In fact it Is extremely underdeveloped but it is still residential neighborhood unlike the pics of both provided. It is clear to me that you are stressed about this situation, hence the anger in you. I also concluded that you did indeed talked to her about the issue (because she received #5000 worth of goods prior), but (as a Nigerian) she didn't believe you. This may be due to the stereotype that the average Nigerian is a scam.

Due to this disbelief of hers and continuous advice from her friends, she tagged you a scam, hence the plea from her to return her money instead of the goods.

I am sure this pressure made you take the decision of ignoring her because you are fed up with calls from different angles.

let me give a story,

My younger sister here in Canada worked with a sales company, but the company refuses to pay due to some financial difficulties. The only thing that let the company off the hook, was that they presented evidence of their finances and couple with a good explanation before eventually shutting down.

anyways, if you have proof her goods were delayed or seized, feel free to provide it here just to clear the air. also stop insulting people word for word. talk to people with proof of seized goods, text messages, Facebook messages, sales invoices, receipt, any thing that can help everyone work with you.

Even in the court of law, if you have evidence the goods were purchased and seized, then you guys will have to split the loss into half.

And also if you really is genuine about this situation, call the op and you guys can speak with a mediator or better still, settle this dispute in court.

don't leave this situation to GOD, get a lawyer if you think you were scammed, but note, if you are wrong/lose the case, you will likely pay the defendant a lump sum of money (emotional distress) including all damages and her money spent during the time of the case.

Ever since the new central bank law on dollar deposit, how can one send money from Nigeria to Canada. myself and friends whom are mainly international students from Nigeria are finding it very difficult to receive money for our tuition.
