PapaBrowne: Ans: There is no Nigerian city besides Lagos and Abuja that are more developed than Port Harcourt forever. As in even when I was borne in PH yeears ago, it was the second most developed city in Nigeria.

But there are numerous Nigerian Cities that have been better improved than Port Harcourt over the last 5 years. Infact, PH has actually deteriorated while others have improved.
Uyo, Benin, Calabar, Enugu and a host of other have experienced much more improvements than Port Harcourt.

I repeat, I'm a PH boy of sorts as I was born there, grew up a little there and visit quite often. And PH is an Eyesore. The places that should give the city pride are not nice at all. Even GRA and its surroundings nothing to right home about. I was in Enugu around February this year and I met a pleasant surprise. There is pictures of beautiful Cities accross Nigeria and there is no Picture of Port Harcourt. Even Warri, PH's younger sister is beginning to be more impressive than Port Harcourt.

So my question to you: Amaechi has spent $20 Billion in the last 5 years. Can you show me a sinlgle picture of PH that says, money in billions of dollars was spent on me.

I'm a regular PH visitor and the city is disappointing. I mean what happens to all the allocation that accrues monthly.
If you visit Uyo you can see the obvious impact of the governor and thats why the internet is filled with pictures of the city.
Same with Enugu. Same with Calabar and even Benin City is coming up.
If you go to Lagos, you will see the Obvious impact of Fashola on the state.

But Port Harcourt, a complete mess. The only thing Amaechi did was the schools he built. However, you never see students at the school and I wonder why.

Uyo, enugu, calabar nd benin ar no match 4 port harcourt in terms of development nd urbanization. So cut d crap, u ar talking abt nigeria's 2nd most developed city. In case u dnt knw lagos has slums too even d US.

I've heard alot, watched alot nd seen a little of his uncommon transformation works while going to calabar. Ranging from d goods roads, street lights, colourful fountains, bridges, ibom tropicana nd golf course, akwa ibom international airport, d cinema, d le meridien, ibaka deep sea port, construction of d biggest hospital in nigeria, world class library d empowerment nd more numerous projects dat i can't even list dem all. I want to knw if any Governor is doin better than him or has done better within d past 4 to 6years nd also if d city of Uyo can contend with d likes of PH, Enugu, Owerri, Calabar, nd other cities within d south-south or south east geo-political zone in terms of infrastructural development, road networks, power, industry nd commerce nd in general. plaindealer: 1. ND is not the only oil producing region in Nigeria, Ondo state where the project was sited is an oil producing state too.

2. Chevron's oil activities is in Ondo state hence their involvement in the project in Ondo state.


3. ND is not the beginning and end of oil in Nigeria, oil id flowing in other regions too and it's about to start flowing in Lagos too.


4. Ondo and Ogon state are building the OK FTZ/Energy hub and a deep sea port to move LNG and other energy products all over the world in the same area.

5. Dangote is spending $8 billion on his Refinery in the same Olokola FTZ

6. Covenant Ground Refinery is building another refinery in the same Olokola (OKFTZ) in Ondo State too.

The FG and the rest of the shortsighted clowns in Abuja can sabotage and play their usual bad bele game, but their failed LNG project is not the only game in town. It's still full steam ahead for Olokola (OKFTZ).

This is going to be the new Energy Capital of Sub Africa and next in line is the Badagry Energy city...
