The intent of every leader in any aspect of society is to seeing his/her subordinate happy. But in the context of certain leader, in a certain oil rich state from the south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria; the reverse speaks better than the moral content of the society.
There is no gain saying that the political and administrative head of that state has committed an administrative turpitude through inconsistent policy framework and actions. This singular and social mistake may take more than two decades to repair.
economically, underemployment, overemployment and unemployment are all problems, pose as serious threat to the fulfilment of economic objectives. These threats further stimulate social mess. Therefore, effort of any leader is to simultaneously solve them. Failure of any leader, in any platform, of any state or society to holistically address them display a sufficient knowledge of administrative incompetence and thus should voluntarily resign without the demand of his/her people.
Specifically, and at present in bayelsa state, the government of the day is driving a policy direction to tackling pay roll fraud, over staff in the civil service and others in the state. Yes, this is a vibrant policy plan and action that the restoration government of bayelsa state is embarking...... But, the most entertaining questions are:
what are technical and the physical structures his government has put in place To accommodate these laid off staff below the age of 60years?
Is it not the responsibility of government to create employment through good policy?
Why can’t he reduce the number of political aids to encourage prudent spending?
Is that the initial contract term between bayelsa state government and her employees?
Is it true that his government has not invoke executive order to employ any to join these over staff structure of civil service?
Has government realised the fact that she has no good data base system to track the age of her populace?
Must citizens beg a job from a good government?
What is the essence of temporally employment subject to confirmation within the first two years of appointment in the civil service edict? And To ask but a few.
I do hope, the above rhetoric questions require some clarification from the public. And to the best of my knowledge, the governor of the state is only tackling under employment problem at the wide expense of unemployment in the state. This implies that the intending disengaged staff who said to utilising below their potential (underemployed) due to low capacity of the civil service structure, will be added to the existing unemployed force of the state.
Thus, such policy direction is inconsistent and shows a lack of administrative competence, and therefore for call voluntary resignation.
Remember, a leader is there because of his/her followers problems, and a good leader need to respect himself and resign, if objectives are not materialised.

The incident, according to airport sources, delayed landing and take-off
of other airplanes as some of them had to be diverted to other
airports.

As at the time of filing this report, normalcy had returned at the

airport as full activities had resumed. Airport officials have however
maintained sealed lips over the incident as they said it was strictly a
military affair.
