All Christians in Nigeria know that unity is truly lacking amongst us, the question is why?

From what i have observed, Tribalism, Regionalism and Denominationalism have been the major reasons for christian disunity in Nigeria.

Nigerian muslims also have tribal, regional and denominantional divisions as christians too but their own division is not as bad as that of christians. All Nigerian muslims adopted the Sultan of Sokoto as their spiritual and permanent leader for instance and they are all ok with it. They have their Jamratul-nasul, Jibwis, Ansarudeen and other national abiding islamic unions. This is almost absent in the case of christians. The only national all-abiding christian union the CAN was criticized and rejected by many Nigerian christians and now it has lost it's power as it has been divided.

Igbo and Yoruba christians seem to never agree on anything but tribal differences, Southern Christians completely disregard Middlebelt and Northern christians. Catholics never want to do anything together with Pentecostals or Anglicans, other christians abhor Jehovah's witnesses. Everyone is feeling superior over the other. Will this madness ever be overcomed?

The CAN is divided today because Northern/Middlebelt christian leaders felt cheated and discriminated and nobody seems to care?

Well personally, I don't think being a gentle man and career focused has anything to do with being white or black. It all boils down to how you were nutured into an adult i.e ur upbring and environment. It often shapes ones personality.
If your brought up in an environment where women r seen as equals and are respected, you carry on that view.

Are u talking about endowment or sexual endurance? Cos they are two different things. The fact that one does not have an oversized organ does not mean he cannot perform as a man, last long or make a woman climax. Physical endowment is not synonymous to sexual prowess. And like the other lady said, sex is not everything in marriage, just part of it. White guys beat black guys in every other aspect.

Talking about long lasting marriages, marriage between black people mostly last because black women (african precisely) are very very enduring. We endure a lot of nonsense from our husbands. That is the reason why.

I will like to ask Seun and all Mods why I as a Christian can not comment on Islamic topics in this forum unless I accept Islam by clicking yes to the Islamic quote that Allah is the only true God and Mohammed is his messenger. And if you click "No" you are not permitted to comment.

Why are Muslims free to comment in topics posted on Sundays about Christianity without questions or any bible quote requesting them to say yes to be Christians but I don't enjoy same privilege as a Christian.

Personally, i dont know why i have this strange feeling when am with white people. I am skeptical on the issue of interracial marriage. However i do admire it when i see it, especially when the couples match each other like this couple.

Some Advantages i think are associated with marriage to a white man over a Nigerian man ..... am i right or wrong?

1) No fear on anticipation of Mother-in-law related issues. ;DWhite mother in laws have no time for stalking or analyzing their son's wives characters. They respect their son's choice and never expect you to conform to their standards, they try to get along with you.
2) White families are very supportive and non sentimental, they usually accept the choices of their relative believing their person knows what's best for himself. In summary, their families are extremely nice and non judgemental to you the wife on the average.
3)White men respect and support women and women's feelings, ideas and choices more on the average than black men do.
4) White men are very much career oriented and never lazy, hardly broke and financially empowered.
5) Free Visa/green card and a better national Identity/country to associate with to escape Nigeria's numerous problems.
5) Giving birth to beautiful and lovely biracial children.

Over the years, the percentage of Nigerian women getting married to white men has increased, at home and abroad. However, on the average, Nigerian men still get married to white spouses more than we the Nigerian ladies to the white men. Why is this so?

As a Nigerian lady, would you prefer a white man to a Nigerian man if both are seeking for your hand in marriage at the same time?
How do you view interracial marriages at large? Do you encourage it?

Look at that chart you posted and do a simple arithmetic, add up the monetary proceeds from the cotton, hides and skin, groundut and Tin minning together, it is above 1.5 million pounds then add up the Timber and oil palm and see that it is just about 1.9 million pounds as of 1913, what is the big difference there? Then look carefully at 1914 and see that your oil palm seriously dropped in value while Tin minning showed good progress, do the arithmetic of 1914 and tell me what you come up with. Nonsense.

Oil palm was mostly produced by present day Delta and Edo states and as of 1914, there was only one Southern region, so this was the collective effort of the whole southern region. Delta n Edo were no time part of the Eastern region, they were western region before they became midwest.

I talked about 'concerted efforts' in the aspect of the land cleaning, which i have re-assessed and seen that it may not really be over the years, but again, the oil spillage was not the major reason for the agitation of the Niger deltan people, rescource control and an increased allocation was the major reason and that is why that aspect has always topped negotiation chart on the part of the agitators and not oil spillage issues.

They take part in the issue of the environmental hazard and pollution caused from spillage and not the FG alone. What has the leaders of the region done to put these kind of miscreants in check? No, many of them fund these vandals to get illegal money through theft and at the end of the day they heap all the blames of the destruction of their land on the federal government. You people must develop a joint functional governors forum or traditional leaders forum of the SS, u can join together with other willing Southern politicians or traditional rulers from the SE or SW. These are the ways to make your voices known or louder, through strong pressure groups which will eventually gain good support from the masses.

If this fails, then i think the only option would be to fight/threaten for seccesion clearly stating that the only option out is regional rescource control. Your elders and leaders must be at the fore-front of this issue.
