Fred and his team got to Herlett falls in hope of seeing either Buck or John, but to their surprise, no one was there. Toby turned around, scanning the whole area; hoping they weren’t going to be ambushed. Owen’s negative nod confirmed their suspicions, indeed no one was at the falls. Fred was all fidgety, all hopes seemed to be crushed, they’ve come too far to be disappointed, to be sure it wasn’t some kind of time displacement he turned to Alice


“Are you sure we came at the right time, or we are a little bit earlier?”

“We are right on time Fred; it’s just a few minutes past eleven”


They were all surprised, looking around and thinking within them on what went wrong when they heard someone laugh. It was surprising, a laughter at a very odd moment, even without turning they knew the culprit, but his purpose was unknown. Fred looked at Sam bewildered, he was holding the hands of the lady supposed to be his prisoner and he was clutching his stomach with his other hand. It was when his laughter died down that he noticed the eyes of everyone was on him, even Britt was gawking surprisingly at him wishing the guy did not just run mad.


“Why are you all looking at me, the human wolf is not here”

“Is that something to laugh about” Alice countered irritated at Sam’s behavior

“That’s not why I laughed”

“Then why are you laughing” Alex another member of the football team asked

“The witch said he would be here”

“That’s still not a reason to laugh” this time the girl he was holding spoke

“Don’t you all get it, the witch played us like a fiddle, with the way she said everything like she knew what was and not going to happen, I knew in my guts that she was up to something, I merely laughed at my own realization”


He had just made sense everyone had just understood him and they were all filled with thoughts. Some were thinking what the witch end game of deceiving them was while others were simply thinking of how to find the witch and kill her for purposely leading them through the wrong track.


“So what now Fred” Alice asked with a sigh of defeat, If and only if Sam’s theory was correct they have all trained and prepared for nothing. Owen sudden movement eastward saved Fred from answering the question.


“Wait! I hear something, It’s coming from the preserve and no it’s not just anything, the breaking of twigs sound like it’s an army, though I can’t get their scent, too many things are in my way”


Fred looked on, he wanted to compliment the werewolf super senses but he thought against it, and though Owen was helping them he was still their enemy maybe for now they can call him a frenemy.


“You might just be wrong after the woman was old and she might have made a mistake”


Alice commented not sure if she was saying this because she didn’t want to believe the old woman fooled them for weeks or otherwise. Fred turned facing everyone and in his usual voice that screamed of authority he gave what Sam would call a feeble speech


“Alright people we are going to the woods, probably to meet our deaths or otherwise but there is one thing I know for sure we are going to revenge Sean Luke, there is no die trying here, We must revenge coach even if that’s the last thing we do”


Britt watched closely at not just Fred but every one of them and she wondered how someone was so hell bent on vengeance, to her if they kept on this way, they won’t last a second but she kept that to herself, who was she? She was just the daughter of who they wanted to kill and if not for the exchange she was sure she would be long dead. Sam on the other hand scoffed after Fred was true and as Fred was passing him he leaned closer and he whispered into his ear


“Please don’t call that a speech or a motive for encouragement if we rely on that we would all be dead”
Looking in disbelief he shook his head and walked away, they were headed for the preserve, sixteen of them

We were at the preserves already, eleven of us, scouting this whole area, I asked them to do that though, to eradicate the element of surprise, if anything was going to get through this woods I want to know about it. It felt better to be home, the familiar air was soothing, I can’t believe I left this place; the preserve was just like my second home. Taking a deep breath I sensed someone or people, over twenty gladly it was not just me others sensed it too. This time I wasn’t waiting to be attacked, I was going straight to my attacker. I ran as fast as I could to where these people were coming from.


I had hopes of seeing the human wolf once again but instead I say friendly faces. Remember the girl I attacked the first day I got to school she was there, along with nineteen others.


“What the hell are you doing here Violet?” Mia asked surprised at the sudden appearance of another group

“Just like old times Mia, you and I together on a mission” Violet responded eyeing me in disgust “Just like you the principal sent me, so for once let us put our disputes away and fight together” she continued

“Not bad from a girl like you” Lance commented idly no caring about any status’ we were out of the school and that meant we were out of showing respect to someone higher than us in status.


Still trying to figure out a way around this I sensed something else ‘humans with no heartbeats, old wood’ shit! This was a very bad combination Vampires and Slaughs. Vampires I could deal with, but adding that old fast soul stealing character? This was going to be one hell of a fight.
I cringed in familiarity immediately I saw him, the one eyed man. He was a slaugh? I’ve seen him a couple of times in the school, Mia even introduced him to me as is it Santé or Santos I didn’t really care, she said he was her friend while she was in the woods, but that was not the only problem the vampires were drawing closer and the last time I checked that human wolf use to walk around with a few vampires, but instead of that bloody slowpoke someone else showed up


“Fred?’ I put in surprised looking around him I saw familiar faces; the remaining members of the foot ball team, that was predictable he had with him a big guy he was a werewolf and he also had a girl with him that idiot Sam was holding her then I saw Alice, my brother’s girlfriend. She was also surprised to see me I was really confused. Fred and the rest of the football team being a vampire that I can go with, but Alice? I was finding it really hard to believe my own eyes, and as if to confuse me more James showed up, a few feet in front of us. I didn’t sense him; I must have let my guard down when I saw Fred and Santos and that was a very bad thing to do.

When I came to this school I was unconscious and I knew not how I got there, but leaving today, I could see all I missed the day I came. The school was situated in a forest, green everywhere if I was asked to name this school in would probably name it Greenfield. The little fight I had with my teammates the other day has already been settled, my purpose and at the lycans school was now clear to them, according to what they said before we left, we were cool.


We walked for hours before we busted into a tarred road, the road was still in the middle of the forest. On the road was three black pick-up jeeps with their drivers in each I got into one and three of my teammates followed suite Mia, Joe, Lance and Lisa.


I kept looking through the window for the rest of the journey wishing this could end quickly so that i could go home and resume my life as the boring teenager I once was but presently stopping this guy that has my brother was my number one priority.


At a time we stopped at one motel to spend the night and continue the journey the next day, by this time we were already in the city, though I don’t know where I wasn’t one to ask. We were all unbelievably quiet perhaps they were thinking of this fight and were wondering if they were going to scale it alive. It was obvious, everyone was thinking, not excluding myself I was so filled in thoughts and none of them were good ones all my thoughts sounded bad, even to me one was getting home to see my brother and my father’s dead body, another included going home to meet my brother in a different state, another was me dying at the hands of the human wolf.


‘Mark or is it James what the hell is bothering you?” Mia whispered snapping me from my train of thoughts. I just shook my head negatively and replied her “Nothing” she grinned at me and she just left

Still at the warehouse, Fred with the rest of his team started preparing for the inevitable happening by noon the next day according to the witch
“Looks like we all are prepared for tomorrow, now it’s over to you Sam” Fred said looking at Sam straight in the eye
“I don’t get you’ Sam replied, “what do you mean by it’s over to me” Sam asked the million dollar question
“I want you to talk to that human wolf daughter, tell her what her fathers’ become” Fred elaborated

“You want me to corrupt her mind, you want me to make her see her father as the evil guy he really is and what even makes you think she would answer me?” Sam asked

“It’s very obvious, the girl liked you from the start, and giving the way you look at her I’m guessing it’s a mutual feeling “Toby replied.

“At Herlett falls, the old witch that served as a source of information to Fred and his group of friends stood beside the cliff looking down she said something with a depressing look “The omega shall fall” and immediately that depression on her face changed, now she was grinning “The omega falling means Santos shall rise, finally what I’ve always craved for” she continued “Come to me Santos, I’ve waited long enough” the old witch said to herself.

Looking t the kid before him straight in the eye “James Hale, now you listen to whatever I ask you to do” the alfather said to a mindless James “Yes I will listen to whatever you ask me to do” James replied. The alfather smiled wickedly, compulsion hardly worked on werewolves, they were very strong and they could break the damn spell.
“Tomorrow you will pretend to be yourself, and while the exchange is going on you kill the girl” the alfather ordered

Cautiously and carefully Sam opened the door to the room housing their prisoner, left to him she wasn’t a prisoner; she wasn’t deprived of anything one should have in a makeshift room. To Sam she should feel better in here than where Owen pulled her out from according to Owen that place was stinking.

“Hey “Sam said quietly as he walked in, the girl jerked upwards rushing to meet Sam at the door “when do I get to go home, why are you people even keeping me here?” she asked pretty oblivious of the things that has happened these past months and Sam relayed everything to her, not leaving anything out except from the truth about her father, he wanted her to get that herself so while telling her the story of the human wolf he used the pronoun ‘he’ instead of his actual name.


“While you were wherever it is that they kept you, did you notice anything strange about your father?” Sam asked “Except from the fact that he turned deaf hears to my pleas for him to let me out and he was behaving like a catatonic patient nothing strange” she replied “I’m sorry to tell you this but you father is the human wolf” Sam said kind of expecting her to break into tears, but she did none of that. Now everything has just become clear to her, now she understood why they needed her. “Fine I will do whatever you want me to do, but I’m not killing him’ you can do that yourselves” se said. Sam was surprised; she seemed so cool about this.


“Sam” he said outstretching his hands for an hand-shake “Britt” she said taking his hands and shaking them, then Sam made for the door.
“Sam!” she exclaimed slightly, that made him switch his attention to her “did you really mean it when you said you weren’t sure if you were going to die or live tomorrow” she asked “I don’t even know” Sam replied “then forgive me for doing this, I just don’t know how I would feel if I didn’t do this in case you died tomorrow. Sam was flabbergasted, this girl was very plain. She jumped on him and she kissed him deeply. Sam didn’t care about her carefree style of things, the only thing that came to his mind right now was that this girl was a very good kisser.

Try getting some good sleep and stop keeping late nights and whenever you want to use your phone or laptop anything at all try reducing the brightness to minimal it also causes you not to be able to look at your screen and keeping late nights might cause your body to react, not sleeping well might also cause headaches and even malaria, sleeping is very essential in our survival bro and you shouldn't deny your body that cos I know that is part of what usually cause people not to be able to look at the screen of your gadget, you can also try milk for the eyes.

Just like an answer to his alfather question the alfather walked in with two people, both were clad in lab coats and one was holding a grey coloured briefcase

"Hello young man, sorry to hold you down here against your wish, but you are a means for me to get what I want" the alfather said fluently to James "and what is it you want from me?" James inquired

"Its something quite personal, but before I tell you that let me educate you on something LYCANTROPHY" the alfather said looking closely at James as the human wolf watching James before the alfather came in shifted to his wolf form, James not flinching cured his doubts, the kid knew about werewolves, so he continued "for hundreds of years influential people that knew about lycans or werewolves as you would say had tried to make artificial lycans, yeah not fo any good means but because they needed something powerful and strong that they could control and for hundreds of years they have failed miserably and among this failures I also tried and after two years it was a success, presently we have eleven of them, but as science goes we found out something the more they are related to werewolves, the stronger they are"

"so what are you insinuating?" James said wishing within him that this alfather of a man before him wasn't thinking of doing what he was thinking "stop stalling young man you know what I mean, and since your mother is a born werewolf then that's the point, you would be the perfect person for what I want and also I want your brother, the Omega and only you can get him for me" the alfather said as the doctor holding the briefcase opened it to reveal a syringe and a clear liquid.

"when we started the experiment, it took us two years and gradually the time started to lessen, now I cam make a werewolf in a day" the alfather said and he nodded to the men that came in with him, the both of them approached James and while one bent his neck forcefully sideways, the other injected him but before the injection started to have effects on James the alfather stepped forward into the light revealing himself to James and he said "Just like that" work by word.

Then the clear liquid started having effects on James, he was pulling frantically at himself as if he tar trying to tear his skin off, screaming as he did so and gradually his screams turned into growls and finally fangs grew from his teeth as his eyes glowed emerald green and he gave a ferocious roar.
