owobokiri: They came in and met billions of dollars in reserves, they then removed the fuel subsidy, telling us it was the only way to ensure financial surplus.., not done, they added more to the duties and VATS paid at the ports, then "bank stamps' on transactions..., they then connerd trillions through the so-called anti-corruption fight.., borrowed billions of dollars both from the world bank and ADB.., refused to raise minimum wage while raking in billions through fines on MTN them and through a vigorous FIRS..Now, after being chased away from selling off the LNG and being stopped from borrowing over 30 billion usd., they are going to make what? 17 billion usd from asset sales! When they are done, they will look you straight in the face and STILL tell you; "there is no money...the past administration stole every dime.., oil sales are low:.., bla bla bla bla... This government needs to tell Nigerians where all the monies are going to... You nailed it bros |

spafu: You are seriously un-serious if you did not make Buhari number one. Who appointed Fashola and gave him three in one ministries? It is a big failure for leader to fail to pick the right subordinates to delegate power to. So for me: 1) Baba go slow, Baba travel travel, Baba blame it on PDP/16 years, Baba full of excuses. 2) APC Party 3) APC government at the federal level as a whole 4) APC governors at state level. |

1) The Rivers State Government challenges the Nigeria Police to show proof that Governor Wike financially induced any official of INEC.
2) Does the Police have Bank records of the purported transactions between Governor Wike and the Electoral Officers?
3) We challenge the Nigeria Police to move quickly to prosecute and imprison the so-called Electoral Officers on the basis of this dubious investigation.
4) Never in the annals of infamy have we seen a vital State security institution descend to the lowest depths of blackmail and criminality, as the Nigeria Police Force has done in this case. |

Politics › It's A Lie. I Did Not Promise To Return Any Money To EFCC - Fani Kayode by Splashme(op): 1:42pm On Feb 07, 2017 |
A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has denied reports that he is planning to return N26m to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. Fani-Kayode, who is standing trial before an FCT High Court for an alleged N26m fraud, said in a statement that the court proceedings were misinterpreted and misrepresented by a section of the media. He said what happened in court was that a new lawyer, Mr. Ahmed Raji (SAN), took up his case and asked the court to give him more time to study it. The ex-minister said, “Reports that are coming out that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has agreed to return N26m to the EFCC in an attempt to settle his case at the Abuja Federal High Court out of court with them are false.
“The matter was adjourned in the Abuja Federal High Court primarily because a new lawyer in the person of Mr. Ahmed Raji (SAN) is now handling the case and he needed time to be properly briefed on the matter and to go through the file. “Under no circumstances will Chief Fani-Kayode pay any money back to the EFCC or any other government agency because he never collected any money from any government agency in the first place. The reports are false, embarrassing and mischievous.” http://punchng.com/im-not-returning-money-efcc-says-fani-kayode/ |
