when it is eventually released should contain something extraordinary I.e The list should contain more names for shortlistment or reduction in the number of shortlisted candidates or something different to be determined by the Naval authorities to show deviation from d norm obtainable in the past. This is gonna give a logical explanation as to why the events leading to the delay occurred. 4. The regret I have right now is the fact that I didn't pick the NAF forms. I just got the most authentic information right from Naval HQ that those of us from Delta State should pray we make the list coz of the number of ppl from our state on the CNS's neck as regards their children and wards. The source told me "don't u know that whichever state the CNS comes from must produce special candidates, not that they aren't qualified but they just have to be given concessions based on their personal relationship with the CNS" 5. The Nigerian Navy shld do the needful and release the list this week coz my respect for that branch of the Armed Forces just dropped a notch. NAF candidates exit the Kawo base by 27th of November, so the Navy should pls kindly release the list this week to give others who placed der hopes on them a sense of belonging too. Just to let y'all know, I don't know the ranks of ur godfathers but a friend of mine whose dad is a Rear Admiral and a strong force to be reckoned with in the Naval echelon just boarded a flight from Lag to Abj for onward movement to Kawo, KD today n she told me exactly what her father told her b4 she picked the NAF form n I quote "Look, the recruitment this year is appearing funny to me, go and pick the Airforce form let me call my friends to fix u there coz I'm not convinced with the kind of selection process they are adopting this time around" PS- The girl in question made a first class in one of the foremost Federal Universities of this country in a Professional course too, so when it comes to merit she wasn't scared coz of her credentials n her academic feats precedes her. Even with the credentials, Her dad who is NN's Chief of... thought it wise for her to pick the NAF form coz of what he'd seen on d inside of the Organisation he belongs. So for those of us with godfathers, think of ppl whose godfather is their FATHER? She is bound to make the final list at KD tho all things bn perfect according to the will of God. Let's just pray evr1 on this thread makes d Final List. Final list meaning- List after facing the selection board interview! |
chineloSA: Personally, how I would treat this is, my child has to know all his father culture, language etc before mine."I think you overreacted, since you said the child can still learn Yoruba either way". For dis comment I love u already. The child is definitely gonna learn Yoruba either way. For ppl talking about insecurity on d part of d husband, pls read d most reasonable assertion postulated by dis user n avail urself some knowledgeable awareness of Reality n stop sounding unnecessarily abrasive. FYI Dad is Isoko, Mom is Isoko, I grew up in Lagos wiv d rest of d fam n we speak Yoruba like d Language is about 2 be banned d next day. Lol. Dad never, Mom never spoke Yoruba 2 us buh we picked it from d environment. We also speak Isoko too but mind u we d children communicate more in Yoruba than our native lingua except we r talking to Dad n Mom or others. |

So Cosmos Maduka is a petty thief just like d rest From his statements at d hearing, it is easy to decipher his incriminating contribution to the actualisation of the fraud btw Odua, NCAA and Coscharis as a group. They should be dealt with with the full weight of the law without fear. I am seriously ashamed of d disposition of Maduka in trying to defend dis broad day fraud with the bold evidence so far tendered by the house! It's just a shame on Maduka to have involved himself in this unwholesome act of brazen corruption against the citizenry and trying to defend dis bogus figures quoted for the said vehicles in this modern age and time with the easy access to Internet facility in place for majority of the populace whereby any individual can obtain the quotes for the most expensive n luxurious automobile or even private jets from his bedroom irrespective of the person'n net worth even if he/she lives on less than $1/day. Shame on Oduah- coz she can afford the car on her own without pilfering funds from national source. Shame on NCAA- coz as an agency of the FG, questions should be asked before granting frivolous request from a Minister Shame on Comos Maduka- he is just a common thief by trying to defend the crazily inflated prices of th said vehicle and even going as far as obtaining waiver in the most shameful manner by passing across different info to the NSa as regards the ownership of the said vehicles. |
Madam speaker: Mr Sada is a farmer...he lives in Sapele...he has a big farm...he grows yams,cassava.....#i jst dnt know y dis passage wnt leave my head#Loool. Same here! I later met a family friend Professor Sada from Delta State who later became a Vice chancellor of a university. Whenever I see him I'd start "singing" Mr Sada is a farmer, he is now a professor he no longer live in Sapele but Abraka, he has a big Office. LOOOOL. The prof died recently tho. May his soul R.I.P. Professor Pius Sada is d full name. U can google him. |
@OP pls don't call ppl stupid for wearing sunshades at odd hours especially if u don't know d condition n reasons why they got it on at such instances. Let me use myself as an example. I was travelling from Benin to Lagos yesterday via Edegbe motors, the sun was very intense as at d appropriate sunshine hours 2-4pm hence my shade was on me throughout these hours of intense sunlight. As at 6pm when the sun was almost out, I took my shades off n kept in d casing. Then all of a sudden d bus started "Smoking". That is it was emitting mad n crazy carbon monoxides that was causing severe pains to our eyes n ppl started raining insults on d driver n the owners of Edegbe. Guess what I did, I brought out my shades again at 7:12pm and I was free from any effect of smokes or dirt or impurities entering my eyes. Are u gonna come to my face at that instance of me protecting myself from the severe pain bn caused me by Edegbe driver n his proprietors that "I was silly" for protecting my eyes with my own shades at 7pm If only u can do a little bit of research as to "How" "Why" "When" certain events are permissible before terming such actions as "stupid" or "silly". |

"Heaven helps those who help themselves" <---- This saying got no Scriptural/Biblical bearing whatsoever. It is so painful it has found it's way into our everyday usage just to free our minds from guilt at the slightest instance. |
anonimi: Your comment would have been so good if you focused solely on TY Danjuma without trying to justify freeing Ibori on some story of his fighting for True Fiscal Federalism.I understand perfectly d perspective u r viewing the comment from. Justifying Ibori's so called fight for true fiscal federalism ought not to be mentioned in d earlier post of mine but I did dat just to bring to the fore the horrendous crime the State engage the anti-corruption bodies to fight their perceived enemies. Just like I would never be able to justify Chidi Lloyd's mace wielding lawmaker who broke someone's head- a fellow lawmaker in the Rivers House of Assemble brouhaha. Can u imagine EFCC bn brought in to go and prosecute Lloyd for a physical assault offence and a-yet-to-be-identified financial crime? This was done because d so called Chidi Lloyd is an Amaechi loyalist. EFCC in dis case are bn used by the Presidency to deal with their perceived enemies hence my mention of James Ibori's case. Thanks for your constructive response, this is what a forum should be like! |
So funny how none of y'all can't see that this Danjuma of a guy and his cronies are the recurring decimals of corruption as regards the present state of Nigeria. Dude got Oil bloc without due process. Dude earned N147 billion ($ exchange rate at the time) from the sale/transfer of his shares in SAPETRO to a Chinese consortium without recourse to the people suffering from environmental degradation as a result of the impact of the activities of Oil Companies operating under this OML of Danjuma. Danjuma is a COUPIST, an ARSONIST. He is a free man today and he is celebrating birthday for his wife...his brothers are living lavish. He is swimming in splendour and his family are spending REAL MONEY and wasting money and y'all be quick to criticise James Ibori's family and friends for daring to celebrate his birthday. Nigerians are just double edged sword individuals. Until y'all realise that Political Witchunting would get Nigeria nowhere, thence we can get to see the shadow of the promised land and with the right effort we all are gonna make a grand entrance into such PROMISED LAND. Once again let me reiterate my earlier position, DANJUMA IS STILL PART OF THE PROBLEM IN THIS COUNTRY. Oil blocs shouldn't be left in d hands of few individuals to the detriment of the larger populace. These guys are free people today coz they haven't fallen out-of-favour with the President unlike James Ibori who truly fought for the Nigerian state for his insistence on True Fiscal Federalism. But y'all be quick to vilify such individuals. Give me one reason why Ibori shouldn't be a free man in d present Nigeria and I'd give u a A BiLLION reasons why Danjuma, Folorunso Alakija, Tinubu and some other criminals that I've bn able to assess classified informations on but the state ain't prepared to prosecute such persons for fear of backlash that might trail such adventures... IBB's Loot is a child's play to what the current principal actors are performing at the moment. So a birthday celebration of a THIEF like the DANJUMA's should elicit the same response, if not worse than that y'all gave to James Ibori who didn't murder any head of state, who didn't hijack any government before his rise to political fame unlike General Danjuma. |
