Let me make my contribution as an APC supporter.
Each person should consider refining petrol in their own backyard, as it is unrealistic to expect the government to address all issues comprehensively.

Babinski:

The PVC removes discretion in identification because it carries the chip for the identification process. Saying BVAS already contains details of voters and any identification can be used depends on the discretion of the officer managing the identification process. That is a big room for error and compromise that invalidates the entire purpose of the BVAS because any chain is only as strong as the weakest link in the chain.

The suggestion of Itodo and his Yiaga Africa should be done away with because it emanates either out of ignorance or cunning to undermine the integrity of the election process.

Your understanding of the BVAS accreditation process appears to be limited, and your comment suggests that you have not participated in any elections since the introduction of BVAS. As someone who served as a party agent in the most recent election and voted, I can clarify that the chip in the PVC is irrelevant when voting with BVAS. The critical requirement is for your profile to be registered in the BVAS machine. If your details are not present in the machine, it cannot complete the accreditation process. Accreditation is conducted through either fingerprint or facial recognition, and the machine must match this biometric data with its records to proceed. Furthermore, the BVAS system maintains a count of the number of individuals it has accredited.

Yiaga Africa is right, what we need is only a means of identification to vote after registration.

Minimum wage should be not less than ₦120,000, if we factor in inflection and the value of our currency to Dollar. Won , south Korea currency is almost equivalent to Naira in value, and their minimum wage is above a million naira.

Take it easy. Even with Obi, it won't have been better. We all know the problem is subsidy removal which Obi will cowardly not remove but pass the problem to the next government.

I still believe that this idea of subsidy removal that we are all suffering from at the moment will still be beneficial to us on the long run.

Which subsidy removal, the one your government is secretly paying above a trillion naira monthly.

If you have nothing to say, pls it's better you do not type rubbish

Monday Ubani, former Chairman of the Section of Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL), Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), says it will be difficult for the Supreme Court to admit fresh evidence in the appeal of the judgment of the presidential election petition tribunal.

Ubani said this on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Thursday.

Ubani was reacting to the case initiated in the United States by the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, where he requested for the release of President Bola Tinubu’s certificate from the Chicago State University with the suspicion that the certificate the President submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may not be authentic.

He noted that admitting fresh evidence was rare and could only be taken in special circumstances.

“Looking at the facts surrounding it, the admissibility of fresh evidence by the appellate court is very rare, especially if that evidence was available to you while you were initiating the process.
